Methodology of highly reliable systems design
Straka, Martin ; Gramatová, Elena (referee) ; Racek, Stanislav (referee) ; Kotásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
In the thesis, a methodology alternative to existing methods of digital systems design with increased dependability implemented into FPGA is presented, new features which can be used in the implementation and testing of these systems are demonstrated. The research is based on the use of FPGA partial dynamic reconfiguration for the design of fault tolerant systems. In these applications, the partial dynamic reconfiguration can be used as a mechanism to correct the fault and recover the system after the fault occurrence. First, the general principles of diagnostics, testing and digital systems dependability are presented including a brief description of FPGA components and their architectures. Next, a survey of currently used methods and techniques used for the design and implementation of fault tolerant systems into FPGA is described, especially the methods used for fault detection and localization, their correction, together with the principles of evaluating fault tolerant systems design quality.  The most important part of the thesis is seen in the description of the design methodology, implementation and testing of fault tolerant systems implemented into FPGAs which uses SRAMs as the configuration memory. First, the methodology of developing and automated checker components design for digital systems and communication protocols is presented. Then, a reference architecture of a dependable system implemented into FPGA is demonstrated including several fault tolerant architectures based on the use of partial dynamic reconfiguration as the mechanism of fault correction and the recovery from it. The principles of controlling the reconfiguration process are described together with the description of the test platform which allows to test and verify the design of fault tolerant systems based on the methodology presented in the thesis. The experimental results and the contribution of the thesis are discussed in the conclusions.

Nonlinear circuit structures using current and voltage conveyors
Gabriel, Viktor ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the use of active components in nonlinear circuits. First the variants of the current and voltage conveyors are theoretically described. Then the thesis deals with the design of the new curcuit structures with nonlinear components, which comes out from the former known realizations. Several possible solutions of the examined circuit have been designed and the most convenient structure has been selected. The chosen solution has been thoroughly analysed in subsequent diploma thesis to enable comparison of the theoretically designed circuit with the practically realized one.

Certified technology of book disinfection by vapours of components of essential oils
Neuvirt, Jiří, ; Volejníková, A.

Effect of feeding flaxseed on the quality of goat milk fat
Malá, Kateřina ; Fantová, Milena (advisor)
Type of feed, its quality, form of adjustments and feeding technique influence the composition and quality of milk. The share of milk components is highly variable, depending on nutrition and animal health. The greatest changes occurring in milk fat content. Milk fat is responsible for the natural flavor of milk. However, in terms of the modern world, human, saturated fatty acids contained in milk fat is considered negative active ingredient with the subsequent development of cardiovascular disease and the development of atherosclerosis in humans. Currently, therefore a growing demand for polyunsaturated fatty acids in milk as a healthy alternative. For this reason, an effort to influence the composition or the content of fatty acids in the milk of dairy animals. One way to significantly increase the content of desired MUFA and PUFA acids in milk fat is the use of oils and oilseeds in the ration. Very positive influence flaxseed, which among other things contains high levels of linolenic acid. The aim of this work is to analyze and evaluate the milk fat of goats, which are fed with linseed in extruded form compared with a control group of goats without complementary food. It can assume that feeding flaxseed to increase milk fat content, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

Corporate culture
Pejšek, David ; Pilař, Ladislav (advisor) ; Balcarová, Tereza (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of corporate culture. The aim of the thesis is to describe the impact that the company cell phones have on the personal life of the employees. The first, theoretical, part is focused on the concept of corporate culture and defines its basic components and elements. This part is trying to summarize all the approaches available in the literature by variety of authors. The second, practical, part of this thesis presents the results of a questionnaire survey which is focused on the influence of the company cell phones on the employees in their personal free time. The conclusion summarizes the entire survey and offers the interpretation of the results.

Electronic journal Ikaros
Sladkovská, Alena ; Jansová, Linda (advisor) ; Kučerová, Helena (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the history of the electronic journal Ikaros in connection with development of the Internet. Opening part gives a definition of electronic publishing and aims at its advantages and disadvantages against paper publishing. The essence of this thesis is description of the content and formal side of Ikaros. This thesis is giving a survey of the editorial and publishing system Drupal as well. The end part describes processes leading to publication of every new issue and marketing tools of propagation. Author of this bachelor thesis also designed a stencil for Ikaros contributors and some possibilities of Ikaros improvements (e. g. expanding by using web 2.0 components).

Application of Business Intelligence in Private and Public Sector
Todorov, Lukáš ; Tyrychtr, Jan (advisor) ; Miroslav, Miroslav (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the present state of Application of Business Intelligence (BI) in Private and Public Sector in the Czech Republic. The first part of this thesis is theoretically oriented and describes the BI evolution, finds its present definition and specifies the relationship to the related fields a branches. There are identified the BI users and there is also described the position of BI in IS/ICT in the organization. After that follows the description of the principles of BI, it means that the components are taken to pieces. The final part shows the possible comprehensive BI solution. The second part is practice-oriented and explores the present state of application of BI in private and public sector and describes the expected BI evolution until 2020. The thesis deals with the potential application of BI and possibilities how to obtain the subsidies from the EU for its implementation in each sector. After that there are described the barriers to implementation of BI and shown some specific examples of significant software solutions in these sectors. Then there are summarized the main differences in application of BI in each sector. The final part focuses on the on-line application research and its evaluation. The diploma thesis shows, why the BI is one of the most perspective business informatics areas. The thesis is also high-quality typographically elaborated.

Optimization of production process through the application of the method of KAIZEN
Behan, Václav ; Fejfarová, Martina (advisor) ; Jiří, Jiří (referee)
The main topic of this thesis is an optimization of chosen manufacturing process using the application of selected method. The theoretical part describes in detail components and issues that are related to the chosen Kaizen-method, whose implementation in the manufacturing process can have by proper grasp a significant impact on objectives achieving. Use of methods that bring manufacturing companies great potential for streamlining and optimization of manufacturing processes is nowadays essential for preserving the competitiveness. In the practical part the first analysis of the current selected process was made. In this analysis several serious deficiencies was found. It was subsequently suggested an optimal solution, that uses the selected method. For proposed solution were simultaneously necessary investment defined, without which no process can be changed. After consultation with the management of the company was this change approved and it was subsequently successfully applyed in the production process.
