Influence of Thomas and Jan Atonín Bata on the town Otrokovice development

Theme that I dealt in my dissertation with, concerns of my hometown Otrokovice and also to the region in which the city is located. Describes the development and building of this place,and especially of city districtsBaťov,which took place here in the 20th and 30 the last century. Under the leadership of brothers Tomas and Jan Antonín Bata here arose ideal industrial town, the only of its kind in the country. This is not qustion just about new town plan, but also a new type of labor and social relations. In my work I deal with not only the sociological impact of this process on indigenous peoples but also a new way of educating young people, the concept of discipline and the phenomenon of collective consciousness. I also asked myself about the sustainable development of Down Otrokovice to the environmental and economic, and their possible future. There is also a comparison with the nearby Zlin, where Bata began the process of transforming. Mentioned town is still the center of the region and tradition bearers of this system.
Statistical analysis of Havlíčkův Brod town development

The bachelor thesis focuses on statistical analysis of Havlíčkův Brod town development between years 2001-2014. The theoretical part covers the findings from the sphere of public administration at the municipal and regional level. The following section is about the specifics of the Havlíčkův Brod. In further, the analytical part deals with the financial indicators such as revenue and expenditures. Moreover, this section looks at the town development, its education system, agriculture, industry and public health. To fulfill the purpose, an analysis of the time series was conducted, predominantly with application of elementary characteristics of them, and also with the usage of the base index. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis summarizes the findings of the research displaying the strengths and weaknesses of the city administration. It also presents ideas pursuing the possible enhancement of the development in the town Havlíčkův Brod.
Coworkingová, kreativní a inovační centra v Brně a jejich význam pro rozvoj města

The diploma thesis is focused on coworking, creative and innovative centres in Brno and their importance for the development of the city. The aim is to describe the current state of these centres, then to analyze their impact on the development of the city and determine their contribution to potential users. The first part deals with the definition of basic business concepts and business environment in Czech republic and is also dedicated to the importance of innovation and creativity within organization. It also discusses the historical development of coworking, creative and innovative centres in Brno and Czech republic, their definitions with paying attention on the vision and values of the entities, principles of their functioning, then showing and examples of realized projects and benefits. The practical part is devoted to the actual quantitative and qualitative research, evaluation and formulation of the final recommendations, which are focused not only on the further development of these centres, but also to established deeper cooperation with the city administration, so that there is a synergic growth between city and its inhabitants.
Communication strategy of cities, municipalities and regions

The main subject of the thesis Communication strategy of cities, municipalities and regions is to introduce the theoretical concept of marketing communication of municipalities, cities and regions and to evaluate the role of communication in development of cities and regions. The first part of the thesis is aimed on the issue of impact of marketing communication on the development of municipalities, cities and regions in theory. The second part is aimed on evaluation of communication of the town of Lovosice with its target groups with an emphasis on residents. Within this part of the thesis there are analyzed particular components of the communication of the brand of the town of Lovosice through analysis of the town environment, analysis of perception of the town by residents by exploration among residents and analysis of particular communication channels used by the town. The town of Lovosice has not drawn up any strategy paper overaching the communication of the town, nor sufficiently secures the area by adequate staffing. The communication of the town is not effective - it lacks integrity and consistence. If the town intends to be more successfull in building its brand, it should develop strategic plan of the communication and sufficiently staff this area. The town should implement interactive communication with the residents based on the regular exchange of informations, and then to base the development activities the obtained informations.
Urban economy and development of the town

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to describe urban economy and development of the town of Soběslav and to review the existing tendencies. The work deals particularly with the period between years 2001 and 2009. In order to accomplish the target of the work it compares selected indicators with the same indicators of ten similar towns. As the source of information there are used primarily the data accessible in the system ARIS of the Ministry of Finance and also data of the Czech Statistical Office. The urban economy issue is focused on budgetary incomes which the Town Office can influence and the area of expenses is targeted especially to capital expenditures. Generally the thesis places in this part principal emphasis on the capital budget as it is significant also from the town development point of view. Some attention is devoted also to the issue of indebtedness. The part dealing with the town development describes in particular demographic data which are the most frequently used and quite a reliable indicator. Further there is mentioned the issues of flat building, unemployment and business entities. The work primarily intends to provide both the town representatives and the citizens with the survey of urban economy and development of the town of Soběslav. On the basic of the carried out analysis it is possible to make a conclusion that the budgetary control can be considered as very good. The positive aspect is that the Town Office takes use of possibilities leading to incomes improvements and in case of capital expenditures they proceed ponderously. The area of development can be regarded as satisfying too.
Social - Economic Analysis of the town of Vimperk

For my bachelor thesis I chose the subject of Social -- Economic Analysis of the town of Vimperk. The objective of the document is a complete analysis of the current situation in the town. In the following chapters, I will focus on the history of the town, the structure of the inhabitants, the town's infrastructure which will include transportation, housing, education, culture, sport, business and environment. Vimperk has an attractive location due to its proximity to the German border and Sumava National Park. Therefore, I will research the level and the intensity of tourism. I will provide a questionnaire on the tourist popularity of the town with a focus on tourist satisfaction and references and suggestions for an improvement of the tourism in Vimperk. I will do a comparison of the planned projects funded by the European Union funds and their possible future utilization. At the end of my document, I will provide SWOT analysis related to the town's strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats for Vimperk including areas for the future development of the town.
Marketing města Jihlavy

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o využití marketingu v oblasti řízení rozvoje města. Práce se věnuje především třem hlavním cílovým skupinám města (obyvatelům, podnikatelům a turistům). Teoretická část popisuje vývoj městského marketingu, srovnání komerčního a městského marketingu, tvorbu strategie a marketingový mix města. Obsah aplikační části tvoří nejprve charakteristika města Jihlavy, dále situační analýza a tvorba strategie města. Hlavní částí práce je zpracování marketingového mixu města Jihlavy. V závěru práce je zhodnocen přístup města Jihlavy k marketingu a jsou také navržena zlepšení současného stavu.
