Marketing strategy of the company working on the B2B market

This thesis deals with the analysis and discription of the marketing strategy of the company AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings, the largest paints and coatings company, focusing on development, production and distribution of various types of paints and coatings around the world. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. At the first one there are just general marketing statements, concerning marketing mix and marketing strategy, the other one is devoted to analysis and discription of the particular marketing strategy and market share of the company both from global and Czech point of view. The very important part also creats the independent research within using the AkzoNobel's coatings and paints by the selected Czech companies.

European Company

The main aim of European economic integration is to reach the common market of goods, services, persons and capital. To make this aim easier to realize in terms of free movement of capital, European Commission has created the statute of the European company (Societas Europaea, SE) as a new institute and corporate vehicle on the supranational level. The paper offers information about creation of the European company according to Comunitary and Czech national law and its corporate structure and mentions several concrete cases of company creation or transformation. The end of the study is dedicated to an analysis of the current usage of European company and advantages and disadvantages of this legal form of trading company together with a summary of current experience with the existence of European company and with the possible future of transnational companies within European Union.

Karlín in the Changes of Time

This work deals with the dynamically developing Prague district Karlín. It is conceived as a tour through this district while stopping at interesting places that come after the general introduction to the history of the district. The first stop is the Museum of Prague capital city. Then, the other steps are heading to other important historical as well as industrial constructions the most important of which are the Negrelli Viaduct, the Music Theatre, St. Charles Boromeus chapel, the St. Cyril and Metoděj church, the former Karlín Town Hall and industrial estates in the Křižíková, Thámová and Sokolovská street, the primary school in the Lyčkovo square, the National house, Invalides house, the new administrative buildings in the Rohan island or the Hilton hotel. While writing this thesis, I was largely inspired by the Czech TV programme "Šumná města" In compliance with the mentionned TV production, this work aims to become something more than a boring list of data. It is in fact a coordinated tour that focus on selected entities confronted with the march of time. Each chapter is prologued by verses that are to represent the real inside of what is going to be described. Backup and recovery of Oracle Database using Recovery Manager

The bachelor's thesis discusses the implementation of backup and recovery of Oracle database using Recovery Manager. There are described individual backup types available in Oracle database environment and recovery types. Author introduces the benefits of using Recovery Manager, as the main backup tool in comparison to other methods of performing backup / restore.The reader is acquaint with the results of tests of the possible backup types. The tested features are speed of backup operation, the availability of the database during the backup, the compression ratio and the speed of restore operation. Base on the comparison of these results is set the backup and recovery strategy for the database of two model companies.

Analysis of suitability of the application of process management in the company Auto Hégr, a.s.

The main target of this paper is to analyze suitability of the application of process management in the company Auto Hégr, a. s. This target also includes finding correct answers to the following questions: Is the use of process management a suitable tool that would improve the productivity of the whole enterprise or not? Is it suitable to undergo the whole process of changing the company Auto Hégr, a. s. towards process management? Would it not be more purposeful and efficient to take a different way of improvement? Is it not the best solution to make no change? The method used for achieving the main target of this paper is the analytical and synthetic cognitive procedure. The examined situation in the company Auto Hégr, a. s. is divided, in terms of thoughts, into the individual parts that are the subject of further examination. Deeper knowledge of the partial sections enables to get to know better the situation in the company Auto Hégr, a. s. as a whole. The author of this paper carried out the input analysis of change the output of which is the argumentative report including the decision that it is suitable to launch the project of the application of process management in the company Auto Hégr, a. s. Hereby the author performed all preliminary work that always must be carried out prior to the realization of the implementation project itself. The author summarized the main results of carrying out the input analysis of change at the end of this paper. This paper and its results are fully usable in practice of a specific enterprise, in this case of the company Auto Hégr, a. s. The correct application of process management in the company Auto Hégr, a. s. cannot be carried out without necessary documentation, i.e. the implementation project. Its first part is carrying out the input analysis of change that is completely covered in the practical part of this paper. As another suggestion for solving the given subject, the dealing with the other parts of the implementation project just presents itself. This procedure is completely logical and its following is one of the conditions of the correct application of process management in the company Auto Hégr, a. s. Only high-quality carrying out the pre-investment phase of realization of the implementation project will guarantee its overall high quality.

