The ability to assess the physical endurance of students
Bohata, Pavel ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hlavička, Petr (referee)
Title: The ability to assess the physical endurance of students Objectives: Goal of this bachelor's thesis is to diagnose the endurance assumptions and determine the values of body mass index of students at second degree of primary schools. Another goal is in analyzing the results of students with common range of education and students with extended range of music education and aesthetics. Subsequently will follow comparison of analyzed results with goal of finding out statistical difference which is significant between endurance assumptions and the body mass index. Methods: The thesis is conducted in the form of quantitative research. The level of endurance assumptions is determined by multi-stage fitness test (Leger test) and by the values of BMI based on anthropometric characteristics. Results are evaluated in a form of histograms and tables. Analysis is performed by using a F-test and a t- test. The choosen test samples are students of two schools which first one is with common range of education and the second one is with extended range of music education and aesthetics. Resulsts: From evaluated and compared results is obvious that there is no statistically significant difference and therefore can't be said that students with extended music education and aesthetics would reach worse results in...
Milk and milk products in the diet of Youth (11 - 15 aged) of Primary School Domažlice, Komenského 17
Rybárová, Petra ; Váchová, Alena (advisor) ; Kovaříková, Miroslava (referee)
This thesis is concerned on the theme Milk and dairy products in nutrition of pupils aged 11 to 15 years. The theoretical part is based on the chemical composition of milk of general aspect and there are characterized some chosen kinds of dairy products and their effects on human health. The practical part is concerned on the research of being some statistically significant differences in consumption of milk and dairy products of the point of view of gender, age and access to milk and diary products in the families. The research is further based on the finding of the levels of probands'knowledge about the composition and the influence of milk to the human organism. The research sample is formed by 240 pupils of Secondary school in Domažlice, Komenského 17. The results show neither the gender, age or access to milk and diary products in the families do not affect the consumption of milk and dairy products of individual probands. The education unit whose aim is to increase the knowledge about milk of second graders in elementary schools is proposed on basis of identified facts.
Participants' satisfaction with Salomon Trail Running Cup 2014 sports event
Kochová, Barbora ; Šíma, Jan (advisor) ; Janák, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Participants' satisfaction with Salomon Trail Running Cup 2014 sports event Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse current level of customer satisfaction with sports event, find out their opinions and potential shortcomings in each running event by using questionnaire survey. Define any problem areas and suggest appropriate management recommendations by evaluating empirical data obtained from own market research. This would lead to improvement of runners' satisfaction with this sports event. Partial goal of this diploma thesis is to find potential coherence between customers' satisfaction and whether they attended Salomon Trail Running Cup for the first time or repeatedly. Methods: Quantitative questionnaire research was used to obtain data from respondents. Respondents were interviewed either in person or in writing. Informal interviews were made with the management of the sports event. T-test method was used to find potential coherence between customers' satisfaction and their attendance in the past Salomon Trail Running Cup events. Results: Marketing research showed that runners were mostly satisfied with this sports event. On the other hand several important problematic areas were discovered that management of this sports event should work on to fulfil runners'...
Vývoj zlatých rezerv členských států eurozóny v důsledku ekonomických změn
Zavoral, Adam
The thesis examines the causality between the adoption of the euro and changes in gold reserves of member states of euro area. It deals with the economic situation of each country and the impact of individual economic circumstances on changes in the amount of gold reserves. Pair t-test is used to verify causality. For examining other possible reasons of any changes, the development of golden reserves in whole euro area and golden reserves in top three non EU states with biggest in-creases in their golden reserves is examined.
Simulace venkovního osvětlení sportovišť pomocí vícečetných optických parametrů metodou t-test
Nath, Dipayan ; Mazumdar, Saswati ; Mukhopadhyay, Sudeshna
The standard lighting design softwares are essentially calculating tools without any optimizing features. Use of these softwares lead to trial & error based iterative design approach. This however produces a set of interim design solutions consisting of appropriate or inappropriate design cases. In this paper, a statistical method, t-test, is successfully applied on these interim design solutions. Hence the list of Determinant Luminaires (DLs) and corresponding Optimized Aiming Angles (OAAs) are identified to enhance multiple optical parameters for the inappropriate design cases.
Load influence on baroreflex sensitivity
Szöllösi, Tomáš ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The topic of my Bachelor thesis is focused on through acquaintance problems of load influence on baroreflex sensitivity, to creat measuring protocol and implementation of this measurement. In this project, I examined how baroreceptors and then baroreflex work. I also note with physiology of blood circulation, and I examined the different types of measurement baroreceptor sensitivity. I did the measurement by measuring protocol. I evaluated the results using spectral methods and processed in Matlab. Finally, I have different results statistically evaluated using T-test.
EEG Signal Analysis during the Stroop Test
Tolaszová, Eva ; Roman,, Robert (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with the measurement of biological signals for the effect of psychological burden. To monitor this effect was elected Stroop test, which is in the psychology used to detect disorders of attention and concentration. EEG and ECG signals during Stroop test were obtained using the EEG recording systém, in the context of research evoked potentials. As a part of the work it has been designed custom application for analyzing and interpreting data and statistical analysis by t-test.
Design of experiments for quality optimization
Havlásek, Radim ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Radovan (advisor)
This thesis is aimed to Design of Experiments methodology. Main purpose of this thesis is to create detailed materials for lessons of Design of Experiments in Quality Control courses. Thesis contains case studies which are applicable for education purposes. Design of Experiments has been applied for solder joints quality evaluation. Solder joints have been modeled in software ANSYS and finite element method has been applied for thermomechanical stress evaluation.
