Prevalence of substance abuse among employees of low-threshold and outpatient addictology services in the Czech Republic

Background: The prevalence of substance use in the general population is commonly mapped, as is the issue of substance prevalence among drug users themselves. There is no official research in the Czech Republic that deals with the prevalence of substance use among workers in addictology services. Objectives: The aim of the research is to map the prevalence of the use of legal and illegal addictive substances in a selected research population. The results of the mapping will show which addictive substances are most frequently used by members of the research population, which substances have the highest lifetime prevalence and which substances are not very popular in this population. Methods: The basic orientation of the empirical survey was quantitative. Data were obtained through an online questionnaire survey. Out of the total number of 589 employees, 41.9% of employees of outpatient or low-threshold addictology services participated in the research, ie 247 respondents. Analysis of costs on the workers in the construction company

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the costs of workers in the construction company. The subject is the definition of the costs of permanent employees and external employees in a particular construction company. The terms wage policy in the Czech Republic, wages and salaries, prices in construction, workers and THP workers are defined. The following section describes the costs that an undertaking has for its permanent employees and the cost it has for external employees. It is also compared whether it is advantageous to hire or have permanent employees. At the end of the work, it is evaluated whether it is preferable to hire or have them as permanent employees. The reasons why the company has it set up in this way are also clarified.

1 Working hours and some other related institutions of healthcare workers Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the working hours of workers working in healthcare, but also comments on other areas that are associated with working hours. It is possible to find in it a comprehensive overview of valid and effective legislation, which is supplemented by relevant European case law related to the area currently addressed. In addition to the current situation, the aim of the thesis is also to verify whether the legislation is effective and whether it is complied with. The thesis is divided into several chapters, beginning with an explanation of labor law principles and central concepts of the whole thesis - the worker and the employer in healthcare. The most comprehensive chapter is the chapter devoted to the main topic of this thesis, working hours. The concept of working hours, its records and length are discussed here, while the concept of shortened and shorter working hours was not omitted. Other chapters deal with institutes such as night work, overtime, on-call time or rest periods. The chapter devoted to overtime work also discusses its remuneration, as the only remuneration in this whole thesis, because remuneration for overtime work in healthcare forms a large part of monthly remuneration and it is...

Analysis of job satisfaction

The master thesis deals with the issue of job satisfaction. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the state of job satisfaction among employees of the selected organization Stredni a Materska skola. For this purpose the theoretical background is first elaborated; the basic concepts of work motivation and job satisfaction are defined and the specific features of education are described. This section is followed by methodological part, where the procedures and selected methods for the elaboration of the given project are described. The final part is a practical part where the specific institution in which the survey was conducted is introduced. After that, the results from the questionnaire survey and the individual interview with the school principal are evaluated. On the basis of the identified facts, improving proposals are finally mentioned to increase work satisfaction and optimize working conditions.

Presentation of the regime enemy in 1950s.

1 ABSTRACT The main aim of my diploma work is to show the representation of the class fighting and the class enemy presented to inhabitants of the Czech Repub- lic in the first half of 1950's, particularly during the period of Stalinism. This reflection of the class fighting and the class enemy is a consequence of reading newspaper and poetry published in the defined period. This period is characterized by bipolar dividing of the world in two blocs: socialist and capitalist that declared different contradictory ideologies. This di- viding resulted from the Cold War and both blocs were mutually competing for the final victory of one regime. Socialist bloc described rivalrous capitalist bloc in an unsightly manner and it was knowingly spreading fear of its enemies either coming from the capitalist bloc or at least co-operating with it. So my work demonstrates describing the enemies of socialism and work- ing class and also features that were attributed and ascribed to them. The con- trast between these two blocs were often used for this description. The socialist bloc was the sphere of welfare and progress while the capitalist bloc was the sphere of evil and decay. Motivation and Stimulation of Employees in the Company

The thesis focuses on motivation and stimulation of workers and employees in a specific company. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical part. The first part contains theoretical basis related to the topic of motivation and stimulation. In the practical part of the stated evaluation of the current situation in the company and at the base of the results was made a proposal on improving the current motivation system and increase the satisfaction of workers.
