Educational programs in the www enviroment
Revenda, Václav ; Procházka, Josef (advisor) ; Brdička, Bořivoj (referee)
TITLE: Educational programs in the www enviroment ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to analyze the availability of educational web site aimed at teaching media and evaluate them on the basis of a given set of criteria and to moni- tor the situation in secondary schools in terms of the use of tutorials on the web. Sub- sequently, a methodology of the previous educational sites is developed. It is also deployed in the teaching and verified in the practice, thus obtaining feedback, which will serve to further develop this environment. KEYS WORDS: sound, image, video interactivity, multimedia feedback, mobility, language, complexity
Level of employment of secondary school graduates on the labor market of Liberec region
Schubert, Jan ; Kuchař, Pavel (advisor) ; Úlovcová, Helena (referee)
Level of employment of secondary school graduates on the labour market of Liberec region The diploma thesis "Level of employment of secondary school graduates on the labour market of Liberec region" focuses on tree major factors influencing the level of employment of graduates. First is the role of vocational education in the educational system. The thesis tests two hypotheses. First considers vocational education to be superior to general education since graduates learn great deal of hard skills, which they can directly apply while applying for a job. Second hypotheses considers vocational education to be inferior to general education since what the graduates learn during their study does not reflect the needs of employers and they thus prefer the information about the level of education (general education). Second major factor this diploma thesis deals with is the role of social networks in finding first job. The thesis analyses the effectiveness of the social networks on the site of graduates and also on the site of employers. Third factor is the dynamics of the early working stage of graduates and the influence of social and economical forces on regional labour market. The thesis analyses data on the dynamics of employment of graduates in the Czech Republic and especially in the Liberec region.
Travel Behaviour of the Prague Suburb Population
Pergl, Ondřej ; Novák, Jakub (advisor) ; Marada, Miroslav (referee)
Travel behavior of Prague suburb population Abstract The hinterland of Prague is formed by the process of suburbanization, which influences the spatial structure of whole region. Changed spatial structure puts greater demand on the mobility of the population. The main aim of this work is the research of travel behavior of the Prague suburb population, who makes his movements primarily by the car. The work focuses on the factors influencing travel behavior, which are discussed in theoretical section. The next section discusses the measures against individual transport. The empirical part presents the results of survey in Prague southeast hinterland. Travel behavior is examined in terms of modal split and trip purpose. Further investagation is focused on citizens' satisfaction with the traffic situation in their municipality and reveals their sensitivity to various measures against car use. Key words: mobility, travel behavior, suburbanization, car use limiting, Prague
Speciation Analysis of Mercury concentrated on Selective and Sequential Extraction
Martinovský, Václav ; Mihaljevič, Martin (advisor) ; Holý, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with methods of speciation analysis of mercury concentrated to selective and sequential extraction of mercury. The first part contains the basic information about characteristics, sources of pollution, toxicity and cycle of mercury in environment. The following part defined term of speciation and speciation analysis. Next chapters are concentrated to description and characterization appropriate and often used extraction reagents and procedures and schemes of selective and sequential extraction methods of speciation analysis. Specific procedures of SEA are described in this thesis and mentioned are their major advantages nad purphose. The last chapter is devoted to listing methods of instrumentation useful to determination of extractable forms of mercury.
Deposition and mobility of Pb in floodplain of Morava River in Strážnice area
Gemeinerová, Veronika ; Grygar, Tomáš Matys (advisor) ; Hruška, Jakub (referee)
This work was focused on geochemical methods and analyses which were used for lithologic and facial description of floodplain sedimentary records and also for determination of depth dependence of Pb concentration and evaluation of possible mobility of Pb in six profiles, which were taken across the floodplain in two locations in the southern part of Morava River in study area called Strážnické Pomoraví. The aim was to confirm the stability of concentration of Pb in upper parts of all six profiles. Performing these analyses, a possible migration of Pb in lower parts of some profiles has unexpectedly been revealed. For better facial description of the profiles in floodplain fines, proxy methods such as cation exchange capacity (CEC), elementary analysis using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (EDXRF) and also determination of content of magnetic particles using magnetic susceptibility in depth profiles were used. The results of these proxy methods were confirmed by conventionally used geochemical methods - BCR sequential extraction, elementary analysis with determination of Pb isotope ratios using ICP MS, and granulometric analysis.
International Study Exchange Programme as a Form of Student Mobility
Králová, Dana ; Fialová, Dana (referee) ; Vágner, Jiří (advisor)
International Study Exchange Programmes as a Form of Student Mobility Abstract Czech students have been only little surveyed as a mobile population so far, despite the increasing importance of student mobility in the contemporary globalised world. This thesis examines student mobility on the example of Czech students from geographical departments of Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Science, who joined the Erasmus exchange programme as a part of their studies in the past five years (2005-2010). This study aims to analyze the directions and intensity of Erasmus student flows and motivation of students to take part in the student exchange programme. One of the main goals is also to measure the influence of the Erasmus study exchange on the potential international mobility of students. A multi-method approach is used in this case study, including questionnaire surveys among mobile students, interviews with Erasmus coordinators and a statistical analysis of existing data sources (especially the statistics of the geographical departments and the database of Czech National Agency for European Educational Programmes). The results show that the motivation to student mobility is influenced by many factors. The questionnaire data reveal a major importance of language and life experience as motivational...
Identifying progressive trends in urban transport in Liberec, Brno, Plzen, Ostrava and Bratislava
Weissova, Zuzana ; Damborský, Milan (advisor) ; Hoffman, Andrej (referee)
In theoretical part concept of Smart Cities and urban mass transportation is introduced. Analysis starts with city s approach to strategic documents in transportation (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans) and their performing in compliance with Smart City concept. Integration of urban transport to integrated transport system is also analysed. Next part describes innovations which are useful for passengers and electronic ticketing systems. Goal is to identify these innovative trends and benchmark success in their introduction in chosen cities. Sources are both public (strategic documents, annual reports) and internal (data from companies).
Testing Mobility of Children of Primary School Age and its Evaluation
Brantová, Tereza ; Nováková, Marie (referee) ; Kysel, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is to test mobility of children of primary school age, evaluate results and then suggest my own solution, which leads to optimal health of children. Based on the information obtained in this work I will create a design of sports activities operated at a primary school. The proposal will also determine the price using the costing and price of competition.
Experimental MANET network in NS-3 simulator
Vadkerti, Gabriel ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartl, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of MANET networks. It presents routing protocols, their types, advantages and disadvantages. The protocols, such as AODV and OSPF, are analyzed in detail. The next section describes the NS-3 simulator and the meaning of its key codes. There are named and explained the most common mobility models and their correct writing into the source code. A MANET network simulation is created and a program for indicating the routes of packets through the network is introduced. The next describes traffic models for data networks. A simple traffic model for NS-3 and a program for graphic representation of this traffic were created. The DCE module for NS-3 is introduced in the last section and a demonstrational program of using Linux stack is created.
