Analysis of the Regional School System Financing (the Financing of Schools Established by Regions, Municipalities, or Associations of Municipalities) in Accordance with Applicable Regulations and the Method Proposed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports

The thesis deals with the issues of financing the regional school system (schools established by regions, municipalities or associations of municipalities) in all regions of the Czech Republic from the state budget with respect to particular types of schools (kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools) and in accordance with applicable regulations and the ways proposed by the Ministry of Education. It also mentions potential future prospects. The thesis is based on the conclusions of Educational Policy Strategy of the Czech Republic till 2020, which prefers stability and greater predictability in financing the education policy. The thesis compares the regional per capita amounts for individual types of schools, calculated according to the current method of financing, with the Conceptual Reform Plan for Financing the Regional Education System, issued by the Ministry of Education in 2011. The aim of the thesis is to decide (through the analysis and critical evaluation of the results obtained) which funding system appears to be preferable and fairer for particular types of schools. The results of the research could potentially be used for making comparisons with the newly prepared reforms of financing the regional education system.
Specific conditions for the development of regional education in the City of Prague and in the Central Bohemia Region

1 ABSTRACT This final thesis is focused on the description of the specific conditions of the current development of regional education in Prague and the Central Bohemia Region. This is particularly true in relation to the use and creation of basic conceptual documents (long- term Plan for Education and the Educational System in the City of Prague and Central Bohemia Region) and other policy materials created for specific regional education in the City of Prague and Central Bohemia Region. The aim of this final thesis is to describe the specific fundamental conditions for the development of regional education in each region, the specific shared conditions of City of Prague and Central Bohemia Region. The final thesis also describes the current functioning of regional education in terms of financing, legislation and some decision-making responsibilities of local governments - municipalities and regions. The aim of this thesis is also to find common requirements and recommendations of a shared approach to solving problems in regional education in the City of Prague and Central Bohemia Region. Internet Marketing in Czech regional education

The work deals with the possibilities of using internet marketing in the management of the schools involved in the regional system of Czech education. Based on searches of domestic and foreign literature and personal experience, the author explains and assesses how resources can be used for internet marketing activities and how to measure the results of such action. The work is complemented by research that answers the question of how school internet marketing resources currently actually use.
Teachers' attitudes to the curriculum reform

The thesis deals with teachers' attitudes to changes in the education and the curriculum reform of regional education system in the Czech Republic. The curriculum reform is a significant change for the education policy and the teachers' attitudes are important for the reform implementation. The methodology is based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Theoretical basis are the theories about teachers' beliefs and attitudes and a belief system according to Paul A. Sabatier. The teachers' approach to the reform is defined as their acceptance of the reform and the extent of their activities in the reform. The teachers' acceptance of the reform is formulated in two dimensions. The first one is teachers' acceptance of the reform objectives. The other one is teachers' acceptance of the new teacher role as a co-creator of the curriculum. The teachers' attitudes appear to be mainly problematic in the second category which deals to formalism of the reform. As main reasons of teachers' disagreement on the reform were identified the problems in the reform implementation phase, teachers' ideological opposition to the reform, inadequate explanation of the reform meaning by central authorities, which leads to a misunderstanding of the reform objectives by teachers, and an implementation of the reform...
The high school financing in the Czech Republic- Case study

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the ways of financing the high schools in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part describes each part of education system. It is also concentrated on regional education including history and legal forms of high schools. In the second part, there are ways of funding explained. The last part introduces selected high school, which is GSOŠ Klášterec nad Ohří. This part refers to history and economy of the school. Finally, there are recommendations given.
Financing elementary schools - comparison of two primary schools in the South Region

This work is focused on school funding system in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is devoted to the financing of regional education. Mainly describes the rules and system. Subsequently, analyzes performance and program funding. It focuses particularly on financing primary schools, the creation of budget funds and annual reports. The practical part of the work focuses on the analysis of the financing and management of two specific primary schools - elementary and nursery school and camp and nursery Jistebnice. On this basis, then made their comparisons and suggestions for potential improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency of schools.
Optimization of elementary school financing in a small village

This bachelor thesis deals with elementrary school financing. First part generaly deals with educational system in Czech Republic and methodology of elementary school financing. Second part is focused on elementary school in Choustník. At first, we watch the trend in pupil quantity and its impact on the school. Then we focus on alternative solutions of current situation. Mainly we talk about various economy measures or alternative sources of financing, because the school is dealing with serious financial issues. Both measures that have been already applied and measures that could help in the future are discused. Finally alternative school arrangements are described. Those would have to be used if the founder was unable to finance the school.

Principle of financing and remuneration of school organizations is the purport of theoretical part of the work. Practical part is specialized on salary sphere mapping of school organizations in South Bohemian Region during next five years and its comparison with one another and with average data reached in the Czech Republic. Research of kindergarten teachers? salaries and imaginary kindergarten remuneration system project is a part of the work.
Financing of the regional educational system

My bachelor thesis is based on the analyzing of financing of the educational system in the Czech republic. It focuses on the area of the regional educational system and the system of redistributing financal sources by the Ministry of education, youth and sports. In the practical part I analysed the way of financing of one particular school. The school I chose is primary school "Základní škola Závodí" in Beroun. I focused on the years 2007-2009. The main attention is given to the structure of resources and proportion between money paid by institutors and money provided by the state. In the last part of my thesis I came up with my own ideas of improving managment of the school emphasising the possibility of getting money from the funds of the European Union.
Taxation in the regional education system in the Czech Republic

The subjeckt of the thesis is the taxation in the regional educational system. The aim of the thesis is to make the overall insight of the taxation of the schools in the Czech Republic give an example of a school. The chosen school is Gymnasium Nymburk. In the thesis there are described different types of taxes and areas which are touched by the taxation in the school system. There are underline differences between corporate sector and schools. All information as well as the information concerning the sample school mentioned in the thesis is related to the tax low from 2008.
