Parametric design in a Garden and Landscape architecture

Diploma thesis explores use of parametric design method in the field of landscape and garden architecture. Parametric design is used as a tool. The aim is to find a method to use it in each phase of the design process, to reach effectivity and a new aesthetical approach.
Research of projects already published is the basis for further use. Design process is presented in the project part of the diploma thesis. Use of each parameter input is explained. Experimental forms and efficacy of design is the output result.

Analysis of tourism in rural region Moravice and proposal of its environmentally friendly development

The thesis is focused on environmentally friendly tourism. Defined area of interest is the country microregion Moravice. The aim of thesis is to map the most interesting tourist destinations and locations of this microregion, analysis of its facilities of tourism services, evaluation of the current opportunities of tourism and determine its strengths and weaknesses of the services provided to visitors. The used methods for data collection include field surveys, analysis of available books, newspapers and Internet sources, questionnaire survey with visitors, residents and councilors and subsequent discussions with them about the problems. Analysis of the defined area due to the issue of tourism is included in the SWOT analysis, which is the basis for the design of specific projects for the future development of tourism in the microregion Moravice.

The bachelor thesis deals with project management and internet marketing. Thesis consists of research part where individual terms are outlined and individual procedures and methods are described and practical part, which is focused on creation of a particular project to change e-shop provider in a selected company.
Goal of this thesis is a creation of the project to change e-shop provider
in a selected company. It will be created on the foundations of the procedure, which
is described by the project management. Individual project activities are aimed
at preparation and creation of the e-shop, including the use of appropriate marketing tools on the internet.

The impal of subsidies on the area development of LAG Podhorácko

The thesis deals with the contribution of the local action group Podhorácko as an appropriate tool to support the development of rural areas. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the utilization of European funding grants for Podhorácká region during the years 2007 - 2013. The impact of successful projects on the territory development is also being researched.
The thesis is divided into three parts. The initial part is aimed at the theoretical overview of the issue, the importance of rural areas and at the programmes for the rural areas development. It also contains the characterization of local action groups and the method LEADER. The second part presents the characterization of the local action group Podhorácko and the analysis of MAS region. The evaluation of funding grants for given territory is also included in this part. The last part suggests concrete measures and potential areas for MAS Podhorácko activity during the years 2014 - 2020.
The thesis analyzes the territory of local action group and verifies two hypothesises:
- MAS significantly contributes to the development of the rural areas of the given region
- the utilization of funding grants is effective
On the bases of the results of the statistical method and sociological survey the thesis defines problem areas impeding the future development.

Application of project management methods in public administration

This thesis entitled "Application of project management methods in public administration" handles real project, which will be held in public administration, with the help of project management. The work describes what steps must be pursued must perform in order to make the investment plan, in this case, the construction of a new building that will serve as the sponsor registry.
The first part focuses on the explanation of the concepts of project management, dealing with specifying what the different terms mean and how they can be used in a practical direction. Along with these concepts also deals with the methods and principles that are used in project management. These include STEP analysis, which looks at what the external environment surrounding the subject and SWOT analysis, which in turn monitors the internal environment of the body. The work is also used and critical path method called. CPM and created hierarchical structure of WBS activity. The thesis also analyzes risk situations and procurement procedures and their financial value. The theoretical part serves as a basis for practical work.
The second part is focused on practical use of knowledge, which are described in the theoretical part. There is described by the entity itself, which will carry out the investment plan and what needs to prepare and arrange before the project will be successfully completed. STEP analysis and SWOT are the practical part applied to a particular subject and their conclusions are then made the decision that the construction is necessary or not. Other methods, ie. critical path method, hierarchical structure, operations and risk analysis methods are no longer aimed at the very beginning and the realization of the investment project. This summary is presented in the final part.

Controlling and his role in enterprise management

The presented work focuses on controlling and its place in the enterprise management of Intertell spol. s r. o. The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. In the first theoretical part the terms of controlling, the controller are defined and there are types of controlling according to the business activities defined there too. The chapter also includes selected tools and methods of controlling.
In the practical part there is the Intertell spol. s r. o. company description given which is followed by a subsequent analysis carried out of the external and internal environment of the company. In the course of the text the production activities of the enterprise are being described. Subsequently, the author conducts the analysis of current controlling management of the enterprise and the findings are summarized in the conclusion chapter.
In the proposal part, the author recommends improvements in management of the enterprise by the introduction of the internal accounting, proposes to monitor the profitability of individual projects and also recommends an increase in the number controllers in the enterprise.

