Methodical support to creation of educational media

This thesis deals with possibilites and usage of "new media" in the educational process. The aim of this thesis is to describe the possibilities and refer to basic recommendations for the effective creation and usage. The thesis contains a description of digital educational presentations, application of audio, video and didactical computer applications and games. Every part presents an example of suitable software and its application. The thesis describes also present trends of used technologies and future expectations. At the end of the thesis, there is an analysis of present situation and suggested solution for the small primary school.
The influence of news service on the public opinion: The case study broadcast 168 hours

The thesis deals with a concept of public opinion in connection with the influece of media. It follows the genre of news service, as a key part of media that are within the reach of social and political actio in the future. The first part presents the teoretical basics of news service and its components. The important definition of the candour criteria and also the normative requirements of news service in democratic regimes that form the media in the role of democracy keeper and define the other function for the sociaty as well, are to be found in the first section of the thesis. The analytical part concentraces on the case of broadcast 168 hours that represents an overview of a the week's course of events. The analysis emplasizes the work towards emotional influence on the viewer and finds coherence between the influence of the broadcast and the viewer's social and political awareness. The goal of the thesis is to discuss the consequences of such a specific kind of news broadcast as the 168 hours on the public opinion and the connection with the viewers and their future social and political life that can be represented and seen also throughout the election.
The importance of body image marketing

Thesis depicts concept of body image, its evolution in time and the influence of media on people's self-concept and self-evaluation. The practical part is focused on content analysis of front-pages of specific magazine in given time period. Independent chapter concerns with analysis of consumers via data from MML-TGI database.
The Role of the Media in Propagating Creative Culture: The Sazavafest Music Festival

This Bachelor Paper, entitled "The Role of the Media in Propagating Creative Culture: The Sazavafest Music Festival", deals with the issue of media and media communication. The theoretical part of the paper defines the basic terms such as media and communication and briefly explains their development. Predominantly, however, the paper deals with propagation as one of the forms of media communication. The main principles of successful propagation and its tools are then applied in the practical part of the paper, which focuses on analysing the specific media campaign of the SazavaFest festival. The analysis is made chronologically, from the preparation stage until its evaluation and assessment. The paper does not fail to determine the main target groups of the festival and the aims of the campaign in general. The paper concludes with the formulation of the author's own proposals for increasing the effectivity of the entire media campaign.
News channel Z1: Changes in the concept in order to streamline business

This bachelor thesis describes restructuralization of new digital television channel Z1, which began to broadcast in 2008 and was already during first months of its activity on the Czech media market stricken by problems. Those required stern steps in terms of business rebuilding and recovery. The first part of the thesis focuses on review and comparison of the Czech television news channels. It also mentions causes and solutions of the crisis. The second part illustrates implementation of restructuralization measures in order to streamline business of private news channel Z1, which, thanks to its rebulding, managed for now to overcome period of crisis.
The analysis of irregular events

The theme of the thesis is to explore various information regarding incidents. It is about the Russian-Georgian war that took place in August 2008. Firstly, there will be defined terms such as information, information society, concept of disinformation and when it may occur. There will be quoted Russian, American and European mass media, from which most of the information were drown. Then, thesis will be dealing with the issue of war between Georgia and Russia. In conclusion, there will be solved the problem of misinformation. The aim of this work is to explore the information, analyse them and ascertain the truth.

This work is about media influence on people's life and behavior in the period of financial crisis. The purpose of this work is to find out what media products do effect people's psyche and behavior, why person doesn't want to avoid media activity and what we could expect in the future after this crisis. In theoretical part of this work I am trying to explain basic problems of mass media processing and its role in the society using such examples as news, advertising and propaganda. In the practical part I want to prove the truth of hypotheses, which were observed in the theoretical part.
Development and analysis of online news on the Czech market

A traditional printed newspaper is being replaced by an online one. This is one of the reasons why I in this thesis focus just on internet journalism. The online journalism servers I present in a relation to other periodicals -- newspapers, broadcast and television. The thesis describes and analyses main development trends in the Czech media market. It puts an emphasis on economic sections of general news and it also compares these sections with specialized economic servers. An important part of the thesis is focused on an analysis of reader's attendance which results in a rank of the most popular news servers. The model of the time series analysis is set up for two websites and it predicts future development trend in the number of real users of online news. The aim of this thesis is to provide a general view on the contemporary situation and also to describe the developmental tendency of online reporting. The result of the dissertation is the prediction of future development trend of online reporting servers.
The development of economic behavior in terms of changes in value preferences

The aim of this thesis is to obtain comprehensive results for the population of the Czech Republic in the field of human values, value preferences and value charts by using results from conducted research and data from previous studies. Also an important objective of this thesis is to show the economic behavior of people in the Czech Republic at the time of the financial and economic crisis. As a theoretical basis for the practical part, three major, interrelated areas have been selected: economic behavior, focused on principles of individual decision-making and on media and their possible impact on the economy; life values; and economic development as a source of changes in economic behavior in terms of development on the labour market, development of education and development of ecology. Empirical part, which is called Research - changes in value preferences, is at first focused on the formulation of hypotheses, which relate to the issue, and on the creation of the questionnaire. The analysis and the interpretation of results can be considered as a pivotal chapter of the practical part of this thesis.It is divided into several sub-chapters according to the examined area.

Practical part describes television market in the Czech Republic and analyzes and compares marketing strategies of individual TV stations. The last chapter highlights current trends in respect of television market.
