Name of writing: Freeriding - competition forms of skiing. Objective of work: Compact and complex survey of ski-racing in the free rough - freeriding. By the help of public inquiry approach idea of this sport from the point of view of competitors. Used methods: It's exploration type of writing based on documents analysis and public inquiry work up. Results: Comprihensive review of freeriding was written on the basis of literature available. We concentrated on beginnings of freeriding and history of freeriding, subsequently on contests and rules of this sport. Based on the inquiry we found out the competitors attitude to this kind of skiing. Key words: Skiing, free riding, freeskiing, contests, rules of competition.

Start-up of a Czech company in the American business environment

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is the start-up of a Czech company in the American business environment. Main goal of the thesis is the comparison of the administrative and legal boards relevant to a company establishment in both Czech and American business environment, with emphasis on criteria of the establishment from the view of a foreigner and creating a manual for a small-sized company establishment in the USA. The first part of the thesis includes general theoretical knowledge, gained from the recognized literature. The second part focuses on the specific company step-by-step establishment based on the business plan. The output of the comparative analysis is the recommendation if and under which conditions, it is worth creating such a company; which company type is the best to choose and with what risks may occur. At the end, there are found all the important conclusions that arise from the previous parts.

Swing axle of a truck

The main purpose of this diploma thesis is to design a swing axle of a truck for 4x4 chassis without wheel reduction gears. The study consist of two parts. The first part contains designs of main parts of the axle, mechanism of suspension and steering. The second part contains the gears housing stress analysis using the finite element method. The housing of gears is the arm of the swing axle, which is the main part of the chassis.

Investment Decision Making of State and Local Governments

The topic of this dissertation thesis is collection, analysis and evaluation of information about investment decisions making within public administration bodies. The investment decision making is examined in relation to allocation of public funds on investment activities and projects. The main goal of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current status of the investment decision making within the public sector. Subsequently the goal is to offer new or updated knowledge related to these issues, and bring recommendations to improve the investment decision making of public administration bodies. At first, there are described current knowledge in the field of investment decision making. This is followed by an analysis of assessment methods used for evaluation and selection of investment projects. The work is completed by recommendations for investment decisions making in the form of a normative model. The model should increase benefits of public investment expenses for society. There are used data obtained through a questionnaire survey of 430 subsidized firms, 169 state organizational units and state funds and 130 cities, boroughs and counties. Another important source of information was secondary data of selected ministries and agencies, legislation and literature.

Usage of unstructured data in Business Intelligence

The aim of the thesis is to identify the main trends that are occurring in the market of Business Intelligence and related to unstructured data, to describe the possibilities for integrating unstructured data, to clarify what the impact on the company have the results that can be obtained using these solutions and how generally incorporate an analysis of unstructured data into BI. Another aim is to show the current situation of processing unstructured data on the example of BI system. The thesis is divided into several parts. First part is describing of the Business Intelligence area and the basic components of Business Intelligence, as well as identifying market trends. Then, there is the next part: separating the data into structured and unstructured. Here is the part about how you can access and analyse unstructured data and what is their place in BI systems. This is the end of a block of unstructured data and the beginning of a description of the enhanced version of BI. Finally, the current market situation and BI tools, which include unstructured data, are introduced. This section provides an overview of how BI tools approach to analyse unstructured data. Existed literature, professional and freely available Internet resources are used for writing the work. The purpose is to serve as a source of information for quickly orienting in the current situation, to serve as a guide to the world of BI solutions and to show potential users what are the options and functionality of these BI solutions.

Methods: Basic data were obtained using a quantitative analysis of the training program. Other important information was gathered through a regular participantního observation, supplemented by informal interviews with participants in the training process. results: The results of quantitative analysis were recorded and content of each table year period of preparation was compared with the available literature. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to describe, analyse and evaluate development, education and motivation of employees at a travel agency. The theoretical part defines the important chapters and concepts, which are necessary for the following analysis. In the following practical part the current state of development, education and motivation of employees at a specific russian travel agency is evaluated and analysed with the help of survey. At the end, there are a few suggestions on, what the travel agency could do to ensure even greater satisfaction of employees. This Bachelor's thesis is based on scientific literature devoted to the topic, company internal materials and the author's own experience, which she garnered while working in that particular company.

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of subtalar dislocation Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to work out a detailed case study of a patient with the diagnosis of subtalar dislocation and a literature search of this topic. Another goal is to acquire knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of a subtalar joint, knowledge of orthopedics related to this diagnosis and knowledge of possibilities of physiotherapeutic care of such a patient and also active participation on the therapy of this patient. Methods: I used assays and physiotherapeutic approaches which I learned during the bachelor studies on FTVS UK. Background for the special part of this thesis was gained during the special practice in C.L.P.A s.r.o. since 10.1.2011 till 4.2.2011. The general part informs about anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of a subtalar joint, about subtalar dislocation and about physiotherapeutic care of this injury. Special part includes methodology of the work, anamnesis, opening kinesiologic analysis, individual therapies, outcoming kinesiologic analysis and the effect of the therapy. Abstract This dissertation is aimed at exploring the utilization of select works by children's book author Markéta Zinnerová in literary education. The selected texts all feature a child protagonist in a difficult life situation with regards to their immediate or wider family circle. The vantage point was primarily the ouvre of M. Zinnerová, particularly the titles Indiáni z Větrova ('The Indians from Větrov'), Tajemství proutěného košíku ('The Secret of the Woven Basket'), and Kde padají hvězdy ('Where Stars Fall'). The dissertation is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains first a description of the general characteristics of narrative prose from the life of children with an emphasis on the issues of personal and social education. Furthermore, it focuses in detail on the utilisation of prose in literary education in primary schools, the methodology and different types of literary analysis and the insertion of all these activities into the relevant curriculum. The practical part deals with concrete classical and activising methods of application with regards to select texts from M. Zinnerová's works. The aim of the dissertation was to create work sheets based on excerpts from the prose of this author and to test them in practice in the environment of an after-school care centre where primary school children were to engage with them. This part of the dissertation describes said work sheets as well as the procedural methodology and the reasoning behind their creation. The work sheets were used when working with 3rd -grade school children in an after-school care centre. The ways in which they cooperated with us and were captivated by the texts, as well as the precise way in which the activities involved in working with the proposed sheets proceeded are described in the following chapter of the practical part. The concluding reflection upon the utilisation of the work sheets proposes certain possible corrections, expansions or other possible uses of these work sheets.
