Organising of sports event - ISF YOUTH World Cup 2009

Title: Organising of sports event - ISF Youth World Cup 2009 Objectives: The objective of the diploma thesis is to analyse the problems of organising sports events. For these purposes I have chosen ISF Youth World Cup of softball. On the basis of reached information I will find out failures and mistakes made during organising and I will suggest their solutions. Methods: For reaching the objectives of this thesis I have chosen interviewing, informal interview, method of case study and also SWOT analysis which analyse strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats which can occure during organising. Results: The diploma thesis shows how to organise a sports event of similar character as ISF Youth World Cup 2009. It reveals the failures and troubles with organising of this tournament and suggests the ways of their correction. Marketing communication of softballclubs fans playing women's Extraleague

Title: Marketing communication woth fans of softball club playing Women Extraleague Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current situation of marketing communication of those two softball clubs playing czech women's Extraleague and to create suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of marketing communication of those clubs and general recommendations for the clubs playing this league. Methods: The results of this work were made thanks to qualitative marketing research. The greatest benefit was brought by method of semi-structure interview with club managers and the questionnaire with fans. For more information about current situation of marketing communication was used analysis of documents, especially websites and social media. Then the SWOT analysis was created on the basis of results of non-structure personal observation and the comparison of marketing communication of those clubs was made on the basis of marketing research. Results: The results confirmed opinions of managers that the most used communication channels include social media, web pages and email communication. On the basis of results were identified individual weaknesses for each club in WOM marketing, sponsoring, merchandising, direct marketing and making games more attractive. For all these marketing...

Thesis name Strategic Development Plan of the SK Joudrs Prague Thesis objective The aim of this diploma thesis is to draw up a strategic plan for the development of Joudrs Prague softball team for the period form 1st October 2015 to 30th September 2018. Methods of work A qualitative interview with the club President, a qualitative interview with the sports manager of the club, an analysis of texts and documents, the SWOT analysis, monitoring, descriptive case study Results An analytic part of the diploma thesis was built on the descriptive case study as well as on monitoring which provided an insight into the internal environment of the club and revealed the opinions of SK Joudrs Prague club members. The included SWOT analysis was developed on the basis of interviews and the dependence among the most important points was summarised in the table. The choice of the strategy resulted from the SWOT analysis. The financial analysis of the club was set up with regard to the interview with the club President and relevant documents. Dietary regime of a softball team during a training camp

Title: Dietary regime of a softball team during a training camp Work objective: The aim of this work is to put together a menu corresponding with energetic and nutritional needs at a training camp for women agend 18 - 25 without specific nutritional preferences using SW FitLinie 5.82. Method: The method of indirect calorimetry was used for establishing the players'energetic needs. Average antropomotoric parameters of the softball players were put into the equation, and the reset was increased by the energy spent at everyday practice according to the corresponing tables. The ratio of basic nutriets (60 % carbohydrate, 25 % fat, 15 % protein) was kept. Sufficient consumption of carbohydrates efore each training session was also taken into account. Results: The daily energetic consumption was fulfilled by an average of 98,90 % which corresponds to approx. 13,725 kJ. The daily consumption according to nutrition needs was set to approx. 490 g of carbohydrate, 91 g of fat, and 122 g of protein. The average precision of carbohydrate intake during the whole training camp was 99,54 % (488 g), there was a slight excess in case of fat - 100,93 % (92 g), and finály the precision of protein was 97,51 % (119 g) for the whole week. Epidemiology of injuries in fastpitch softball

Title: Epidemiology of injuries in men's fastpitch softball Objective: Objective of this thesis is to evidence occurrence of injuries in men's fastpitch softball and focus on each type of injury due to the players position, find out what players do to prevent from injuries and how long it takes them to return on the fields Method: The non-standardized survey with closed questions was used as a method for this research. The survey was made in server survio.com in both Czech and English language and was sent to the world leading softball countries. Data was analysed in World Excel program. Results: The results show that the most common injuries are fractures (15,8 %), torn/tear ligaments or tendons (15 %), sprains (15,4 %) and overstretched muscles (13,5 %). Other types of injuries are also frequented, but the above can be described as the most common. Injuries of the lower limbs are most common (51 %) and specifically injuries of the ankle (23,2 %). Most injuries occur during defensive skills (39,6 %) and during running around bases (36,4 %). In almost one third (28,6 %) of all cases, recovery took 3-4 weeks and more than half (62,3 %) of all injuries occurred during the match. The budget of the Czech Softball Association focusing both on individual budgets and their fulfilling of each representation unit

Title: The budget of the Czech Softball Association focusing both on individual budgets and their fulfilling of each representation unit Objectives: The key objective of this bachelor thesis is to determine the revenues and expenditures of the Czech Softball Association's (further off as ČSA) budget in time, respectively from year 2010 till 2017, and identifying trends in dividing the budget into individual national teams. The priority is to answer the questions asked by the CEO of the ČSA, Gabriel Waage. Methods: Methods of comparison were used in this thesis while comparing secondary data from separate annual budgets. After acquiring and analysing the resulting values, a structured interview with the CEO of the ČSA was done. Obtained information was thoroughly described in following discussion. Results: According to the results of the analysis and information gained from the interview with the CEO of Czech Softball Association, I've come up with some recommendations that could be reconsidered before creating new budgets for following periods. I've mainly focused on the concept of justice in the financial distribution into individual national teams and also on the adequacy of goals which are expected from them.
