The significance of the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Hradec Králové and the proposal of the educational program

The diploma thesis contains a brief overview of the historical development of the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Hradec Králové. In a rough outline discusses the historical, religious and cultural wealth created by several generations of our ancestors over the course of seven centuries. The diploma thesis contains a proposal of an educational program in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. The program is designed primarily for secondary school students. Considering the uniqueness of the place and its rich potential is there mentioned not only the uniqueness the history and architecture, but also the work of some important personalities of local social and religious life. An integral part of the educational program is the brief history of the church, its development and hierarchy. The contribution of Christianity to the education of the nation is not forgotten either. In this context the program leads to a closer knowledge of the cathedral and the life around it, and helps students overcome prejudices against Christianity ant the Church. It reveals the cathedral as a cultural and social connection. Educational targets: between gallery and school

Annotation: The diploma thesis analyzes level of quality of gallery educating systems in educational institutions. It focuses on city of Kutná Hora and Gallery of the Central Bohemia Region. In its theoretical part it focuses on characterization of gallery educating systém and shows that musems and galleries can offer educative activities of great value. It describes its origins and tradition in the Czech Republic. It describes its methods and goals, characters of educators, their role in educating programs. It focuses on how it works as part of curricular documents and describes how space can affect quality of educational process. The second part introduces Gallery of the Central Bohemia Region Kutná Hora and its center for education LC GASK, its goals and visions of. It describes what activities LC GASK offers and not only for schools. The third part describes experience from three points of view. The first point of view is of child participating in the educational programs, the child was actually the author of the diploma thesis. The second is a teacher who tries to offer educational programs to students and it also shows difficulties which exist in this process and trying to deal with these difficulties. Museum educational programmes for National Pedagogical Museum of J. A. Comenius in Prague

The main aim of the Diploma Theses is to prepare, verify in practice and evaluate museum educational programme for pupils from 12 to 18 (junior schools and secondary schools) which is devoted to the changes in schooling in 20th century. The aim is to introduce to pupils historical facts by the means of three educational programmes and interactive elements in the exhibition. Pupils work with topics covering World War II, 50s and so called normalization period. Throughout the educational process they will use period realia from the above mentioned periods, such as schoolbooks, educational boards and educational aids from the collection of Comenius National Pedagogical Museum and Library in Prague. Creating of an educational program of dental hygiene at DVD for pupils in the first grade of secondary school

The aim of the thesis was to create an educational software with the use of DVD player. This DVD is supposed to influence the level of secondary school pupils' awareness about dental hygiene in a positive way. Furthermore, it should increase the students' motivation in taking regular care of their oral cavities. This should be helpful to persist not only their healthy denture but also their overall health. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the anatomy of the oral cavity, particularly on the tooth construction and types of teeth. Next, the issue of dental caries and their resemblance in other more serious dental diseases, such as gingivitis or paradontitis, is presented. The attention is paid to both mechanical and chemical tools for cleaning teeth which are the cornerstones of taking proper care about the oral cavity. Second part of the thesis is practical. It is based on evaluation two tests about children's knowledge of the oral cavity and dental hygiene in general. First test was given to the children before presenting the educational software to them and the second one afterwards. Thanks to this approach it was possible to evaluate the progress the children made and subsequently the effectivity of the educational software.

The essay explains the methods of education in leisure activities in terms of educational objectives. In practical part of the essay the author uses his own experience in organizing the gallery education in leisure activities. He describes his project, realization and evaluation of the educational programme.

From secular treasures to the sacred ones. Educational programme in the courses "Life and Art" for 5-8th grades of church affiliated school. Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture and art in the Tabor Urban Conservation Area.

The diploma thesis aspires, in its theoretical part, for a description of the theoretical and methodical basis and objectives of the educational process in the courses "Life and Art. " This school subject shall provide pupils of 58th grades in primary school with a basic cultural overview of medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture and art. The theses defines the concepts of animation, cultural animation and enculturation, experiential education, creative education and artefiletics, and outlines the prospects of their use in the educational process. The thesis also deals with the theory of perception in art and its connection to the pedagogical practice. It mentions the term genius loci as one of the elements of cognition of an architectural object and the place where it is located. In the practical part of the thesis, the individual architectural object of the Tabor Urban Conservation Area and it's immediate neighborhood are described. The thesis provides cultural, general and local historical, and also the theological context of art styles and places, which are the subject of the educational program. Following that, the thesis introduces examples of didactic methods, applicable in the courses "Life and Art."

Health Education in Adequate Psysical Exercise Regimen for Women in Menopause

In today's society youth, beauty and performance are considered to be the most important. At the same time, a modern woman spends up to one third of her life with a lack of sex hormones. Menopause brings a number of changes in both physical and psychological ways. This involution process is irreversible, however health education through an educational programme of comprehensive approach of Pilates can help these women to ease acceptance of this life phase. For this work I used DVD materials I've already developed for my previous work Pilates Method for the Senior Population and I also created a new challenging educational programme. Edukační program zaměřený na prevenci výskytu zubního kazu u dětí předškolního věku.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a suggestion, application and verification of dental educational program like a preventiv of tooth decay occurrence in pre-school agend children. The theoretical part dealts with the ontogeny of childhood with conjunction with temporary and permanent dentition. In the following chapters are described problems of dental decays and its progression, which is directly influenced by good nutrition and especially right dental hygiene. The part of the theoretical part is also characteristic of dental examination, including a specification of indices, which are used in Cariology. In the final chapters is described a problem of creation the educational program that respects the teaching principles and forms of education including the use appropriate techniques of teaching and tools. In the methodology are defined achievements and tasks of work and research requirement. Own metodology of work characterize research data, including the organization of the research. In research participated a total of 22 pre-school children in the range of age 4-6 years. Based on the application of the dental educational program and the analysis of the data showed a positive effect on reducing the value of KPE index. The results point to a suitably chosen dental educational program that point on need for systemic concept of intensive programs of oral health support in kindergardens.

Adequate Exercise Regime for Seniors Using Pilates Methods

The demographic composition of the population is currently changing. The amount of economically inactive inhabitants is increasing, especially the older them 60. An aging population is not only the economic-social problem, its also the issue of society?s attitude as a whole towards these individuals. The involutional process is irreversible, but it is important to support senior?s activities toward encouragement more active lifestyle. To build up a comprehensive fitness of aging population, we can use many different strategies to help us with fulfilling the needs of seniors. One of the possible ways is to use Pilates Method for seniors. Exercising seniors into three groups according to their abilities and skills and I developed for them an exercising scheme. The practical part includes elaborated individual exercises in different options according to each participants personal capabilities. This whole scheme is also presented in a picture and sound on tutorial DVD. In the research part I studied the influence of regular Pilates Method exercise at each of the seniors groups.
