The UwB1 program shows us how the multiplication factor changes during the nuclear fuel combustion process in the reactor. Based on the results, one concept was then selected.
The development of depressive symptomatology, burnout and lifestyle in the Czech population - in years 2014-2020
Vňuková, Martina ; Ptáček, Radek (advisor) ; Bob, Petr (referee) ; Fischer, Slavomil (referee)
Introduction It is clear from the literature that depressive disorder is closely related to lifestyle, however the relationship between burnout and lifestyle remains unclear. The aim of this study was to present a comprehensive overview of depressive symptoms, burnout and lifestyle over the years. Furthermore, this study looks at the relationship between burnout, depressive symptomatology and lifestyle and seeks to clarify the extent to which burnout can be explained by these variables. Methods Data collection took place in three waves. The first data collection was in 2014 (October/November), the second in 2017 (March) and the third in 2020 (March). The STEM/MARK agency conducted the data collection and collected answers from a representative sample of respondents using the CAWI method - computer-assisted questioning. These respondents were selected from the European National Panel. Because the target group was adults (18-65 years), an online survey was chosen. Internet penetration in this target population is sufficient and it was not necessary to use a combination of methodologies. Results All 3 data collections identically show that for the model explaining burnout statistically significant variables are: age, depression and fatigue during the day. Other variables related to healthy lifestyles...

School psychologist's work in teacher's burnout syndrome
Bartoňová, Anna ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Pavlas Martanová, Veronika (referee)
This thesis deals with the work of school psychologists in the field of teachers burnout syndrom. The purpose of this study is to describe how the school psychologists perceive burnout syndrome, how they contribute in its prevention and solving this problem in schools. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of school psychology according to current Czech law and available studies. The focus is on the work of school psychologists with teachers. The following chapters describe burnout syndrome, its causes, symptoms, prevention and how to handle it. The focus is on the teachers, whose job can be risky due to burnout syndrome. The practical part includes the results of qualitative research. The research was derived through interviews with 11 school psychologists (10 women and 1 man). According to my analysis I found that the school psychologists view burnout syndrom as a genuine problem and also recognise that being a teacher can be a risky occupation. They do not have any appropriate diagnostic tools to detect the professional satisfaction of the teachers. In some cases they monitor the situation at school. While working, they both consciously and unconsciously contribute to the prevention of the teachers burnout syndrome. When the teachers know that the psychologists are there for them, it...
Burnout syndrome of teachers
Vaňková, Lenka ; Trpišovská, Dobromila (advisor) ; Michálková, Lucie (referee)
The diploma thesis is concerned with the burnout syndrome in the case of teachers at elementary schools in Prague. The main target is to define the rate of burnout among teachers according to the grade of the school, level of education and the length of their practice. Also their sex and age were evaluated. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the specifics of teachers' profession with their extra requirements. There is drawn a comparison between the teachers at the 1st and the 2nd grade focused on the difficulty of their profession connected to the burnout syndrome. There are also defined the stressful situations which influent the burnout syndrome. The problem of burnout syndrome is described in general and aimed at the teachers, too. The practical part contents the empirical research of data obtained from the written questionnaire - quantitative method. The data were processed and analysed with a computer programme. I checked the result reliance on sex, age, level of education, length of practice and the grade of the school where the teacher affects. I compared my results with specialized literature. The results of the research have shown that the burnout syndrome is influenced by sex, level of education and the grade of the school. On the other hand it is not...
Humor as a protective factor of the occupational stress of teachers
Vertelmanová, Hedvika ; Štětovská, Iva (advisor) ; Morávková Krejčová, Lenka (referee)
This bachelor's thesis offers a brief overview of theories and surveys made in the areas of occupational stress, defence mechanisms and humor. The author is trying to find and indicate the connections between these areas. This paper goes from the general issue of stress to the posibilities of defending against it. Furthermore, it focuses specifically on humor. It offers an overview of the general theories of humor, and it concentrates on the possible uses of humor as a way of dealing with mental overload. The goal of the practical part of this thesis is to examine the ways in which university teachers use humor. The purpose of this examination is to find ways for improving the mechanisms through which teachers deal with stress.
Motivational and demotivational factors in the profession of a general nurse
Hanousková, Jindřiška ; Heczková, Jana (advisor) ; Di Cara, Veronika (referee)
This thesis discusses the motivational and demotivational factors that influence the work of nurses and their sense of satisfaction. The aim of the research is to map the motivational and demotivational factors that affect work performance of the Kolin Regional Hospital. The research's chose quantitative method was done by survey. The questionaire and it's contents were prepared by the author. The creation of the questionaire was based upon several similar surveys. Based on the author's research, it was found that interpersonal relationships among nurses were among the most powerful motivational factors; conversely, dysfunctional interpersonal relationships were the strongest motivational factors for changing employers. Another one of the strongest motivational factors was positive feedback from the patients. Since the research was quantitative in nature and covered the entire hospital, it is the author's opinion that the study should be repeated periodically and further focus on individual departments to better determine motivational and demotivational factors that affect work performance and overall job satisfaction. It is also suggested by the author that further research be conducted to compare outcomes of both employees and employers. keywords: nurse, research, motivation, demotivation,...
Burn-out of teacher's
Petříková, Olga ; Trpišovská, Dobromila (advisor) ; Michálková, Lucie (referee)
ABSTRAC The theme of this dissertation work is teachers' burnout syndrome. The theoretical part contains information from scientific literature concerning terms: burning out, exhaustion and stress, and shows their causes and symptoms. Teacher's personality is described from points of view of typology, professional demands, burnout syndrome and it is also explained how to prevent this syndrome. The empirical part of the work is represented by the research on various types of Prague schools. The standardized questionnaire Burnout Measure adopted from authors Ayal Pines and Elliot Aronson is used on that matter.
The status of caregivers in the context of the Social Services Act
Štollová, Dana ; Čabanová, Bohumila (advisor) ; Mlejnková, Kristýna (referee)
The work titled "Rank of caring persons in the context of the social services law" analyses the situation of caring persons during the care. The work follows the question of discrimination and social-economic exclusion of caring persons in the Czech Republic on the basis of executed research analyse. The rank of caring persons is not legally embedded in any legal regulation. However, this results into the fact, that there is neither range of duties nor the law or social benefits in the case of sickness, and the old age pension scheme is very limited, too. This work brings suggestions of measures and solutions of these problems so that family and intergeneration solidarity and rules of subsidiarity would be supported, and at the same time the social and economic discrimination of caring persons in the Czech Republic.
Sensitivy analysis of the influence of manufacturing inaccuracies on the nuclear fuel reactivity
Sedlák, Martin ; Katovský, Karel (referee) ; Novotný, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with a sensitivity analysis of the influence of manufacturing inaccuracies on the reactivity of nuclear fuel. Sensitivity analysis has been done for fuel assembly TVSA-T, for nuclear reactors VVER-1000. Particularly, for fuel rod of type tvel - without burnable absorbers. Thirty three combinations of maximal and minimal of manufacturing parameters were simulated in SCALE environment. Changes of multiplication coefficient in dependence on burnup for 5 combinations have been also studied. It has been found that the most significant influence on the reactivity has the accuracy of enrichment and outer diameter of cladding. It has also been found that influence of manufacturing inaccuracies is not constant during burnup. The benefit of the thesis is determining the effects of individual inaccuracies on the reactivity and the fact that their influence is not constant during burnup.
