Importance of children's play for mental development

The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of play on children's mental development from birth to preschool age. The first chapter is dedicated to general concept of children's play, its definition, the main different approaches to children's play and the basic characteristics of play. The next section describes the main stages of development and play from the birth in the specific periods (newborn, infant, toddler, preschool child) when the exact period is briefly described theoretically and then the most of the work is dedicated to play in this periods. The third section of theoretical part focuses on social groups in which play takes place. In conclusion, the practical part, there is designed research in the field of specifics of children's play preschool institution. Sport in leisure of Dobříš town citizens

Name: Sports in leisure of Dobříš town citizens Goals: The main objective of this thesis is to find out what is the role of sport in leisure activities of citizens of Dobříš. The second goal is to obtain information about which means are used to support sports activities of citizens by city leaders. Methods: In my work, I use methods of empirical social research. I chose a quantitative method of questionnaire survey and qualitative semi-structured interview method because I'm interested in people's as well as the mayor's opinion. Results: The local sports situation has been assessed and analyzed. Thanks to the questionnaire survey, citizens' views on the issues of sports possibilities in Dobříš, their attitude and participation in sport were identified. The data are interpreted and displayed in tables and graphs in a result section, as well as an interview with the mayor. Life on the Streets for Homeless People Aged 18 to 26 in the Capital City of Prague

This thesis primarily aids at describing the living conditions of homeless people aged 18 to 26 in the capital city of Prague. The opening section revolves around various definitions and typologies of homelessness on a broad level. Next, the social services are described. The third part is devoted to the subculture of young homeless people, with an emphasis on the crisis of adolescent development and the influence of primary social groups. The concluding part of this thesis puts homelessness among youth in to perspective and discusses potential strategies for satisfying the basic life needs of this group of people. Czech television and it's content for Generation Y

This thesis focuses on the changes the television industry has undergone in recent years. The aim of the thesis is to define a specific audience group and its preferences: the current generation of young people aged between 15 and 35 who belong to the sociological group called "Generation Y". The thesis contributes to knowledge by examining how the public Czech Television (CT) understands and addresses the needs of this specific audience group.
Inovation of product portfolio using an example of South Moravian region

The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the primary and secondary supply of destination as well as to evaluate the supply of tourism for people with handicap with sensory disabilities and specifically for people with auditory disorders. The next task was to highlight the imperfections and the possibility of developing a supply of destination for people with handicap. Based on the results of the research was created project which provide new options to organizations and preservationist how to customize their offer to handicapped tourists. Opportunities to innovate for people with handicap are many. Aim of this work was to find a way how to identify this poten-tial and how to enforce it.
Social and health aspects of alcohol use in adolescents

The theoretical part of this bachelor's diploma work refers about summarised knowledge from the period of adolescence and its difficulties maintained in human's identity finding. The importance of social group effects is also shown here as well as hazardous factors that lead to adolescents' alcohol abuse. This theoretical part defines health risks of alcohol abuse and emphasizes the importance of prevention. The empirical part brings summarised data that have been extracted from a questionnaire-survey among teenagers in the town of Příbram. The survey is focused on alcohol abusing, means of getting it, general knowledge of the health hazards and family relationships of respondents. Survey results show the alcohol abuse among the adolescents to be alarming. Each of respondents involved in the survey said that he or she has already had an experience with alcohol drinking. According to data extracted from the survey, the first experience with alcohol abusing appears at the age from 10 to 12. It mainly happens during a family occasions. Questions about frequency and regularity of alcohol drinking have also brought some surprising results. About 60 per cent of respondents do not drink alcohol regularly. That makes a difference from widely made surveys. These show an opposite trend.
Dance-social projects

This bachelor study aims to map phenomenon of dancing-social projects with orientation on production specifics. At the same time its aim is to examine and describe educational and social function of dance. A theory part of the study focuses on conceptual gadget form dancing field and social environment, further on domestic dancing-social project Spalicek and british dance group Candoo and organization, which is continualy devoted to this problematic. An analytical part brings analysis of his own project with title Story as way with economical and finacial specific dancing ?social projects. Introduced bachelory study could be helpful material in realization of dancing-social projects.
Analysis of public and private expenditure on health in the ČR between 1995 - 2008

The work deals with public and private expenditure on health in the ČR in 1995 - 2008. Health expenditure (public and private) are analyzed in terms of financing and type of health care. The main aim is to evaluate the effect of net income and distribution according to social groups (workers, self-employed and pensioners), the private expenditure on health.
