Web Application for Simple Management of Deadlines
Šmajzrová, Kateřina ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This work solves the creation of a simple web application that allows one administrator to easily manage his tasks, which he enters to his colleagues or students. The following text describes the design of the user interface and the database. I had solved this problem using the PHP framework Symfony, several scripts are written in Javascript, CSS framework Bootstrap was used to design the website. An important part of this work is user testing, data was obtained mainly through questionnaires, or personal consultation, and the results are in this thesis. After each testing phase, the existing version was improved based on the obtained data, bugs were fixed and the user interface was improved. The main benefit of the application is the simplification of assigning task to larger groups of people, it can be used for example by teachers or camp leaders. It will provide a quick overview of who has already fulfilled the tasks.

Language for High-Level Description of User Interface Requirements
Application Assessment and Proposal for Improvement
Svoboda, Jiří ; Mezera, Lukáš (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
The subject of this master’s thesis is a software application assessment followed by proposal of modifications that should contribute to improving the application. The thesis includes theoretical background necessary for general knowledge of the problem, thorough analysis of the current situation and proposal of solution, which includes decision about necessity of modifications for selected application parts and proposal of specific modifications. The solution also includes recommendation about testing methods that should be used to test the impact of the specified modifications.
Web Search Engine of Pets Registration
Zaklová, Kristýna ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work was to design and create a web-based search engine that allows users to search for records of registered pets in real-time. The solution performs queries to all the available domestic registries in one easy step instead of manually searching them individually. Due to the high number of such services, people may not be aware of their existence. In such a case, they may not be able to find the owner of the animal. The presented solution provides an information system based on the Symfony framework. The system creates and sends HTTP requests to all the registries. The functionality and usability of the system were tested by automated tests and selected users who provided feedback. The main benefit of the system is its user-friendly user interface, which can be used by veterinary clinics, shelters, police, and other parties working with animals and looking up their registrations.
State of charge prediction of lead acid batteries
Chochola, Ondřej ; Bača, Petr (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
The general aim of the thesis is a detailed examination of battery charging condition possibility of lead-acid accumulator with the help of pulse current method. The methodology consists of experimental cell testing by pulse battery charging and pulse battery discharging during a progressive change of charging and discharging current as well as charging and discharging time change. The testing procedure proceeds at a various battery charging condition. Principal aim of this work is to compare final voltage dependencies and to establish the usability of pulse current method to determine battery charging condition.
Web Application for Elementary Schools
Piják, Lukáš ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
