June 2010 1 General Overview The topic of my dissertation work is European Order for Payment and European Small Claims Procedure. In particular, I examine two European regulations relating to European private international law: (i) Regulation (EC) No 1896/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 creating a European order for payment procedure and (ii) Regulation (EC) No 861/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 July 2007 establishing a European Small Claims Procedure. Intercultural management in the times of globalization

The purpose ofthis thesis titled "Intercultural Management in the Times of Globalization" is to conduct an analysis of the intercultural management fundamentals and work specifics of a global manager who is operating on an international level. In particular, I have focused on the unique success of the Renault-Nissan Alliance in the automotive industry. The outcome of this thesis should provide a manual for global managers that are operating internationally. The theoretical framework is represented by an analysis of the causes and fundamentals of the interculturalization of today's world. The practical part consists of two main sections. The first part is focusing on identifying the factors that attribute to the success or failure of a strategic cooperation of two different entities in the automotive industry. The second part is an in-depth analysis of the integration process of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. This thesis outlines the situation on the global automobile market in terms of creation of various forms of strategic cooperations. It further proves the importance of an intercultural management during the creation of such partnerships.

The thesis on regards the topic Fair Trade - Analysis of selected products - tea, and discusses the international trade in commodities with regard to the human factor, where business conditions are not primarily aimed at fighting competition. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part explaining the concepts, history and vision associated with Fair Trade and tea. The second part is practical, its main objective is a field research, which is finding the awareness of the population of the Czech Republic about Fair Trade and tea. Finally, the thesis tries to outline other options how to better inform the Czech population on Fair trade and to increase the sale of products.

Informatization in Financial administration of Czech Republic Thesis deals with informatization in Financial administration of Czech Republic. Especially, it is focused on informatization of internal processes of the organization: Payments, invoicing, asset management, electronic document and record management system, circulation of accounting documents and the advantages and disadvantages consequent informatization of these areas. Informatization evaluation is conducted by a questionnaire survey among em-ployees of financial administration, describing and evaluating elements of informatization based of author experience and by research and evaluation cost informatization.

the impact of the global economic crisis on international trade of the Czech republic

This thesis addresses the effects of the global economic crisis on the situation in the international trade of the Czech Republic. I focused on exploring the causes of the crisis and its impact on international trade. The chosen problem I solved by using index methods, deduction, induction, and abstraction. Carried out by the research I've found specific effects on the territorial and commodity structure of Czech trade. The main findings are the impact of the crisis on the volume and structure of trade of the Czech Republic from the territorial point of view and according to the classification of SITC.

Tato práce se zabývá poskytováním práv na zachování menšinového jazyka a kultury imigrantským menšinám. Práce se zvláště soustředí na "lingvistická práva", tedy na veřejné vzdělání v menšinovém jazyce a přístup menšiny k většinovému jazyku, právo na vícejazyčné názvy a označení, právo na financování aktivit, které zviditelňují menšinovou kulturu, a právo na použití menšinového jazyka při jednání s úřady. Práce shrnuje úpravu lingvistických práv v mezinárodněprávních dokumentech. Economics of sports organization

This work deals with the economics of sports organizations and the overall analysis of the current state of funding for sport in the Czech Republic, its benefits, health benefits, and also comparison with other countries within the European Union. The main sponsor of sport in the Czech Republic is the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports, which in co-operation with the umbrella organizations reallocate resources to support sports through grant programs. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the management of two key umbrella organizations and representatives of Czech sports the Czech Olympic Committee and the Czech Union of Sport and to propose recommendations for improving the system of redistribution of funds, including the definition of the highest sports authority, which is will be able to represent the interests of the sport towards international institutions, legislative bodies, government institutions, regional and district authorities, lottery companies or potential sponsors.

Contemporary Hungarian minority in Slovakia and Slovak in Hungary

The thesis presents theoretical approaches to the issue of national minorities and seeks to include two specific cases - Slovakia and Hungary - into this theoretical spectrum. Slovak and Hungarian minorities in Hungary and Slovakia respective are characterized at the same time. Territorial delimitation is obvious, time delimitation is primarily based in the first decade of the new millennium, ending in 2010. Theoretical part of the thesis is divided into two parts - first dealing with national and ethnic minorities (various classifications, terminology and characteristics), second with possible approaches of states to their national minorities (discussed are all conceivable approaches from the least favorable to the friendliest one). The practical part is divided into two main chapters, namely by surveyed countries - Slovakia and Hungary. Both of these chapters deal with national minorities in a given country, with the characteristics of these minorities and their legal status. Analysis of legal statuses of these minorities is based on international treaties, constitutions and laws of both countries.
