Secure access to local area network

This master's thesis deals with the field of secure access to the local area computer network. The main aim of the thesis is to characterize theoretical background of controlled access to computer networks, which includes security principles, recommended practices, authentication methods, network protocols and related processes. This thesis also includes practical usage of acquired knowledge by implementing secure access to local area network in a real environment. The first part characterize the theoretical principles underlying the design and implementation of the entire system. The practical part deals with the implementation of specific secure access to the local area computer network solution in the engineering company. The first part introduces the company, its environment and requirements. The following section describes performed analysis of the original state and based on the obtained information summarizes the proposed solution. Implementation of the comprehensive system of the controlled access to the local area network is described in detail in the next section. Description of the system deployment into production operation process, the definition of acceptance tests and recommendations for solving of potential issues are part of this work as well. Conclusion chapter contains summary of the system's economic aspects and the potential impacts on information systems operation in the company. Final evaluation summarizes the thesis, highlights the benefits of the implemented system and analyses its weak points, with recommendations for further development. It finds the designed secure access to the local network as a suitable, secure and practical way to control access to local network resources.

Employees Training and Development in the Company

This thesis is focused on the training and development of employees in the unnamed company XYZ, specifically in the Control Driving Vision Department. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on the study of professional literature and defines the basic notions related to the field of development and training. It also describes company education, its goals and methods. The conclusion of the theoretical part is focused on the systematic approach to training and its parts. The practical part contains a brief description of chosen organization and describes the system of education in the company. Recommendations have been made based on the evaluation of information gained from the interview and survey results, which could help company to improve the current educational system.

Employees Training and Development in the Company

The thesis focuses on the employees training and development in a company. The aim of this thesis is to valorize the current state of training and development in the selected company, i.e. ČESKÁ LÉKÁRNA HOLDING, a.s., to identify problem areas and then suggest possible improvements that could be applicable to real educational process of the company. The theoretical part is based on the study of the technical literature and further specifies the terms that employees training and development in the company are closely related. The practical part contains the characteristics of the company, the description and the assessment of the current state of training and development of employees based on the study of internal and publicly available sources. This part also includes research through a questionnaire survey, supplemented by interviews taken with the company employees. Based on the information, obtained from this research, are made suggestions and recommendations to improve educational processes in the company.

Evaluation System for Staff

The focus of this Bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current evaluation of employees in an organization. The theoretical part of the work is information and knowledge gained from literature relating to employee evaluation and assessment of their performance, the link between motivation and remuneration, there are also defined individually selected evaluation methods and subsequently defining evaluation interview, including errors that at the evaluation interview with a work very often occurs. The private part describes the characteristics of the selected organization in which it was found informal evaluation of employees. Based on this analysis was conducted via questionnaire. The results of this survey are evaluated in tables which are then summarized. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes findings and subsequent recommendations for streamlining the draft assessment staff in the organization.

Financial statements in selected business corporation

Diploma thesis is focused on the analysis and evaluation of financial statements compilation in the company Sellier & Bellot, a.s which produces a wide range of pistol, rifle, and shotgun ammunition for hunting and sports. Theoretical part describes basic literature that compilation of financial statements focuses on and all activities which take place before closing of ledgers. Particular parts explain a process of inventory, methods of assets value reduction, reserves, exchange rate differences, calculation of due and deferred tax and closing of accounts books. The theoretical part also describes all parts of financial reports. The analytical part firstly presents the company Sellier & Bellot and secondly analyse a process of the financial statements compilation. The following part of the thesis continues with an evaluation of a process and proposes provisions for a reduction of risks from the incidental failings.

Assessment of Financial Statements and the Closing of Books in a Chosen Company

This diploma thesis evaluates the proces of closing accounts in a chosen company. In the theoretical part of the thesis are described legal regulations governing the area of the financial statements and book closing proces and the theoretical basis. In the practical part of the thesis is decribed a specific company and the progression of selected data from the balance sheet and profit and loss account since the launch of the company. In this thesis was accomplished the analysis of the financial situation of the company. Based on the financial analysis are recommended measures. In the next part of thesis is described the process of the financial statements and the stages of the preparation works preceding the closing of accounts. In the next part of thesis is described process of the closing of each account and the process of financial statements. In the conclusion is reviewed the financial statements process in chosen company and the recommendations.

The profitability of a passive house building

The subject of the master thesis is an economic saving of a passive house construction in comparison with particular classic low-energy house. The first part of the thesis discusses the evolution of low-energy houses and classification of these constructions according to their energy consumption. It also discusses the advantages of the passive house constructions and the subsidy system, which is possible to use for houses with very low energy consumption. The practical part initially contains a description of chosen bungalow house, which is classified according to its technical specifications into classic, low-energy and passive. Furthermore, there is a brief description of the houses energy consumption and classification into their respective energy group. The subsidy system, described in the theoretical part, is a source for the detection of the subsidy entitlement of particular model varieties. A brief description of acquisition costs, focused on displaying the differences between the studied varieties, is compiled according to particular budgets. There are calculations of investment and operating costs based on technical and price sources. In the conclusion of the thesis there is an economic evaluation of return on investment of particular model types of the houses.

Hodnocení vlivu agroenvironmentálních opatření na zimoviště kalouse pustovky (Otis flammeus) a motáka pilicha (Circus cyaneus)

ABSTRACT The aim of the thesis "Evaluation of the impact of agri-environmental measures on wintering Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) and Hen Harrier (Circus cyaneus)" is to make an analysis of the current farming and to define an corresponding management in chosen locality. In the opening part of the thesis there is made the analysis od agricultural management within the area called Komarov -- Special Protection Area (in Elbe river basin) and also the description of the bird species and the description of the chosen agricultural farm together with the evaluation of the requirement on the system of agricultural management. The part of the thesis is also the analysis of draft of the document "The Program for Rural Development" for the years 2014 -- 2020, on this analysis was proposed the optimal management. There was also evaluated the quantity of birds in the locality and the possible damages on animals and deer were considered. There were specified the ecosysteme services from the descibed arrangement. Key words: Short-eared Owl, Hen Harrier, agroenvironmental arrangement, agriculture.

Managerial skills

In my bachelor thesis I devote to the theme Managerial skills. This work has two parts practical and theoretical. I was working on theoretical part based on scientific literature and materials from course Managerial skills in my university. It contains description of formation of the profession management, theory of contingence, classical, behavioural and systematic approaches to management, types of managers, styles of managerial performance and characterisation of highquality managers. In order to complete my practical part, I created a questionnaire list of managerial skills and their application in practice. This questionnaire was filed up by managers of company Emdeu. With this research I tried to find out which managerial skills are required the most and their application in the company. At the end I compiled a chart that answers the problematic.

Assessing the impact of grant projects for the management and development of the selected municipality

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the impact of the grant projects in years 2004 to 2013 on the socio-economic development of selected municipalities. It was selected Svitavy, a town situated in the Pardubice Region. The town has a population of 17000 and is located less than 75 km from Pardubice. The thesis is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. Theoretical part contains the definition of town, a description of the financing of units of local government, the definition of individual programming periods in the European Union, funds and programs, on which it can draw, and a short description of the theory of regional development. Second, practical part of the work focuses on two main things. Firstly, description, evaluation of selected grant projects, including the definition of their funding, and secondly, their impact on the socio-economic development of the municipality. The result of the thesis is to determine the main areas of the grant projects, and evaluation of projects, not only economically, but also socially, based on evaluation of the questionnaire.
