Designing mass modification of client contact records and theirs consolidation within financial institution
Převrátil, Martin ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Jeřábek, František (referee)
This master thesis deals with management request towards informatics department within front company that provides wide range of financial services. Demand refers to client contact data, particularly correspondence addresses and calls for possibility to mass change such records. There are several relatively separated tasks which need to be discussed in order to fulfill the request. First part introduces the company and analyze current situation. Then continue by describing correspondence addresses issue and supports with reasons for the inevitable change. Company's information system architecture is outlined with emphasis on central database that is being formed. This part also further describes options how data can be stored. Middle part contains reason--based choice where correspondence records should be maintained in company's data architecture. Implementation plan with chosen storage pattern is formed here and connected changes in system are highlighted. As a last processes connected to correspondence addresses mass modification are described and drawn with selected notation. After that user graphic interface is designed as a place where the self request will be served.

The French UMP and its Internal Structure
Vlková, Michaela ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Říchová, Blanka (referee)
The creation of the UMP, as the "Union pour la Majorité Présidentielle", after the first round of the presidential election in 2002, began a new cycle for the French Right. It can be characterized as the refoundation of a party by merger. The merger proceeded from a long- established system of cooperation among parties at the legislative level. The main constitutive components of the new party were namely the conservative RPR (Rassemblement pour la République), the centre-right UDF (Union pour la Démocratie Française) and a former part of the UDF - DL (Démocratie Libérale) - which became independent in 1998. The principal motivation for the modification of the form of cooperation was the restoration of Jacques Chirac's authority over both his political camp and and the institution of the presidency. The UMP won both - legislative and presidential elections and started to govern. The internal structure of the new party can be understood in different ways and be distiguished into different levels. Firstly, from the point of view directed to its main components - political parties that made up the UMP's base and also other parties and groups that cooperate with the new party. The UMP brought to the end (or at least modified) the system of electoral cooperation that used to exist on the Right for more than two...

Development of the Czech form of the Patterns of Adaptive Learning Scales (PALS)
KOVÁČOVÁ, Klára
The undergraduate thesis explores validity of genuine Czech translation of PALS questionnaire in Czech environment. This method is built on Carol Dweck?s goal theory, which is described in theoretical part, also with basic background in the field of educational motivation. Research was conducted on the sample of 549 pupils in 8th and 9th grade and their results were compared with original research of Carol Midgley et al. (2000). Factor analysis and reliability analysis was done on used scales and it is obvious that simplification and language modification of items is needed, but still it appears from the results that this method distinguish goals correctly in Czech environment and it can be put into practice after further research.

The effect of x-ray tube voltage on the initial surface dose.
HYKA, Daniel
Relating to the adoption of the Law No.18/1997 of the Legal Code, the so called ?Atom Law? amended with the Law No. 13/2002 of the Legal Code, the radiation protection regulations were considerably toughen. According to the Paragraph 4 of the Law each subject executing operations resulting in radiation is obliged to ensure priority radiation protection. In addition, each subject is obliged to implement quality assurance system according to the Regulation No.214/1997 of the Legal Code and each subject authorized to handling sources of ionizing radiation is according to the Paragraph 18, Article I, Letter a) of the Atom Law also obliged to monitor the source of ionizing radiation by monitoring, measuring, evaluating and recording relevant figures. The Law No. 18/97 of the Legal Code also imposes the obligation to maintain such level of radiation protection that the life and health hazard and the environmental threats are as low as it is reasonably possible when economic and social views are taken into account. This optimization is attained with the implementation of the quality assurance program, which contains the long-term stability test. One of the steps leading to optimization and reduction of the ionizing radiation dose is correct selection of the load parameters of the X-ray machine. An important factor is the used voltage of the x-ray tube; it affects the input surface kerma, which is the fundamental information for the subsequent estimation of the effective dose. Changing this parameter can considerably effect, or decrease, the absorbed dose for the patients and the staff. Often such conditions arise which necessitate a voltage change, which on the other hand require a change in exposition (mAs or distance). However, we have to keep in mind that increased voltage together with adjusted exposition with the average density maintained the same; will result in lower image contrast, because the x-ray radiation produced with higher voltage reduces the subject contrast. The same applies vice versa, i.e. when voltage is decreased, subject contrast is increased. The objectives of the practical part of the thesis is to find out based on dosimetry measurement using a phantom, what is the effect of the voltage change on the x-ray tube on the increase or decrease of the radiation load on patients during skiagraphic procedures.

The first example focuses on the difference measurement and recognition of fixed assets in the event of distribution of payments for long-term assets into three payments at different times. The second example focuses on a comparison of intangible assets in the event that the technical improvements, along with licenses to use intangible assets.

Study of signal systems with special focus on the role of nitric oxide: gene expression, regulation and pharmacological modulation in hepatocytes and adipocytes
Kutinová Canová, Nikolina ; Farghali, Hassan (advisor) ; Červinková, Zuzana (referee) ; Martásek, Pavel (referee)
Nitric oxide (NO) is involved in surprising array of vital physiological and pathophysiological phenomena. The expression of nitric oxide synthases, endothelial (eNOS) and inducible (iNOS), was demonstrated in rat liver and white adipose tissue among others. Therefore, the goals of the present thesis were to provide in vitro data about NO in the liver and white adipose tissue and to assess: 1) the effects of selective immunosuppressive drugs, cyclosporin A (CsA) and tacrolimus (FK 506), and nonspecific and specific iNOS inhibitors on NO production and iNOS expression during endotoxemic insult using primary rat hepatocyte culture; 2) spontaneous NO production under various culture conditions with comparison of its influence on functional status of hepatocytes in conventional cell culture and in hepatocyte bioreactors; 3) effects of S-nitroso-N-acetyl penicillamine (SNAP), D- galactosamine (D-GalN), lipopolysaccharide (LPS), LPS+D-GalN and thapsigargin (TG), a selective inhibitor of a sarco-endoplasmic reticulum-Ca2+ -ATPase, on apoptotic/necrotic markers in relation to NO production; 4) the effect of LPS on lipolysis in relation to iNOS stimulation; and 5) the interplay between NO production and β3-adrenoreceptor (β3- AR)/cAMP pathway on lipolysis in rat epididymal adipocyte culture. We found that CsA, FK...
