Předmětem diplomové práce je provést finanční analýzu v konkrétní společonsti a uvést návrhy na zlepšení její finanční situace. První část práce shrnuje teoretické poznatky v oblasti finační analýzy. Představení společnosti a její popis následuje v další kapitole. Ve třetí části práce jsou ziskané teoretivké vědomosti prakticky aplikovány. V závěru jsou zpracovány návrhy a doporučení směřující ke zlepšení finanční situace vybrané společnosti.

Pragmatic and didactic analysis of the topic of balance sheet for business academies

The bachelor thesis deals with the pragmatic and didactic analysis of the topic of balance sheet in the first concentric circle for business academies. Goal of the thesis is ascertainment level of knowledge of balance sheet of students of secondary, third and fourth class by anonymous tests in selected business academies. Main aim of the thesis was to create a teaching material for development of knowledge, which is based on results of the anonymous tests. Education of balance sheet should not be finished by teaching only related thematic unit, on the contrary, it should allow to be able to get back to it once necessary. Teaching material is created with the relevant idea. The balance sheet constitutes the core of accounting and for that reason balance sheet should be embodied in further thematic units. For students it is necessary to orientate in the balance sheet, to be able use the information and understand its meaning.

Financial analysis of the company

The subject of this thesis is the evaluation of the financial situation of a company with limited liability by financial analysis methods in the years 2008-2012 and then the comparison the indicators of financial analysis of the company with sectoral data. This work is drawn up from the perspective of the external user via publicly available financial statements. In the methodological part of the thesis there are on the basis of literature processed knowledge about financial analysis. In the practical part are the indicators of financial analysis applied to the financial statements of the company and further are compared the individual indicators of the company with the sectoral indicators of financial analysis. The output of the work is to valorize the results of the calculations of the individual indicators of financial analysis and subsequently possible recommendations for improving the financial situation of the company.

Posouzení finanční situace společnosti H. A. Kovochem spol. s r.o. a návrhy na její zlepšení

This study deals with the assessment of the financial health of the company H. A. Kovochem, spol. s r.o. in 2008-2012 using standard methods of financial analysis. The theoretical part describes the different methods of financial analysis. Specifically it is used differential and ratio indicators, followed by those with pyramidal decomposition of the profitability and financial distress prediction models. The practical part is focused on the application of these methods. At the end are identified possible problem areas, provided suggestions and recommendations that would lead to improvements in future years.

This work describes liquidity of specific Czech company in terms of its capital structure. In the theoretical part of this thesis is explained liquidity and its impact on company operations. The practical part of this thesis is oriented on analysis of liquidity and description of the current situation in the company. In the final part is described the current situation of the company. The end of this work is focused on comments and recommendations for improvement.

Pragmatic and didactic analysis of the topic of balance sheet in the first concentric circle

The present bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of company property and balance sheet in the first concentric circle. The theoretical part introduces the methods of teaching accounting, i.e. the legislative on which the methods are based - curriculum, didactic techniques as well as didactic rules. The practical part is devoted to the didactic analysis as such. Particular methods the teacher should use in the process of teaching company property and balance sheet are suggested and specific examples the teacher should introduce are presented. The final research part is focused on real life teaching accounting. Teachers were asked to answer questions related to the topic. The provided answers show which methods the teachers prefer, which techniques they employ and what kind of examples they consider useful. This part of the thesis examines whether the suggested didactic procedure coincides with the actual practice. The main aim of the thesis is to provide a didactic analysis that would be clear and understandable for those students who are encountering this topic for the first time.

Data Assimilation from Accounting Entity Statement in the Management of a Firm

The diploma thesis is about characteristic of financial statements (balance sheet, profit and lost statement, cash flow statement). Special emphasis will be placed on selected indicators that are used in business management. In the theoretical part will be described the statements and items from them, a part will be dedicated to financial analysis, especially to indicators, that can be used in business management. In the practical part will be at first the characteristic of company, in which was the diploma thesis processed. Further more it will be made the analysis of selected items, focusing on the consistency of items at least in the last three years and the results will be evaluated.
