The attempts to restore the Czech civil society in 1968. The social democracy, Club of the engaged non-party men and K 231 - Association of former political prisoners
Hoppe, Jiří ; Kubů, Eduard (advisor) ; Kocian, Jiří (referee) ; Jirásek, Zdeněk (referee)
The major subject of this thesis is to follow the activities of the restoring Czech civil society during the Prague Spring era that were aimed at setting up a plurality political system, at the decomposition of one-party government, or at the changes in the self-contained (closed) National Front system as it had emerged, or had been forcibly formed after 1948 February. The Phenomenon of the restoring civic society has been presented here in three specific models, namely the civic and political activation preserving the efforts to restore a traditional political party (namely Social Democratic Party), to be followed by the pre-political and in its substance clubbing activities of the non-party public in formation of Club of Engaged Non- Party Men, a lucidly nondescript organization; finally then, a formally clearly determinate K- 231 club endeavouring the judicial, civic and social rehabilitation of its members. Within the contexts of the Prague Spring events, these are the most fragrant documents of self-formation of the citizens without assistance of the political power; in the final effects, even against it. The attempt to restore the Social Democracy (Social Democratic Party, SDP in further) during the Prague Spring 1968 era could be appreciated as an intuitive effort to impair the dogma on the so-called...

Assemblying effect on cable lines quality
Dočkal, Martin ; Křepelka, Václav (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
In the first part is explained what actually a structured cabling is. Its beginning, from what and why it was created. Its history when at the beginning were applied unbalanced coaxial cables, those were later replaced by balanced cables. In cabling for TVs are still used coaxial cables. Balanced cables are according to type named UTP, STP, FTP, and so on. Whit growing popularity of this type of cabling and its wide spread application was necessary to set some rules, standards, specifications and demands, how to build up the cabling from project to realization. According to these rules is the system built so there are strict rules for length of subsystems and interfaces and the whole appearance of the structure cabling. Next important point is projecting of cabling that is related to the previous points and when it’s finished, we should strictly follow it. With the project is closely connected characteristic of this cabling as attenuations, cross-talks and other transmission parameters which are measured in the practical part. In the second part is spoken about all the parts of which the structured cabling consists - metallic and optical connecting elements and cables. There are also mentioned their mechanical, electrical and transmission features. In the third part is described influence of man on the quality of structured cabling and the most common causes of lower quality and the ways how to prevent this from happening and how to manipulate with cabling not to destroy it. The final (fourth) part considers the measurement. There are measured qualities of metallic wires as the attenuations, delay, cross-talks on the near- and far-end, impedance and resistance. To all the features are mentioned schemes of the measurement on the twisted pairs. The measurement is divided into two parts. In the first part are measured five types of balanced cables of different length, category and damage influencing quality of these cables. In the second part is measured one balanced cable if it’s corresponding with category 5 for that t was made and if it would be possible to use it also for higher category 6. Values are tabularly sorted in tables.

One-Sided Random Context Grammars
Zemek, Petr ; Černá, Ivana (referee) ; Doc. In.g Petr Sosík, Dr. (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
První část uvádí motivaci za zavedením jednostranných gramatik s nahodilým kontextem a umisťuje materiál pokrytý v této práci do vědeckého kontextu. Poté dává přehled základů teorie formálních jazyků a některých méně známých oblastí, jejichž znalost je nutná pro pochopení studovaného tématu. Druhá část tvoří jádro práce. Formálně definuje jednostranné gramatiky s nahodilým kontextem a studuje je z mnoha pohledů. Mezi studovaná témata patří generativní síla, vztah k jiným typům gramatik, redukce, normální formy, nejlevější derivace, zobecněné a LL verze těchto gramatiky. Třetí část této práce zakončuje diskusi několika poznámkami. Mezi ně patří poznámky týkající se aplikovatelnosti zavedených gramatik v praxi, bibliografie a otevřených problémů.

