Competence of a personnel officer

The competencies of the personnel officer have been researched many times recently. It is rather complicated to establish the competencies of professionals in the area of personnel procedure, it is necessary to consider type and size of the organization, where the l personnel officer acts, the organization's culture, strategy, position of the personnel manager, etc. The authorities and responsibility for decision making, concerning personnel consequences, are more and more deputed to the line executive staff. They have the decisive power during the selective procedure; they are responsible for performance rating and remuneration of the staff, they co-decide the leading of the career, etc. In this way the line executive staffs obtain responsibility not only for vocational activity, but also for the selective procedure. There is a movement from traditional, reactive and administrative role of the HR department to an active counselling role, where the elements of the traditional role of the HR department are deputed to the line managers. This thesis deals with the analysis and evaluation of quality, environmental, and security risks, hazards and application of appropriate methodology to a particular construction project. For an application is selected the key construction technology - walling. Diploma thesis establishes a framework for risk management on the basis of established integrated management system (IMS) defines the objectives and mechanisms in controlling adherence to standards, evaluation of business risks, defining risk management strategies, the draft risk management procedures, monitoring their functioning, assessing their performance and any improvement and support the process of supplying the required information.

This thesis focuses mainly on the analysis of marketing mix of hotel PANON, which offers accomodation in South Moravia in the town Hodonín in *** category in single, double and triple rooms as well as in apartments of different categories, catering services and a large number of additional services. The aim of this thesis is to make marketing mix of given hotel more efficient and thus ensure not only growth of existing number of guests, but also get new domestic and foreign guests, which will lead to growth of profit of the hotel PANON and strenghtening of its position in the tourism market.

The diploma thesis is covering questions of personnel marketing ( means problems of personnel branding and the recruitment process) of one of the biggest banking institution from the czech market in the time of comming recession. The thesis involve an aspect of marketing and a description of recruitment process. Also there is a description of main concequences of the financial crise to the labour market with the influences on the process of personnel marketing. Iintroducing of the organisation is followed by analysis of exact activities concerning personnel marketing, evaluation of these activities, which is based on studying of technical literature and companie's documentation. Finally there are some proposals to improve the quality of these processes.
