Employment of people after serving of imprisonment in the Czech Republic in 2015

This thesis focuses on mapping the current status of people released from prison on the Czech labor market. Closer examination is focused on the main barriers that these people are facing in entering the labor market, and the organizations that help such persons to overcome these barriers. This work also maps out what forms of assistance are currently available in the Czech Republic, as integration into the labor market is an important element in reducing the rate of recidivism. This work also aims to determine what are the social costs and costs for the state budget related to people with criminal records. The practical part of this work consists of an investigative analysis of the issue of employment of people with criminal records. The main recommendations of this thesis are primarily greater cooperation with and support for the activities of NGOs and possibly the introduction of financial subsidies to motivate employers to employ people with a criminal record. This recommendation is supported by the results of a survey of employers in small businesses.

Employability of the elderly between 2007- 2014 in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the analysis of the efectivenes of ESF projects in the Zlín region

The paper focuses on the labour market of older people in the Czech Republic between 2007 and 2014. Population aging is becoming a trend in almost all European countries, while there is a gradual increase in the age for retirement, therefore it is important to improve the employment of older people. The theoretical part of the thesis presents information about the labour market of older people followed by the tools suitable for reducing unemployment. In the empirical part, the emphasis was to determine the effectiveness of ESF projects aiming to reduce unemployment of older people. Based on the analysis of primary data and on the questionnaire survey, 77% of people employed in subsidized jobs lost their job after the subsidy period. For this reason, projects are evaluated as inefficient.

Problematic Behaviour in Personalities with Highly-Functional Autism and Asperger?s Syndrome

This diploma thesis investigates the problematic behaviour of adolescents and adults between fifteen and thirty years of age who have high functioning autism and Asperger syndrome. The goal of this thesis is to define the most common deficits in behaviour of the chosen group of people and their causes. It also attempts to record the parents' level of awareness about various types of intervention. The major method of my work is processing the "questionnaires on problematic behaviour" that interrogate parents of the selected group of adolescents and adults. I also conducted two case studies where I used methods of interview, observation, anamnesis and analysis of the documents of speciál pedagogy. I carried out an analysis of the questionnaires and case studies from which I obtained all the information necessary to accomplish the aforementioned goals of this thesis.

An analysis of inclusion of intellectually disabled people into the present labour market in Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis analyses the position of intellectually disabled people on labour market in the Czech Republic. The aim is to elucidate the legislative framework in the Czech Republic, focused on employment of disabled people, and characterize the tools of active labour market policy which improve working conditions for disabled people. In practical part of this bachelor thesis I concentrate on identification of costs which are related with employment of intellectually disabled people. I analyze by questionnaire employers attitude and possibility to employ intellectually disabled people in the open labour market of the Czech Republic which according to my deductions very often underlie to the lack of information about this illness and I rebut hypothesis about higher discrimination of intellectually disabled people that can be seen in companies with a lot of employees.

Health related quality of life in adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Bachelor these is ranged on the quality of life of patiens with chronic obstruktive pulmonary disease. Theoretical part deals about quality of life itself and simultaneously about disease problems COPD. It deals with its definition, prevalence, symptome, prognosis, prevention, diagnostics, therapy and even possible developped complikations , which this disease could bring. The purpase of empiric part seems to be discovery of subjective quality of life of patiens with COPD. Eack patient feels his disease absolutely individually. Inportant search was realized at quantitative and qualitative research.

Unemployment of low qualified people in Prague

This thesis deals with issues concerning employment of people with low qualification and their position on the labour market in Prague. As a result of increasing demand for qualified job, these people are currently a risk group from the social point of view and an increased care for employment mediation is needed. The term of unemployment creates the topic of introductory part and circumstances influencing the unemployment of non-qualified manpower have been examined there. The thesis focuses further on analysis of the local labour market and on evaluation of the active employment policy, especially retraining, training and further educational courses that are to increase the competitiveness of workers on the market. The practical part is based on the questionnaire method in order to assess particular impacts of unemployment and general life situation of surveyed people. In the final part of the thesis, the ascertained information creates the base of evaluation of effectiveness of educational programs and further measures presumably decreasing the unemployment of people with primary education have been suggested.

Effect of visual reeducation on increasing functional visual capacity of adults with visual impairment

The presented work concentrates on the topic of special education and rehabilitation of weak-stghted and low-vision adults. It focuses especially on development and current structure of special aid and support, which makes increasing functional visual capacity easier in situaions where visual abilities deteriorated during adult age or old age. After comparing situations in other European countries, this work goes on to point out needs and possibilities for future development of this area in the Czech Republic. Concrete attention is focused on one area of comprehrehensive sight re-education: the development o f functional visual performance with use of special optical aids and other means, whose optimal operation is achieved by means o f amended educational and rehabilitation programme. The core o f the thesis is the topic o f increasing reading competence and reading performance. The aim of the research part of the thesis is to contribute to the existing knowledge about creating and optimizing educational-rehabilitation programme using modem tyflopedic rehabilitation and tyflotechnical means. Possibilities of disabled people to participate on labor market in selected region

Thesis on "Options for people with disabilities in the labor market in selected region"
is focused on the employment issue of health disadvantaged people. The theoretical
part defines persons with disabilities (PWD), is characterized by different types of
disabilities and describes important legislative measures and state institutions that
deal with the application of persons with disabilities in the labor market in the Czech
Republic. Thesis is based on the study of scientific literature and it has the shape of
literary research.
The practical part is focused on the description of company and organizations in
region Nymburk, which employ people with disabilities. The Method of depth
individual interview with employers is aimed at finding how many people and with
what kind of infliction are working in these firms and organizations. And what they
see as the biggest problems in the employment of PWD. Interviews with disabled
people focus on the way these people are looking for jobs and how important is for
them their current job.

Provision of people in old age

Summary Old-age provision is theme, which is nowadays often discussed. Elder people have to be safeguarded and feel the certitude and retreat. Everybody have to think about future and what happens, when they get old. There are more interpretation of the Old-age provision theme. Elder people should have passable social retreat, nice relationship with, with friends and they also should spent their free time with activities they like the most. Financial safeguard is also important. Old-age pension depends on each people employment history. People can save some money to have financial reserve for the future. The health is also important, with healthy lifestyle you can avoid many complications in an old-age.
Necessary part of life for elder people, which needs help, is some type of social center, and some type social services which can provide accommodation and essential medical service.
Aim of this essay is to provide an outlook about this theme and write up information about prospects in care of elder people. This essay is concerned with health care, financial safeguard, characterizing each types of social services and different free-time activities.
