Modelling of Babel Routing Protocol
Rek, Vít ; Marek, Marcel (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the simulation of a Babel routing protocol. The goal is to create implementation of simulation model for OMNeT++ simulator. The text includes a description of the protocol and basic principles of computer network simulation in OMNeT++ environment using an INET library. Furthermore, the text discussed existing implementations and submits a proposal of a simulation model, followed by description of its implementation. Finally, the correctness of created model is verified.
Comparison of Distance-Vector Routing Protocol
Cocuľa, Maroš ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This work deals with comparing the distance vector routing protocols. More accurately, protocols EIGRP, RIP and Babel. The aim is to compare information using the simulation OMNeT++, as well as the physical connection. Part of the work is a detailed description of the protocols, simulator OMNeT++ and the libraries INET and ANSAINET. Finally, we summarized the results of experiments and the comparison of protocols with each other.
Routing protocols analysis
Rozsypal, Ondřej ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Kubánková, Anna (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the routing problematics and the routing protocols of the third layer of the ISO/OSI reference model. In the first part of this thesis basic principles of routing are described. The next part explains the differences in routing and the behavior of each internal routing protocol. The last part is dedicated to design of a network used for analysis of each protocol, collection of routing parameters in different conditions between the routers. These parameters are then plotted into graphs and diagrams. Based on this data an analysis of these protocols is made.
Modelling OSPF Routing Protocols Using OMNeT++ Simulator
Danko, Martin ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) is a dynamic, hierarchical routing protocol designed to support routing in TCP/IP networks. There is a deliberate need for large-scale simulation of OSPF protocol in order to understand its dynamics. Content of this bachelor's thesis is modeling and simulation of OSPF protocol in discrete event simulation system OMNeT++. The main focus is to give an insight of the architecture of the existing implementation in module OSPFRouting. The module OSPFRouting is also validated against OSPF implementation on the real routers. Next, the usage of OSPF simulation is demonstrated on the specific experiments.
Modelling IS-IS and TRILL
Marek, Marcel ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
In this thesis, we describe the principles of IS-IS routing protocol. We introduce the current state of implementation of this protocol within the simulation framework OMNeT++. We present the implementation of the IS-IS protocol created within the ANSA project. Moreover, we employ its variant called TRILL that is nowadays deployed as replacement of STP in data-center environment. The aim is to enable the modelling of the protocols without the need having to build physical architecture.
Verification of MANET Routing Protocol potentials in OPNET Modeler environment
Konečný, Daniel ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis called "Verification of MANET routing protocol potentials in OPNET modeler enviroment" is focused on MANET network. The first part is introducing routing protocols that are most used in OM. The second part of that work is strictly aimed to DSR routing protocol, its parametrs and configuration in OM. There is also discribed DSR process model. The most important part of that thesis is extension of data unit of DSR protocol and use that unit for transmision of information that are stored inside of its structure. As the extended unit was chosen Route Request packet that include new variable. The simulations are proving succesfull traffic of extension packet between nods with ability to store/read from RREQ extended structure.
Modelling of EIGRP Routing Protocol
Bloudíček, Jan ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
The network simulation allows analysis of the computer networks behavior and configured protocols. This thesis focuses on the EIGRP routing protocol and its integration into the OMNeT++ simulation enviroment. The text includes a detailed description of the protocol and its configuration on Cisco devices. Furthermore, the text focuses on design of extension that supports routing protocol. The following describes implementation of the protocol according to design. Finally, the implemented solution is compared with the output of real devices.
Routing in Wireless Networks
Janský, Václav ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with routing protocols for ad hoc wireless networks. First ad hoc networks are introduced. Routing protocols are then classified according to several criteria. Four routing protocols algorithms are described. They are proactive protocols DSDV and CGSR, reactive DSR and hybrid ZRP. Next AODV routing protocol is described in details. Advantages and disadvantages of AODV and two variants of AODV are also introduced. A new protocol is designed based on the disadvantages of the AODV protocol. This work also describes the implementation and integration of the new protocol in the ns-2 simulator. Results of the simulations are presented.

Voice Service in Integrated Networks
Yeftsifeyeu, Aliaksandr ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The master’s thesis presents routing protocols, SIP handshake, describes modern VoIP networks and its features. Thesis is primary focused on networks with integrated MPLS. The most known advantages and disadvantages were described of modern network based on such technology. Further, networks and a router with installed Cisco Call Manager Express 7.1 were configured, which is provided by CISCO. For recreating of fully working telephone network IP PBX10 has been used from SMC Networks. For connection between different phones within these integrated networks, SIP trunk was configured on SMC PBX10 as well as on router, which is connecting three configured Cisco IP phones. Each phone has its own number according to the dial plan. For calls from one network to another the special pattern has been established, so the number of each caller can be easily identified by added digit. On one of the CISCO routers was shown a configuration of MPLS and OSPF protocols. With an analyzer VePAL TX300e, the lab network has been measured to analyze QoS parameters of the network according to standard RFC 2544. Thesis also gives references to lab devices, which have been used accordingly to the work.
