Evaluation of chat bots
Hazdra, Jan ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Čermák, Radim (referee)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of theability of machines to imitate human behavior. Presents a brief history of the development on the field of artificial intelligence and intelligent machines, specifically chat botsand describes their evolution throughout the 20th century. It describes the most important features and building blocks of chat bots, including the most widely used programming languages for creating them.It also describes the theory of A. Turing, the test and the imitation game, on which is based methodology for evaluating chat bots. Then it also examines the criticism of the Turing's test by J. R. Searle's chinese room argument that is used for its better understanding and finding its boundaries. The work also describes H. Dreyfus's assumptions, which led to optimism in the late 90s in development in artificial intelligence and limits of artificial intelligence, on which he pointed out. The main objective is the metodology proposed in the second part, which is used for comparing selected chat bots and then used for their evaluation. Overall evaluation consists of evaluations in the sub-categories in which will be individual chat bots scored. The methodology is based on the Turing test, which slightly modifies, but also extends thanks to the ideas of other authors.

Spr0334, new protein of cell division in Streptococcus pneumoniae.
Štekerová, Nela ; Doubravová, Linda (advisor) ; Konopásek, Ivo (referee)
Spr0334, new protein of cell division in Streptococcus pneumoniae Streptococcus pneumoniae is an important human pathogen. The geonome of this bacteria encodes a single gene for eukaryotic-like serine / threonine protein kinase called StkP. StkP regulates many physiological processes such as pathogenesis, competence for genetic transformation, resistance to various stresses and resistance to antibiotics. It also affects the transcription of many genes involved in cell wall biosynthesis, pyrimidine metabolism, DNA repair and iron uptake. Recent studies have shown that StkP is located in the cell division septum and significantly regulates cell division and morphology. Its substrates include, among others, cell division protein DivIVA, FtsZ and FtsA. Analysis of phosphoproteome maps of wild type and ΔstkP mutant strain of S. pneumoniae showed that in vivo StkP phosphorylates several putative substrates including the protein Spr0334. Mass spectrometry analysis identified phosphorylation sites of the protein Spr0334: threonine 67 and threonine 78. Furthermore, it was found that the protein Spr0334 is located in the cell division septum, which led to the hypothesis that it could be newly identified cell division protein in S. pneumoniae. The main aim of this thesis was to describe the function of the...

International trade with fresh fruit and vegetables
Laketić, Aleksandar ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Halík, Jaroslav (referee)
The main goal of my Master´s thesis is to evaluate dynamic environment of international trade with fresh fruit and vegetables. In the first part of my thesis I analyzed importance of the production of fresh fruit and vegetables for economies of selected countries. Next I had described the trade flows and patterns. In the second part I made a characterization of payment terms and trade negotiations in the context of international trade with fresh fruit and vegetables. Furthermore I made an analysis of import and export rules and regulations of the EU. Based on this analysis I came to general conclusions on the trade policies of countries and communities. In the last part of my thesis I applied findings from the previous parts on the analysis of two cases. The first analyzed case is the situation of imports of Chinese pomelo to the EU, with regards to maximal residue levels of pesticides. Second analyzed case is the situation of South African citruses imported to the EU, with regards to the problematic of citrus black spots.

Libantová, Silvia ; Indrová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Chaloupka, Radek (referee)
Tourism contributes to the prosperity of destinations by bringing financial resources, new jobs, a higher level of services and infrastructure development. However, if tourism does not develop sustainably, it is accompanied by negative factors, as well. Especially, negative impacts on the environment, such as: water and soil contamination, increased noise and overcrowded destination during the high season. As a response to the worsening state of the environment and possible irreversible changes caused by irresponsible human behavior, the idea of sustainable development is becoming more important. The theoretical part describes tourism in the Slovak Republic and highlights plans for sustainable tourism development. In the practical part, the results of the questionnaire, related to the awareness of sustainable tourism in the Slovak Republic, are evaluated. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the current situation in the field of sustainable tourism and to make suggestions for its future development.
