Vertical ground exchangers as a source of energy
Mašek, Lukáš ; Neuberger, Pavel (advisor) ; Daniel, Daniel (referee)
The dissertation on the topic of "vertical ground heat exchangers as a source of energy" deals with boreholes as a source of energy for the heat pump. In the chapter "The current state" is gradually described problems geothermal energy, open and closed systems, the distribution of thermal boreholes by construction and at the end of the chapter focuses on the thermal test wells. In the chapter "Methodology", in the theoretical part are zoomed simplistic relationships that describe the heat conduction around the borehole, analytical models, numerical models and a combination of numerical and analytical models that are able to describe two or three-dimensional conditions. In the experimental part of this chapter is given space characteristics of the place of measurement and definition of terms attenuation depth and heat transfer coefficient. The final chapter of the dissertation "Results and discussion" presents concrete results.

Graphical Filters for the AGE Project
Novotný, Marek ; Ježek, Pavel (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
The goal of this thesis was to develop a set of libraries for the AGE project. The libraries implement common transform, convolution (both high and low frequency) and color lters. The libraries also include an implementation of one-dimensional panoramas of overlapping images. All of the functionality is designed to seamlessly fi t into the AGE project class structure. In order to present the main results of the thesis a simple graphical editor was created as part of the thesis. The editor supports generation of panoramas as well as application of all the implemented filters to bitmap and vector images.

Steel Structure of a Shopping Centre
Pokorná, Martina ; Ing. Milan Šmak. Ph.D. (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
The load-carrying steel structure of the shopping centre is proposed in two versions. The more advantageous version is elaborated in detail. The roof structure is designed using three-dimensional curved trusses with glass roofing and the structure rests on steel columns. The ground plan dimensions of the steel structure are 120 by 73 meters.

HOUSE ON THE EDGE – Valašské Meziříčí, Sokolská Street
Štancl, Michal ; Němec, Josef (referee) ; Ruller, Ivan (advisor)
The concept is a combination of two different dimensional masses placed in a given area. The main building consists of a simple form of block IV. floors, the height and direction honor houses line the eastern part of the street Polášková and indirectly linked to it. Starting Cimala commercial center. In the opposite part of the main mass is only partial continuity created one deck above. An important factor in creating living spaces was sufficient offset from the main road, partially shielded by noise at the second follow-up buildings. The dominant mass is connected to a smaller two-storey L-shaped object, which combined elements of both maintaining the existing road corridor between the buildings housing and the historic town center. This is achieved by interruption of the dominant buildings in the middle on the first floor with the open-through-passage of the passage connecting the two parcels and create a public space between objects. The passage therefore preserves the widely used linear path from the street Pospíšilová Square. United objects are separated from the eastern part of the shopping center space Cimala in order to maintain the supply side of the aforementioned object.

Offset of load to sole of feet of special Police units members
Vávra, Daniel ; Majorová, Simona (referee) ; Hošková, Blanka (advisor)
3 ABSTRAKT: Title: Offset of load to sole of feet of special Police units members Objective: Objective of the thesis is to analyse causes and link between health problems and overload of the whole organism, lower extremities in particular. The issue has been narrowed down to special Police units, whose specific job increases strain to the whole organism as a result of using ballistic protective components. Methodology: In cooperation with the Ortopedica company which specialises in production of surgical insoles, a method called podography is used for diagnostics of sole of the foot. It is a simple, not expensive and accessible method enabling to acquire two-dimensional image of surface of the foot sole. The Ortopedica company provided all necessary equipment, and has carried out expert evaluation of samples of Mayer's method. For acquire of statements is used questionnaire survey. It is the method which explore and describe a behaviour and an opinion of specific group of people. For collation of two groups of plantograms is used a method called comparison. The first group shows a condition of sole of foot after initial measurement. The second group shows a condition of sole of foot after the compensatory training. Results: Results of the research are process as a case study. Results show impact of overload...

Posouzení dřevěných podlahovin vhodných pro podlahové vytápění
Peřina, Jakub
The main objective of this thesis is to assess the suitability of multilayer wood flooring especially in terms of dimensional stability, which is the most important feature when combining flooring with underfloor heating. Part of the work is to describe the problems of floor heating from the perspective of the past and present point of view, mention types of flooring, including designs and flooring installations. The second part of the work is about issue of step layer suitable for underfloor heating, with a broader focus on wood materials, particularly engineered wood flooring. Work also includes measured values and processed to assess two three-layer flooring of different material composition. In conclusion of this work is indicated an assessment of available laminated wood flooring, which were examined in our test and also draft of new design flooring made of wood, which would improve the thermal effects of underfloor heating.

Comparison of Fully Software and Hardware Accelerated XML Processing
Knap, Tomáš ; Nečaský, Martin (referee) ; Holubová, Irena (advisor)
The aim of this work is to compare XML processing abilities of standard software solutions and hardware accelerated scenarios using a new generation of XML processing appliances. The emphasis is puts on the speed of processing XML documents and on the demandingness of various operations over XML data. Firstly, we describe the used XML technologies and corresponding implementations in Java. Consequently, we characterize the core parts of our testing frameworks - IBM WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance XI50 for hardware accelerated and IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.1 for standard XML processing. Further, the testing hierarchy involving two distinct testing suites - "Flat" and "Onion"- and tens of testing scenarios are defined. The "Flat" testing suite covers parsing, validating, transforming, and securing operations over XML data applied individually to a wide range of testing data, without bothering with concurrency. On the other hand, the "Onion" testing suite is a stress test combining several operations together. Both testing suites are executed on our testing framework and several measures (such as throughput) are collected and analyzed using n-dimensional OLAP cubes. The results show under which circumstances the appliance for hardware accelerated XML processing is worth using on and quantify...

STUDY OF PLASTIC ZONE IN FRAMEWORK OF TWO-PARAMETER FRACTURE MECHANICS
Seitl, Stanislav
The size of the plastic zone geometry ahead of cracks is presented in this article. The plastic zone is studied in framework two-parameter fracture mechanics. Compact tension and center cracked plate tension specimens are selected for analysis, because they have different sign of T-stress. Size and shape of the plastic zone are studied on dependence T-stress. The results two and three-dimensional solution are compared with analytical solution.

Binocular vision and anaglyph production
Klíma, Jindřich ; Jehlička, Karel (referee) ; Fedra, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my semester work was to study the physiology of binocular vision for spatial perception of two-dimensional images using glasses with coloured filters, anaglyphs. Since the theme concerns the visual sense, I explained the principle of the vision first. Then I described the principle of physiological development of the vision and the assumptions about binocular vision. The binocular vision is a complex process ongoing in the brain. Therefore, another topic of my thesis was an analysis of three-dimensional objects, space analysis, which unknowingly takes place in our brain. The next chapter deals with stereoscopy, technology which evokes a feeling of depth in two-dimensional images. One of the techniques is obtaining spatial perception by means of glasses with colour filters. In my thesis, I summarized the knowledge about the principle of anaglyphs and I described the principle of obtaining anaglyphs, from shooting the scene, over its creation to its viewing. Finally, here is an example of the program created in Matlab. It is a simple program to obtain anaglyphs from two separate frames.

Multi-Dimensional Languages and Their Automata
Dibďák, Lukáš ; Martiško, Jakub (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
The Bachelor's Thesis introduces the theory of formal languages and finite automata. It describes generalisation of one-dimensional theory into two dimensions. It introduces basic types of two-dimensional automata, especially on-line tessellation automata. This paper offers algorithms for the process of determinization of on-line tessellation automata. One of the algorithms is used in enclosed application.
