Safe school - prevention program of preschool childhood injuries

This bachelor thesis is aimed at preventive action against children injuries, which could occur in nursery school. Goal of this bachelor thesis is found out if workers of nursery school are educated in prevention of preschool injuries and if they are capable to provide first aid. Comperation of this knowlage was focused on numery schools in Prague 6. In theoretical part bachelor thesis are described most common preschool injuries happend in nursery school, active and passive primary, secondary prevention childhood injuries, injuries treatment and first aid providing. Practical part is aimed at collection of information from questionaire survey, which was identitified to educationalists in some chosen nursary school in Prague 6. Prevention of addictions among pupils with hearing disability

The thesis deals with the prevention of dependencies for pupils with hearing disabilities. The work describes the specifics of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention and focuses on the State of awareness and of preventive measures on the individual schools for the hearing impaired in Prague. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part, which is processed primarily on the basis of the study of literature, contains a general treatise on the auditory disability, a description of the different kinds of dependencies with their consequences and an overview of the possible types of prevention. The practical part is devoted to research through interviews and a questionnaire, which is focused on finding, comparing and quantitative evaluation of the awareness of pupils of various dependencies and their prevention in schools for the hearing impaired in Prague. BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE Title: Physiotherapy in Patients after Acute Myocardial Infarction and Aspects Influencing their Convalescence Abstract: This bachelor's thesis deals with physiotherapy and the application principles of secondary prevention in the hospital phase of rehabilitation in patients after acute myocardial infarction. The aim of this thesis is to describe the physiotherapeutical management in the hospital phase and the ways in which a physiotherapist can influence a lifestyle change of the patient. The design of this work is theoretical-practical. In the theoretical section, facts about the anatomy of the heart and myocardial infarction are summarised. The main chapters are devoted to the physiotherapeutical management in the hospital phase and to the aspects of secondary prevention which deal with risk factors of ischaemic heart disease. In the practical section, the course of the physiotherapeutical management is described in two case studies, as well as preventive intervention focusing on quitting smoking, change of dietary habits, increase in physical activity and the screening for depression and other psychosocial risk factors in two patients after acute myocardial infarction during their hospital stay in the General Teaching Hospital in Prague. Adherence to the Principles of Secondary Prevention in Patiens After Myocardial Infarction in the Karlovy Vary Region.

This thesis deals with the attitudes of patients after myocardial infarction in compliance with secondary prevention. Type of work is theoratical - empirical. The theoretical part deals with risk factors for myocardial infarction, the definition of myocardial infarction, pathogenesis and etiology of, as well as with nursing care of patiens after myocardial infarction and the importace of patient education. The empirical part is realized by means of questionnaires. A group of consists of men and women over 18 years, all after the myocardial infarction within 2 years. The aim of this study is to examine how the principles of secondary preventions are adhered, how many patiens are compliant or not to the recommendation and what is the largest area of problems in the secondary prevention. The importence of the work lies in the notice of the importace of respekt for secondary prevention after myocardial infarction in the interest of patient health and any suggestions to improve patient educations efforts. I found that about half of the respondents are able to adher to the guideliness of secondary prevention and the other are not to do it.
