This thesis deals with realization of process analysis of department of management and real estate managnement of a supermarket company. The goal of this work, addressed in the practical part, is to map the processes in terms of business process diagrams with description of these processes, identify potential inconsistencies and eventually recommend a revision of current documents. The theoretical part explains the concepts of process management, process, process analysis and procedure of mapping process. There are also described and evaluated basic methods and standards for process modeling.
Process analysis of the financial department and its optimalization

My work is focused on the analysis and optimization of processes in the financial depart-ment SJL, join-stock company. In the first part of my work there are mentioned processes of this company in a theory, there is briefly mentioned methodology ARIS modeling tool for business process analysis ARIS Express. Subsequently the company and its financial department is described. The following chapter is about analysis of processes chosen. Finally each of the process is evaluated and there are some changes suggested. To analyse and evaluate chosen processes is a target of my work. The question is if the current system is prepared for a bigger amount of contracts expected and more work presumed for example accepting and issuing of invoices. Presented proposals of changes for the financial director which will increase the efficiency of the financial department there is the contribution of my work
Information System usage analysis in the sales controlling department of enegry company

This thesis covers the process analysis in sales controlling department of an energy company from the point of view of effectiveness of information system support. Based on this analysis is provided evaluation of the system implementation. According to the importance of the practical part of the thesis, it is not divided from the theoretical part, but it penetrates the theory withint the whole thesis. the main scope of controlling and information system is first introduced in the beginning of the thesis, followed by the process description and its analysis. Conclusion includes all essential findings and evaluation of premilinary hypotesis.
Decision-making on IT Investment

This thesis focuses on the decision-making on IT investment. The main aim of this work is to present the comprehensive picture of the efficient investing which is further extended by the analysis of possibility of using the services of consulting company when deciding on investments in enterprise informatics. The reader is acquainted with the main areas of investment decision-making and planning. Attention is devoted to the topic of information strategy, costs and effects of enterprise IT. The thesis further continues with the detailed analysis and evaluation of methods of investment decision-making. Subsequently, the model processes typical for enterprise informatics are introduced. The analytical part presents the possibility of using services of external specialists. The advantages and principles of cooperation between the customer and consulting firm are illustrated on a detailed analysis of the processes of Logio Ltd., which is consulting firm where author of the thesis worked as an intern. Many conclusions can be immediately applied in practice. The work can be beneficial for organizations considering investments in enterprise informatics and especially for those managements of corporations that are contemplating the utilisation of consulting companies.
The Requirements Analysis for IS Supporting the Nonprofit sector organizations

The nonprofit sector in Czech Republic grows slowly and in many key aspects significantly lags behind western countries. In fact, to find a feasible way to growth is actually far from being easy. Nonprofits, frequently encountering problems with self-presentation and communication with supporters, fail to establish transparency and credibility among public, which is connected to considerably low sum of financial donations supporting nonprofit causes and low public interest in volunteering as well. An aim of this thesis is to proceed with an analysis of a problem domain and to design a solution which lies in founding a platform organization, which would be able to offer IT supported services allowing the nonprofits to overcome aforementioned difficulties.
Process analysis of the ECDL concept

The thesis focuses on the process analysis of the ECDL concept, the so-called driver's license for a computer. The theoretical section provides the definition of the terms "process" and "process analysis", and describes the standards for process modelling and the methods for evaluating the effectiveness of processes. The theoretical section concludes with a description and comparison of the four options for testing computer skills in the Czech Republic - Microsoft Office Specialist, Atom, Prometric, ECDL. The practical section describes and graphically demonstrates the selected processes (Registration, Testing, Evaluation) and evaluates the effectiveness and financial demands of the ECDL concept processes. In its conclusion the practical section evaluates the feasibility of implementation of the proposed changes.
Process analysis in the public sector

Thesis focuses on the theory and practice of process analysis. The main objective of this paper is describing the theory of process analysis and its application at the Prague City Hall, particularly processes related to procurement. Thesis describes these processes and suggests their improvements. Thesis will also design the processes that relate to the procurement of City Hall. The work is divided into two parts. The first part deals with a purely theoretical basis of process analysis and the second (analytical) part is focused on the specific application of this knowledge on process analysis of the Prague City Hall, specifically on the processes related to procurement.
Service company process optimalization

The theme of the diploma thesis deals with the description and improvement of business process inside of the service company. The Goal is to formalize current state of business processes in the Czech division of international hardware producer and provide overall view on the processes for the company management. In the first section there is a company profile described by organisation chart, strategy, SWOT analysis and brief description of the internal information system. The middle part contains descriptive tables and Event-driven process chains of three main processes and their subprocesses. In the all processes there are identified few weaknesses that are the base for the last section. The final part suggests specific improvements to the weaknesses. It is author's proposals for solving difficulties inside of the processes. In conclusion all of the plans are grouped by every single role in the process.
Process analysis of selling electronic magazines online

This work is focused on business process modeling and subsequent use in, how it works selling electronic magazines online. In the theoretical section describes possible options for modeling languages, then selected BPM notation and described in detail. The second section describes the technologies used to support sales of electronic magazines. In this work an example is Skimagazin magazine. In the final phase of work are given individual detailed models of how the sale works in practice. The models are mainly focused on describing how to communicate with each individual system elements and users or administrators. Due to the large degree of detail models are listed here only the main models for the functioning of online sales. At the end structure of data objects is described.
Process analysis of a subsidy program

This Master's thesis is concerned with the process analysis of a subsidy program of a governmental institution. The main objective of this dissertation is to describe and analyze the process of a program cycle as a whole as well as its individual sub-processes. The study also elaborates on the information system (IS) utilized, in the context of subsidy management, by relevant governmental institutions. Finally, hierarchies of these IS will be illustrated and future prospects for their integration will be pondered. The dissertation's main contribution to knowledge is the final assessment of the whole process along with a proposal for its enhancement. The study is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, while procedural issue is analyzed in the first part, the subsequent section focuses on the phenomenon of subsidies itself, their common attributes and in what ways do the subsidies discussed in this study differ from other subsidies. The subsidy program is described, in line with the approved documentation, and the official objectives defined. The subsidy program under consideration is administered by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and, therefore, the dissertation includes a schematic diagram depicting the organizational structure of this governmental institution as well as the relevant Department of Budget in order to provide a better understanding of the complex processes involved. The empirical part then analyzes a particular subsidy program and its sub-programs. Finally, the dissertation assesses the whole process and proposes possible ways for its enhancement.
