Bakalářská práce se zabývá statistickou analýzou rozvoje města Havlíčkův Brod v letech 2001-2014. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty odborné poznatky z oblasti veřejné správy, obce a regionu. Další část se věnuje charakteristice Havlíčkova Brodu. Analytická část práce se pak zaměřuje na ukazatele z finanční oblasti, jakou jsou příjmy a výdaje a dále na rozvoj města, školství, zemědělství, průmysl a zdravotnictví. Vše bylo zkoumáno analýzou časových řad, převážně elementárními charakteristikami časových řad a bazickým indexem. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou shrnuty výsledky zkoumání, silné a slabé stránky města a možné návrhy a doporučení ke zlepšení dalšího rozvoje Havlíčkova Brodu. The bachelor thesis focuses on statistical analysis of Havlíčkův Brod town development between years 2001-2014. The theoretical part covers the findings from the sphere of public administration at the municipal and regional level. The following section is about the specifics of the Havlíčkův Brod. In further, the analytical part deals with the financial indicators such as revenue and expenditures. Moreover, this section looks at the town development, its education system, agriculture, industry and public health. To fulfill the purpose, an analysis of the time series was conducted, predominantly with application of elementary characteristics of them, and also with the usage of the base index. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis summarizes the findings of the research displaying the strengths and weaknesses of the city administration. It also presents ideas pursuing the possible enhancement of the development in the town Havlíčkův Brod.