Protection for Generator Unbalance
Kuba, Petr ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problem of unbalance in generators and discusses various means of generator protection against the effects caused by this abnormal working condition. The general importance of the problem is described in the introductory part of this work. The theoretical section of the thesis contains an analysis of procedures applied to solve different types of unbalance by the help of the method of symmetrical components. As a central aspect of the topic, the causes of unbalance are examined. This investigation is realized together with a close insight into the diverse possibilities of unbalance reduction and, importantly, in respect the effects of negative sequence current on a generator and its components. The principles of generator protection against unbalance are described at the end of this section. In its practical part, this work deals with the procedure of protection setting and testing. The applied protection is an actual component of the REM 543 machine terminal as made by the ABB company. In order to facilitate the testing of the protection, we used the TZO3 electrical protection testing device provided by the EGÚ Brno, a. s. company. A summary of the most important information and measurement results can be found in the final part of the thesis.

Importance sampling
Hovorka, Tomáš ; Hlávka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Antoch, Jaromír (advisor)
In the present work we study the important sampling method. This method serves as a variance reduction technique for the Monte Carlo simulations. The basic theoretical properties of important sampling estimators are shown. A number of methods how to choose an alternative density is presented and compared on many examples. Among others: translation and scaling of original density, dominating point method, random translation over the surface of d-dimensional sphere method and method combining translation and scaling of original density. In the conclusion we attempted to set up some rules for choosing an appropriate method in dependence on the form of the problem to be solved.

Zatloukal, Radomír ; Bednář, Josef (referee) ; Žák, Libor (advisor)
Two real time series, one discussing the area of energy, other discussing the area of economy. By the energetic area we will be dealing with the electric power consumption in the USA, by the economic area we will be dealing with the progress of index PX50. We will try to approve the validity of hypothesis that with some test functions we will be able to set down the accidental unit distribution in these two time series.

The Role of Nurse in the Prevention of Disease of Civilisation
PAVLOVÁ, Martina
The current state Prevention is a complex care of a patient when we are trying to prevent from the occurrence or development of a disease, or when we want to prevent from its consequences and mitigate them. Recommendations for prevention set by a doctor must be on a scientific basis, and they must be a part of all branches of medicine. Their effectiveness depends on the cooperation between patients and medical staff. The basic and most efficient method of prevention is the health promotion and health education, which is closely associated with it. The term health promotion involves a set of activities and precautions for the purpose of making health better and sustaining it. Diseases of civilisation (hereinafter "DoC") are groups of diseases which are distinguished by their association to our lifestyles. Human body is more and more threatened from unfavourable influences of external environment, such as the quality of atmosphere, work environment and environment itself, the lack of physical movement, unhealthy diet, smoking, and alcohol consumption. The list of diseases of civilisation varies and changes together with our society and the development of our lifestyles. Among the most common or frequent diseases of current time are cardiovascular diseases, which involve atherosclerosis, hypertension, myocardial infarction, stroke, coronary artery disease and obesity. Furthermore, between civilization diseases include diabetes mellitus type 2 or cancer, etc. The goal of the thesis There are two goals set for this paper. The first goal was to find out what the role of a nurse in the prevention of diseases of civilisation was. The second goal was to find out what the above mentioned role of a nurse was from the point of view of patients. Methodology For the purpose of the research part of this thesis, qualitative research using semistructured interviews was carried out. Respondents were divided into two groups; the first one consisted of eight nurses working at internal medicine and neurological department of the hospital in České Budějovice and a nurse working in a private office of a general practitioner for adult patients. The second group consisted of eight patients of the above mentioned health facilities. Results According to our findings, nurses and patients have different oppinions on the role of a nurse. Nurses in disease prevention see themselves as an equivalent to a doctor when undertaking this practice and giving guidance. The patient speaks only to the nurse who emphasized what they were told by the doctor and reiterated the main points. They make available to them leaflets and brochures or Internet resources. In contrast, most patients see a nurse as a more important source of information than the doctor. Patients have the feeling that the doctor does not have enough time or does not want to be botherd with questions. Rather the patient turns to his nurse, which they sees as more appropriate and someone to whom they can confide in without bothering. Summary The goal of the thesis was to focus on prevention, DoC, and the role of a nurse in the prevention of such diseases, as well as to study this issue, look at it from the point of view of patients and nurses via the interviews carried out in this paper, and to analyse such information. Based on this analysis are published recommendations for nurses and patients.
