Airconditioning of sports centre
Vacková, Tereza ; Tesař, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the present bachelor thesis is to design air-conditioning devices in specific sections of a sports centre. The individual devices are designed to meet the hygienic, operational and functional requirements as demanded by the indoor microclimate of the premises. Devices 1 and 2 ensure the indoor air circulation, coverage of heat loss in winter and heat rise in sum-mer. Device 3 serves as a hot air ventilator for the hygienic facilities. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the issue of coolers. The practical part comprises of a proposal of three specific air-conditioning devices operating in a restaurant, squash courts and hygienic facilities. The result of the thesis is a project documentation of two air-conditioning devices for the given premises.

This bachelor’s thesis deal with a biomass boilers. In the first part of this thesis is discribed biomass like a fuel for a boilers. Second part shortly discribes a combustion proces and possible construction these device. Main thing in this thesis is calculations a exchanger and with it nessesery calculations quantiti of air, produkt of combustion, enthalpy, calculations heat transfer surface and suggestion exchange.
Usage of Busbar as a Source of Heat
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This study is dedicated to the use of heat energy from the busbar and its cooling system. The study deals with thermal analysis of the busbar, both using numerical simulations in SolidWorks and practical examination – warming of the busbar. We can verify the correctness of the simulation from the measured values. To determine the temperature profile of the busbar, it is necessary to measure the temperature at various points of the busbar by contact method using thermocouple or contactless method using a thermal imager. Measurements are performed at the busbar LIA1600 made by Siemens Busbar Trunking System Mohelnice. The aim of the study is to analyze temperature busbar, to suggest the most efficient method of heat recovery, and to make economic calculation
Condensing heat exchager for solid fuel boiler 200 kW
Pinkas, Jan ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The point of this thesis is a waste gas condensator for 200kW woodchips burning boiler. In the first part of the thesis types of heat exchangers are introduced. Condensation is introduced. Further all necessary equations and relations for vertical shall and tube heat exchanger are specified. Following those relations waste gas condensator is designed. Situation under different input conditions is talked over in the end.
System Proposal for the Use of Low-potential Heat
Kučera, Roman ; Bartoň, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of a low-potential heat from the energetics point of view. It also deals with the sources and subsequent use of the low-potential heat. First of all, the thesis mentions the origin of these sources and also describes where they can be found. Also the technologies, that are able to utilize this heat, like heat pumps and solar collectors, are mentioned in this part of the thesis. In its next part, the bachelor thesis deals with use of the waste heat for heating and production of electrical energy. In the last part, the thesis presents the project that introduces a specific concept of the system for object heating from the waste heat.
Potential of waste heat recuperation in a polyfunctional building
Nagorskyi, Bogdan ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the possibilities of heat recovery in air ventilation systems. After a thorough analysis of the problems, the different ways of ventilation with the return of heat are compared even during simultaneous operation of the heating source. The research includes the selection of a suitable ventilation device with heat recovery based on a first investment and operating costs. Subsequently, the selected ventilation device is used for the HVAC project in the housing part of the multifunctional building. The project is created in BIM Revit software.
COMPUTING SOFTWARE AND METHODOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FOR REFRIGERATION MINICHANNEL CONDENSER EVALUATION
Pavlů, Jaroslav ; Masaryk, Michal (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
Air cooled heat exchangers are used in many technology applications. Compactness, functionality and prize is decision maker for many future customers. Current development of compact heat exchangers is evident. Mostly used technology - expanded copper tube on aluminium fin is fluently changed by all aluminium heat exchangers with sophisticated heat exchange surface. Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning with Refrigeration industry (HVAC-R) uses more and more extrude aluminium profiles as the main structure for all size heat exchangers. Similarly to Automotive industry HVAC-R uses minichannels as the basis of their products. It is not a new technology, it is technology proved through many years use in car industry. It is also true that current well known minichannel technology is not the last step. New designs and production lines are currently developed as well. All these new technologies have one unsolved thing together – how will be the new technologies easily computed through models. Current correlations which were used till now are obsolete, because of system miniaturization mainly. It is not easy to adapt old macro channel correlations on minichannel or microchannels where is not possible to diminish capillarity effects, different flow structures, etc. All these difficulties causes in model changes, software changes or iterative procedures upgrades. It is also evident that a lot of experimental exercises have to be done to examine heat exchanger behaviour ad characteristics. Because of precise computation of minichannel heat exchangers need or its geometry optimization is dissertation theme aimed to compare computation methodologies. PhD thesis is also aimed to check functionality of proposed computation system used simple similarity model. All proposed methods are compared to experimentally measured data and as the outcome of thesis are these data used to develop new computation basis.
Heat exchanger for thermal management systems of battery modules of electric vehicles: experiment and simulation
Grygar, Jan ; Mráz, Kryštof (referee) ; Boháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with a heat exchanger made of polymeric hollow fibers. The first part is devoted to the heat generated during charging and discharging processes. The cooling performance at different loads is experimentally tested and the effect of the flow rate on the battery temperature is observed. And a CFD simulation is performed using an opensource program OpenFOAM to see how the flow rate is distributed in the different branches of the heat exchanger.
Cooling systems of battery vehicle
Šimáček, Daniel ; Hvožďa, Jiří (referee) ; Bartuli, Erik (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cooling systems for electric vehicles. The first part is devoted to the theoretical description of the components producing the largest part of the heat - the battery and the electric motor. Heat transfer theory is also mentioned to better relate the cooling issues. The second part focuses on the description of the current cooling approaches for the electric vehicle components - battery and electric motor. The section on electric motor cooling includes a comparison of cooling approaches with the internal combustion engine. Alternative cooling methods are described in next section.