Options Fund for qualified investors

Práce se zabývá teorií investičního plánování a analýzou výhodnosti investování do nemovitostí prostřednictvím speciálních fondů kvalifikovaných investorů aplikovaných na vybranou firmu. Analyzuje ekonomickou podstatu těchto investic a otázky související s jejich výnosností a rizikem. V teoretické části je popsán proces investičního plánování projektu: jeho předinvestiční příprava i průběh realizace. Pro hodnocení efektivnosti investice jsou uvedeny vybrané ukazatele a metody měření efektivnosti. Nedílnou součástí investičního plánování je i zajištění financování, zde je uvažováno bankovní financování, jehož alternativou je právě fond kvalifikovaných investorů. V praktické části práce je popsány obchodní strategie vybrané firmy a její možná pozice na trhu rezidenčních nemovitostí. Jsou vyhodnoceny nejen finanční výkazy ale i výhodnost investování prostřednictvím fondu kvalifikovaných investorů. V této souvislosti jsou v práci zmíněna i nová pravidla nízké kapitalizace plynoucí z daňové reformy přijaté k 1. 1. 2008.

Komparativní analýza burz střední Evropy

Tématem této práce je komparativní analýza burz střední Evropy, tzn. Burzy cenných papírů Praha, a.s.; Burzy cenných papierov Bratislava; Gieldy papierów wartościowych ve Varšavě; Budapesti Értéktözsde v Budapešti a Wiener Börse ve Vídni. Záměrem bylo ucelené srovnání jednotlivých trhů zejména z pohledu realizace IPO a likvidity jednotlivých burz. Teoretická část popisuje obchodní systém a systém vypořádání obchodů. Při analýze trhu IPO ve střední Evropě jsem se zaměřil hlavně na faktory rozvinutosti jednotlivých trhů IPO a počtu realizovaných IPO na jednotlivých trzích. Analýza likvidity na středoevropských burzách je rozdělena na likviditu akciových částí burz a dluhopisových částí burz. Na jednotlivých trzích byl analyzován podíl pěti nejlikvidnějších emisí na celkovém objemu obchodů. Práce by měla poskytnout obraz konkurenční pozice českého burzovnictví v porovnání se středoevropskou konkurencí.

RF Power Amplifiers

This work deals with high-frequency power amplifiers. In the theoretical part are briefly summarized the general characteristics and properties of particular working classes of amplifiers focusing on their efficiency. The next section is aimed on design of high-frequency power amplifier for 1296MHz band and its individual components. In this part is desribed design of hybrid combiners - splitters, directional couplers of the coupled lines, amplifiers with RA18H1213G module and power amplifier with transistor BLV958. The work also includes the results of simulations of designed circuit, realization procedure and the measured parameters of manufactured components. In conclusion of this work the theoretical and measured values are compared.

Deflace a měnová politika (se zaměřením na deflaci na přelomu 20. a 21. století, zejména na Japonsko)

Tato práce pojednává o deflaci a přístupu k deflaci z pozice ekonomie hlavního proudu a rakouské ekonomické školy. Dále se zabývá hlavními deflačními obdobími v době fungování zlatého standardu a následně v období po jeho skončení. Hlavní zaměření je na deflaci v jednotlivých zemích v období na přelomu 20. a 21. stol., přičemž zvláštní pozornost je věnována deflaci v Japonsku. Práce analyzuje faktory deflace v Japonsku a možnost zapříčinění deflace měnovou politikou. Sestrojený index měnových podmínek neodhalil měnovou politiku jako faktor vzniku deflace, hlavní důvody jsou spatřovány ve strukturálních problémech Japonska. V poslední řadě práce odlišuje pojmy deflace a změna relativních cen a zabývá se otázkou adekvátní měnové politiky.

The male and female identity in contemporary society with focus on advertising

This thesis deals with male and female identity in contemporary society, with narrower focus on its presentation in television commercials. The aim of the work is the realization of content analysis, aiming at depicting the characters of men and women in television commercials. Theoretical part of the thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter describes the general theoretical basis of this thesis. The second and third chapter deals with the specifics of male and female identity. The fourth chapter describes the research method of content analysis and presents the objectives and research hypotheses. The analytical part of the work examines the representation of men and women in television commercials at two levels - at the level of main characters, and at the level of commercials. The final part of the analytical part interprets the research results of analysis.
