The consequences of an aging population in the financing of the pension system
Málková, Zuzana ; Fiala, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dotlačilová, Petra (referee)
Currently, the topic about sustainability of the pension system is very much discussed across the entire population. The beginning of this thesis is focused on different types of pension systems. Next, there is described the current Czech pension system. The main content of this thesis is the analysis of selected indicators and indexes identifying the population ageing and the prognosis of their future progress. Based on the prediction of selected indicators and indexes, there are summed possible problems arising for the current pension system in the close future. Therefore, at the end of this thesis, there are mentioned some possible suggestions that could ensure the better functioning and stability of the pension system.

Glucose-metabolism patology during pregnancy
Janštová, Alena ; Andělová, Kateřina (advisor)
Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a disease occurring mostly over the age of 40 years. In recent years, however, increasingly more often in younger populations , often even adolescents and children. The team is also related to the increasing prevalence of pregnant women diagnosed with pregestačným type 2 diabetes . Material fact is worsening of pregnancies among these women. The incidence of congenital malformations is 2 - 3 times higher than the normal population . prevalence of sudden intrauterine death is approximately four times higher . Perinatal mortality is comparable in both types of diabetes (2.6% of type 1 diabetes vs.3 , 7 % for type 2 diabetes ) but causes leading to fetal death are different. In Type 1 diabetes is the leading cause of perinatal mortality severe malformation of the fetus and complications related to prematurity . In type 2 diabetes dominated by sudden intrauterine fetal death . From these facts shows how important it is to you earliest detection of the disease , the importance of preconception care with emphasis on planning Parenting and provide adequate prenatal care.

Analysis of the Internet population
Puldová, Olga ; Hlavsa, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kudlík, Michal (referee)
This bachelor's thesis addresses internet population in Czech republic. The literary research is divided into four sections. The first section explains the concept of internet and discusses its origin and development. A general internet user and users of internet in European Union are characterized in the second section. The third section is focused on internet population of Czech Republic. The last section of research is dedicated to research companies engaged in analyzation of internet population in Czech Republic. The practical section of this thesis maps internet population in Czech Republic in the years 2010 to 2015 and predicts its progress in 2016. It analysis internet users in selected sociodemographic views: representation of men and women, age structure and education level. Data are described using exploratory data analysis and they are processed using time series in statistic software SAS.

Conservatism and liberalism - an outdated concept?
Pour, Marek ; Vranka, Marek (advisor) ; Lukavský, Jiří (referee)
Conservatism and liberalism in american psychological reasearch is mostly described as unidimensional scale which clearly divides ideology into two opposite ideological standpoints. However, current relevant studies show that unidimensional approach to study ideology is overly simplified. Linking ideological orientation and personal traits seem to bring about contradicting results. In a similar way, relevant psychological instruments for measuring conservatism seem to measure two relatively independent aspects of conservatism. It is apparent mostly from large population studies, that ideological orientation is more complex than it may appear. Specific agendas stemming from their respective ideological directions are for a large part of population relatively uncorrelated with their overall ideological self- identification. Multidimensional models of conservatism and liberalism using at least social and economic agenda therefore seem as a more useful way to describe political orientation for most of the population. Empirical part of the study proposes a partial replication of two relevant studies to test a thesis of similar multidimensionality of the left-right ideological orientation scale in czech population. This could at the same time provide a relevant american-czech comparison.

Management of production populations of forest tree species utilizing methods of mathematical programing
Hořejší, Matouš ; Lstibůrek, Milan (advisor) ; Stejskal, Jan (referee)
Breeding of forest tree species is a great opportunity for the entire forestry sector to succeed in the present modern World. Genetically improved forest trees have much better growing quality and they can sustain higher stress and unfavorable climatic conditions. Efficient algorithms are necessary for optimizing and establishing seed orchards. These should optimally select clones as parents in future seed orchards. In the present thesis, we developed model, based on mathematical programming methods, which creates mix of clones with the maximum breeding value and constraints on genetic diversity.

