Project of Changes in the Management of the Purchasing Process

The master's thesis deals with the purchasing process of network trade within its information system. The thesis focuses in more detail on the individual purchasing activities that take place in the purchasing process. The aim of the analysis of these activities is to find critical points and propose appropriate improvements. The submitted proposals and changes in the information system contribute to streamlining the purchasing process and ultimately to effective management of supplier-customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
Standardization of Purchasing Activities in Connection With the Production Process

Dissertation focuses on standardization processes of purchase in relation to the production of the company XYZ s.r.o. The dissertation has three parts. The first one is theoretical knowledge of the purchasing process and supplier selection. The second is about a description of the company and analysis of the current state in purchase. In the third part is proposed appropriate measure to improve the purchasing process and proposal for purchasing standards.
Automation of purchasing processes

This research paper addresses the concept of automation within the context of direct procurement. It firstly aims to determine the theoretical extent to which it is possible to automate procurement processes and secondly, it aims to simulate the automation of specific processes in real business environment. The theoretical extent was determined via possible scenarios which automation could evolve into. The simulated automation was described on three distinct process steps and followed by quantitative and qualitative evaluation. Areas for significant savings were identified. The main contribution of this paper lies in specifying the maximum costs the business should pay for automating the three process steps.
Study of the Procurement Function in the Production Company

The bachelor´s thesis focuses on the study of purchasing functions in the company Tubapack, Inc., concerning the production of aluminum and plastic tubes. The theoretical part defines the basic characteristics of buying, purchasing process, purchasing management and purchasing strategy. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the current status of the purchase function in selected enterprises and suggestions for improvement of the function.

This thesis analyses the purchasing process of a specific product from abroad. This thesis is focused on the specifics of intruder alarm system. The theoretical part is focused on describing the standard purchase and purchasing process. The practical part applies the standard purchase process on the purchase of intruder alarm system from abroad. Then the differences compared to standard purchase process and the risks are analyzed. Thanks to the aforementioned analysis, it is possible to define an ideal purchase process for this specific type of product.

Supplier resource management by using SAP SRM

This diploma thesis is concerned with the issue of supplier resource management by using SAP SRM information system. Main goal is the adjudication if it is important to spend company's resources for optimization of shopping proces and if there exists some return of these resources. All at once this thesis is showing principles, SAP SRM's functions including benefits gained by the implementation and the system using. The practical part analyses the shopping process in ABB Group. Author compares a foregoing solution for an indirect spend management with SAP SRM solution. There was a necessary need to adjust company's processes when the new solution, that was implemented. These changes are modeled later on in this thesis and compared with each other. Added advantages achieved upon the foregoing solution are described as well.
How do differences between roles of men and women influence consumer behavior

The main aim of this thesis is to observe dissimilarities between men and women. My survey is focused on differences among men and women especially in areas of perception of media, spending of free time, relation to some kinds of products and overall position of the men and women in the society. Methods that are used in this thesis are analysis of MML-TGI data, content analysis of television advertisings and interview. Results of all the three methods are summarized and evaluated in the end.
