How will we live together?
Wintner, Roman ; Kocián, Václav (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor)
In my thesis How We Will Live Together I deal with the phenomenon of participatory housing. The first phase of the thesis is a research in which I analyse types of community housing from abroad, I examine the history of collective housing in the Czech Republic. I focus on different possibilities of participation within housing, which I demonstrate with real examples. I try to point out the still insufficient support of similarly oriented projects that could have a positive impact on the development of the housing issue in the country. In the second phase of the thesis, I develop a characterization of a fictive group of people, a community, on which I try to demonstrate the functioning and feasibility of a participatory housing project and the bottom-up model. The result is an architectural design on the site of the former sugar factory in Šlapanice, taking into account the interests and needs of the site and the community. It is a kind of reflection pointing out the possibilities and variability of the implementation of such a project in specific Czech conditions. I am basing my ideas on a foreign model, which I am trying to transfer to the territory of a more relaxed development. An important consideration in the work is given to the questions of the future in connection with housing. In the project I am working with the design of 5 different buildings, one of which also serves as a common centre for the community. The buildings are characterised by different approaches to design according to the individuality of the group of owners. I bring further considerations of possible functioning through the different zoning of the plots without strict subdivision and the different approach to the use of cars. As a paradoxical response of future housing, I bring a return to tradition and customs similar to the village environment. Not only in connection with cultivation, poultry farming, escape from hecticness, but especially with an orientation towards real values and healthy relationships, which can be mediated precisely by participatory housing.
Granery in Slaný
Pániková, Natália ; Valový, Přemysl (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
ANNOTATION The task of the bachelor's thesis was to verify the possibility of using a listed Baroque granary in the town of Slaný in the Kladno region for the needs of local residents. By analyzing the place in the context of the city and the wider environment, I came to the conclusion that it is worth preserving the granary in its majestic form for future generations. The possible overuse of the functional use of the old granary beyond the borders of the region is expected in the future. It is also considered with the possibility of conversion to current needs and use in the future. The granary has always been here for the local people and as long as it stands, it will continue to complement the unmistakable character of the city.

Molnári, Daniel ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
The possibilities of cross-border transfer of company's seat within the European Union represent contemporary issues in the European company law. Currently, there is a large development in this field. The development is mainly based on judgements of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Over the last decades, cross-border transfer of company's seat has been the subject of controversy. The main reason is the lack of political interest in this issue. On the other hand, some of arguments relate to the difference between the approaches of the member states and the controversy between two main conflicts of laws theories: the incorporation theory and the real seat theory. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the possibilities of cross-border transfer of company's seat within the European Union in the context of private international law. The thesis is composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of corporate mobility. The first part of this thesis explains the theoretical background of the topic and defines the basic terminology. The Slovak political parties and the elections in 2016
Marjenka, Ján ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Švec, Kamil (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the topic of cleavages and their development in the Slovakian party system and society. The thesis chronologically interprets the evolution from the year 1990 until the current years, specifically until the 2016 election. In the beginning, the Slovakian party system and society were split up, similarly to other post-communist countries going from communism to anticommunism. When this topic is solved, other traditional cleavages come to mind as they are as well described by classical theoreticians. These cleavages can be activated by themselves, or become less important through time and social and political development. Other studies or thesis of Slovakian authors prove this idea. This known development is usually only addressed until the year 2012, that is why the main aim of this thesis is to analyze, continue with other results and find out how the situation regarding this issue has evolved before the election in 2016. It is important to analyze cleavages and other topics which divide the society and political parties from the point of view of the effect the cleavages have on the stability of the party system. It influences the number of them and the relationships between them which can be cumulative or cross cutting. Since then it is possible to determine...
