Kompatibilita cílů udržitelnosti ekonomik
Nedoma, Ondřej
The subject of this thesis is to examine the interrelationships between selected SDG indicators using correlation analysis. Pairwise correlations between all selected indicators in each country are calculated. The results are presented in terms of the number of non-significant, positive and negative correlations. The number of correlations indicates how many countries have a given correlation result for a given pair of indicators. The main finding is that the indicators within each SDG are not as correlated as often presented. Furthermore, indicators were identified that are negatively correlated with each other in most countries. Finally, it was found that social indicators are improving in most countries, but this is not the case for some environmental and ecological indicators.
Combined preparatives with encapsulated antimicrobial component
Kneblová, Kateřina ; Bendová, Agáta (referee) ; Márová, Ivana (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis deals with the preparation and characterization of liposome nanoparticles that have been functionalized by the active substance and subsequently tested for their synergistic effect against microorganisms. In the theoretical part, a research focused on an overview of antimicrobials agents and on encapsulation techniques. In the experimental part, the method of sonification was used to prepare liposomes. Natural and synthetic antimicrobial substances were encapsulated into the particles. The size, stability, encapsulation efficiency, antioxidant and antimicrobial activity were determined for the liposomes that were prepared. Antimicrobial activity was tested on the gram-negative strain Esterichia coli, the gram-positive bacteria Micrococcus luteus, and one fungual strains Candida glabrata. Subsequently, a synergistic effect of the active substances was observed, which was demonstrated both when combining a synthetic active substance with a natural one and when combining two natural active substances. The synergistic effect of the encapsulated substances was observed after a longer period of time than that of the synergy of the pure active substrances. Which could find its application in the pharmaceutical industry, in drug delivery, or in the food industry in preservation processes.
Evaluation of possibility of modifying selected part of public lighting network for EV charging
Hýsek, David ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the concept of smart cities in the context of motivation for the use of the synergy of public lighting network and charging points. The thesis provides an overview of projects from the Czech Republic and abroad focusing on the adaptation of the urban public lighting network for charging electric vehicles. Different variants of charging station installations and their management are discussed. Another important topic is the selection of a suitable location for charging stations and the concept of synergistic connection of these stations with the existing public lighting network. The thesis proposes scenarios for using the existing public lighting network for charging electric vehicles and scenarios for bringing a parallel cable to this network in selected Brno locations. The aim is to optimize the efficiency and performance of the public lighting network and at the same time provide a charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The results of the thesis represent a valuable contribution to urban planning and the development of smart cities that focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility. The synergy between the public lighting network and charging points represents a potential for efficient use of infrastructure in the urban environment while contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Multiplication of shape as a means of constructing reality
Málková, Helena ; Magidová, Markéta (advisor) ; Čech, Viktor (referee)
Málková, H.: Multiplication of shape as a means of constructing reality. [Diplom thesis] Prague 2017 - Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, 123 pages. The diploma thesis focuses on the theme of creation of systems, structures and constructions in visual reality. The theoretical part is aimed at the possibilities of multiplication, its growth into space or a plane, while regarding creation of plastic arts by selected artists from the field of fine arts. The practical part introduces author's conception of the topic by the means of photographic medium. Structure is a crucial phenomena in possible understanding of visual reality. It has prerequisites for development of transcendental thinking. We can discover it throughout the whole universe as its unifying element. The findings from the theoretical part are used as basis for didactic activities. The didactic part presents the realized art assignments, which are a part of the implementation of the research. The thesis brings findings and conclusions within the framework of the results of creation and teaching of the topic of spatial composition of multiplied form within a coherent object. KEY WORDS: construction, structure, movement, shape, space, material variability, racionality, photography, object creation,...
Determining The Existence of Financial Synergy Effects of Consolidating Units in The Selected Industry
Němcová Kotoučková, Monika ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of merger, the individual possibilities, which can be realized. Furthermore, the interest is directed towards the motives leading to this intention and the impact of these activities. One of the strongest motives of mergers is the synergistic effect, whose existence in the selected economic sector is the primary aim of this work or the assessment of its existence in the selected economic sector in specific business entities.
Determining The Existence of Financial Synergy Effects of Consolidating Units in The Selected Industry
Fridrichová, Michaela ; PhD, Zdráhal Ivo, (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The master’s thesis aims to evaluate the existence of the financial synergistic effect concerning consolidating companies in the construction industry area. For this purpose three appropriate financial indicators, which are to be calculated separately for the parent company and the concern, will be proposed. The subsequent comparison of these values will enable us to determine if the positive financial synergistic effects were achieved in the researched area.