Healthy lifestyle of young population
Vargová, Andrea ; Polišenský, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis investigates the healthy lifestyle of the youth generation. It consists of two parts. Theoretical one and practical one. The first part of the thesis examines the basic terms connected to the healthy and balanced lifestyle. More precisely, the terms of healthy lifestyle are predominantly concerned with preschool children. This part delivers a comprehensive framework about what unconditionally belongs to the healthy lifestyle and at the same time it indicates the recommended nutrient values and the correct amounts of specific nutrients in preschool childrens diet. The second part of this thesis sheds light on the selected kindergarten. This institution is analysed from its economic, financial and nourishing point of view together with the selection of sports and activities. Moreover, the kindergartens engagement in the development of the healthy lifestyle is scrutinised. In the end of the thesis the overall evaluation and interpretation of the outcome is presented. The results are derived from the data and observations carried out during the internship and interviews conducted with the employees of the selected kindergarten.

Selected characteristics of the labour market in connection with population ageing
Janáková, Katarína ; Miskolczi, Martina (advisor) ; Fiala, Tomáš (referee)
The bachelor thesis provides analysis and comparison of labour market with focus on population ageing in Central European region (Czech Republic, Austria and Slovak Republic). As well as economic and demographic terminology this thesis analyse development of labour market within the past 15 years (from 2000 to 2014). Taking into account obvious trend of decreasing birth-rate and extending life expectancy the analysis assumed that the aspect of population ageing is present in all three countries. Thus, there will be more and more people in age of 50+ in labour market therefor the last part of this thesis is dedicated to various concepts known as age management that try to solve this situation.

Freshwater mussels breeding methods for the purpose of conservation programs
Plechingerová, Věra ; Douda, Karel (advisor) ; Matasová, Klára (referee)
Bachelor thesis is written in an overview form of problems breeding freshwater molluscs. At the beginning of the thesis I first evaluate the overall status of the populations in the Czech Republic and then in the world. Next I describe the anatomy and biology of molluscs, especially their reproduction, which is crucial for rearing juveniles in the laboratory or seminatural environment. The return of molluscs populations into the waters ecosystems is problematic in terms of ongoing changes in the biotope, particularly because of the anthropogenic influences and too few suitable host fish, without which it can not complete its glochidia development. To prevent the complete extinction of some species, there have been researched different methods of rearing, which help recover viable populations in the natural water environment. Methods of rearing are also described in this thesis. In the experimental part of the thesis I evaluate types of detritus that have different effects in length gain of mussels. For the experiment was selected freshwater pearl mussel (Margaritifera margaritifera), whose population is highly endangered. Freshwater mussels are an important bio-indicator of waters ecosystems, where they have an irreplaceable function, so it is important to regenerate their populations and the overall condition of the biotopes.

Fish population on the river Dyje at NP Podyjí
Štrunc, David ; Kalous, Lukáš (advisor) ; Kuříková, Pavlína (referee)
This thesis is focused on changes of fish populations in the river Dyje located at the national park Podyjí. These changes are caused mostly due to presence of two large dams (Znojemská and Vranovská dam) between which w the study locality is situated. There are also other factors affecting ichtyofauna composition as piscivorous predators, non-native species or restocking of particular target species. First information about the fish populations appeared in year 1921. In that years, the locality contained species, that are not present at the river site at the moment. Examples given: sturgeon (Acipenser ruthenus) and danube salmon (Hucho hucho). These species extincions were associated with interupted fish migration between locality and Donau river basin. On the other hand, new fish pecies (that are not-native to Czech Republic and were not observed before 1921) started to appear during following years. From the former fish population of type Barbus-Chondrostoma the type changed to Salmo-Thymallus. Most of this change was caused by regular restocking of the salmonids. Since 1993 there is evidence on new presence of tolerant fish species that do not necesarilly need cold, flowing water. There is high probability, that this appearance is caused by slowing down the river stream and also the heating of the water, that takes place in the dam.