Topic of my Bachelor thesis is creation of business project for selected company.
The company is real and is called Bário s.r.o. The goal of this thesis is to analyze gathered
data and then prepare business plan for this company.
In first theoretical part are explained terms connected to entrepreneurship
as well as methods of financial and situational analysis.
In second part of this thesis are the theoretical methods, previously explained, applied
to the business. Thanks to these methods is created SWOT analysis. Thanks
to the SWOT analysis strategies can be prepared. These strategies are then consulted with
the business management and as a result business plan is created.

Managerial Competencies in Project Management

In project management, the role of the person in charge the project manager is absolutely crucial. Depending on the requirements of the company, all kinds of demands can be placed on them.
The first part of this dissertation is focused on important milestones in the development of project management, leading to the concept of the project manager itself. Drawing on the relevant literature, there is an emphasis on the basic definition of his/her role and how it is currently perceived. The role is theoretically defined in a competence model, which is discussed in the practical part of the dissertation.
The second part deals with a questionnaire, which is evaluated using STATISTICA12 software. According to outputs from the quantitative method of research, there are then interviews with people who work in the field of project management - which provide additional background and explanation to the results of the research.
In the conlusion of thesis is proposed a own competency model,which is based on an analysis of theoretical background and the results of the applied methods and which is also inspired by IPMA Competence Baseline 3.

Application of optimization methods in hydrological modeling

Finding the optimal state of reality is the main purpose of the optimization process. The best variant from many possibilities is selected, and the effectiveness of the given system increases. Optimization has been applied in many real life engineering problems as in hydrological modelling. Within the hydrological case studies, the optimization process serves to estimate the best set of model parameters, or to train model weights in artificial neural networks.
Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is relatively recent optimization technique, which has only a few parameters to adjust, and is easy to implement to the selected problem. The original algorithm was modified by many authors. They
focused on changing the initialization of particles in the swarm, updating the population topology, adding new parameters into the equation, or incorporating shuffling mechanism into the algorithm.
The modifications of PSO algorithm improve the performance of the optimization, prevent the premature convergence, and decrease computation time. Therefore, the main aims of the presented doctoral thesis consist of proposal of a new PSO modification with its implementation in C++ programming language. More PSO variants were compared and analysed, and the best methods based on benchmark problems were applied in two hydrological case studies.
The first case study focused on utilization of PSO algorithms in inverse problem related to estimation of parameters of rainfall-runoff model Bilan. In the second case study, combination of artificial neural networks with PSO methods was introduced for forecasting the Standardized precipitation evapotranspiration drought index.
It was found out, that particle swarm optimization is a suitable tool for solving problems in hydrological modelling. The most effective PSO modifications are the one with adaptive version of parameter of inertia weight, which updates the velocity of particles during searching through the multidimensional space via feedback information. The shuffling mechanism and redistribution of particles into complexes, at which the PSO runs separately, also significantly improve the performance.
The contribution of this doctoral thesis lies in creation of new PSO modification, which was tested on benchmark problems, and was successfully applied in two hydrological case studies. The results of this thesis also extended the utilization of PSO methods in real life engineering optimization problems. All analysed PSO algorithms are available for later use within other research projects.

Choosing a Linux distribution for file server

Goal of this thesis named "Choosing a Linux server for file server" is to find out optimal distribution of Linux for this server. In theoretical part we will be introduced with project GNL/Linux, with his history and architecture of core. Next we will describe problemation of operating systems as them own and their functions. Main thesis characterize each of one distributions. After selecting the various criteria by which it will be made selection are assigned to these criteria, the value of each entering variants. Selection is made by the multiple criteria analysis method. In thesis is used method summary of weight. For correct process of this method have to be input file edited to normalized file and every criterions have to be rated by weights. For intend weights is use Saaty's method. In end of thesis are implemented and conclusions results of conducted analysis.
