The Study of Inventory Management in Connection with Manufacturing Process

This master’s thesis deals with problems of inventory management in the International Repair Centre for Symbol Technologies Czech Republic s.r.o.. Actual inventory management is described with a focus on materials planning, storage and evidence of inventory movements using information database systems. A part of the thesis is also an analysis of inventory categories from several different aspects. The purpose of the master’s thesis is to submit suitable suggestions of how to improve existing inventory management processes.

Evaluation of changes in production and tree species composition of a stand arisen from line planting

The bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of one mature beech stand in the Natural Forest Area Středomoravské Karpaty. This stand was arisen from line planting and its initial tree species composition was spruce 50%, beech 25%, oak 13% and larch 12%. During the development mainly conifers and oak were removed; the present tree species composition is beech 96%, larch 3% and spruce only 1%. The present stock volume reaches 796 m3/ha. The stand was surveyed during the development and results were published in individual periods. Comparing the results we can make a statement that beech on rich sites in Carpathians reaches extraordinal dimensions and using appropriate tending extraordinal quality as well.

V-belts Warehouse Logistics Optimization According to Sampling Frequency

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the area relating to warehouse of V-belts in the company RUBENA, a.s. The thesis consists of theoretical, analytical and proposal parts. The first part includes theoretical knowledge from logistics and its terms. In the second part there is analysis of the current state of the keeping V-belts warehouse in the company RUBENA, a.s. The output of thesis is the proposed solution how to efficiently sort out the V-belts warehouse so the most frequently delivered items are as close to the internal expedition point as possible which brings the benefit of time saving.

The Study Service Management in a Business Organization

The thesis is focused on service management in a business organization. The theoretical part is devoted to storage and stocks with regard to the serviceability of the customers. The practical part analyzes the current state of stocks, suppliers' activities and sorting system of stocks. By using these analyzes are identified shortcomings and then suggested their solutions. These suggestions will lead to increase serviceability and satisfaction of customers.

Proposal for a new spare parts storage depot at OKD company

The goal of this thesis is to propose a new warehouse of spare parts. The first part describes the theoretical analysis of mentioned problems. This is followed by an analysis of the current situation in the company warehouse and analysis of information storage system SAP. The main part consists of determining the inventory, location of warehouse, storage equipment choice and a draft layout. Based on an evaluation by selected criteria was identified advantageous variant. The conclusion is devoted to the economic evaluation of the implementation of the warehouse of spare parts.
