Analysis of a beginning teacher and his common problems in an educational process

Thesis "Beginning teacher - analysis of his personality, work and the most common problems in his work" deals with the personality of a beginning teacher, mentions the most common problems in his work and tries to find ideas for improving the situation. As the same times in analyses the selected components of his personality, which usually participates the lack of attention, especially in preparing future teachers, and which usually not mentioned in proper context. It focuses primary on the professional competence of teachers in relation to the student's core competencies as well as in other contexts. It also discusses the role of novice teachers in the context of the transformation of the Czech education system and also in the context of the Lisbon process. Analyses of key documents are included too. Great attention is paid to think about the different problematic areas concerning the work of novices teachers. In this context, the author focuses on the matter of authority and educational styles. It is based not only on the special literature but also on the sound, which took the form of numerous interview, surveys, questionnaires and observation. Teaching styles of lower-secondary and higher-secondary school teachers of the English language

This thesis deals primarily with teaching styles - a topic that has not been greatly discussed in Czech pedagogical literature so far. Based on both Czech and foreign sources, this paper identifies and describes in detail various aspects of teaching styles and presents several approaches to study them. Moreover, it puts the above-mentioned topic in a context of other related concepts, such as teaching method, teachers' beliefs etc. It provides an overview of several teaching styles typologies designed by mostly American authors. The empirical part introduces an original research based on both quantitative and qualitative approach. It presents a detailed study of six selected teachers of the English language and based on their responses identifies certain aspects of different teaching styles. The thesis also reveals some of their views and opinions of their profession.
Developing of pupils' competence to cooperate

The aim of this thesis is to describe and explain the factors which affect formation and development of pupils' competence to cooperate across all grades of lower primary school. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes various factors which affect pupils' competence to cooperate - on the side of pupil and teacher. The practical part contains the results of research that explains how teacher builds and develops the pupil's competence to cooperate in each grade of lower primary school, which style of teaching supports development of this competence and also how is this competence affected by pupils' developmental prerequisites. This thesis contributes to creation of comprehensive knowledge about the development and building pupils' competence to cooperate and it is supported by examples from pedagogical practise. The Use of Didactic Guiding Styles in the Teaching of Sports Games on Secondary Schools in the District of Břeclav

This diploma thesis is focused on the use of didactic guiding styles in the teaching of sports games on secondary schools in the district of Břeclav. The research was made on randomly selected secondary schools by means of a questionnaire and an observation. The questionnaire was given to the teachers of physical education personally after finishing the observations of the lessons of physical education. The results gained by the methods of the questionnaire and the observation are processed into graphs and charts which are supplemented with brief comments. The gained results are given a more detailed commentary in the discussion section.
