Automation of production machine operation and robotic deburring within external pneumatic tools
Procházka, Jakub ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
The task of this master thesis is to design a robotic workcell for an automation of the production machine operation followed by robotic deburring of the parts within external pneumatic tools. There is chosen the most suitable concept of the workplace layout of its included sub-components based on the input parameters. The first part is dedicated to design or select sub-components of the workcell as input magazine, robots, end effectors, deburring station etc. Afterwards, there is created a simulation model of the workcell in Process Simulate software for the verification of demanded cycle times and workcell functionality. The final design has to meet safety standards and technical and economical evaluation is permormed at the end of the thesis.
Design and implementation of a control program for a robotic cell
Kořenek, Miroslav ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Parák, Roman (advisor)
The aim of an bachelor's thesis is a design and implementation of a control program for a robotic cell. The introduction describes an area of robotic handling workplaces and a division of the area topic. The next chapter deals with Omron compny and its products, especially automation control devices. The next part presents a Fanuc company and its products, especially industrial robots. The following chapter deals with the purpose and design of the robotic workcell and also with a description of system integration. The topic of a last part of the work is the design of control programs for Omron PLC and Fanuc industrial robot. Follows a visualization proposal for an Omron HMI screen. The last part is devoted to testing the designed solution with a simulation of robot with subsequent implementation and testing of the solution on a real robotic workcell.
Design of end effectors for a robotic cell
Hirsch, Radim ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the structural design of end effectors for the ABB IRB 4400/60 industrial robot within the robotic cell in the laboratory of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics. The first part of this thesis is focused on detailed research in the field of manipulation end effectors and systems for automatic exchange of end effectors. The next chapters offer a system breakdown and an analysis of the effectors currently used. The following two chapters discuss the design variants of the new solution, which are evaluated using multicriteria analysis. The design chapter describes the implementation of the new automatic end effector exchange system and offers a description of the newly designed effectors, based on verification calculations, as well as robot load analysis for each effector. At the end, an economic evaluation, discussion and evaluation of the proposed structure and conclusion are carried out. This work includes 3D models of the end effectors, their stand, as well as drawing documentation, including a pneumatic connection diagram.
Design of a robotic beech with a Siemens control system
Junek, Jaroslav ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with the design of optimization for the production process of fittings and palletizing. This process is controlled by a PLC and there are proposals for appropriate algorithms and visualizations. He also examines the issue of MXAtomation, as a means of controlling a robot through a programmable logic controller.
Design of the robotic work cell for the spot welding
Hrubeš, Kryštof ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with the design and creation of a virtual simulation of a robotic workplace for spot welding in the Tecnomatix Process Simulate. The aim of the work is to get acquainted with the issues of robotic workplaces, especially in the field of spot. Then, based on this knowledge, design a robotic work cell for welding two sheets. The whole process will then be simulated in the Tecnomatix Process Simulate and this simulation will serve as a demonstration in teaching.
Design of a Robotic Cell for Operating a Jet Machine for Cleaning Castings
Vrána, Vojtěch ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
The main goal of this master’s thesis is to create a design of robotic cell for operating of blasting machine. Operation of blasting machine consists of robotic manipulation of aluminium castings from input container to the blasting machine conveyor. After blasting operation aluminium castings are manipulated by robot from conveyor to output container. The part of the master's thesis is proposal of several variants of solution of design of robotic cell. Afterwards the best option is selected. The thesis also deals with design and selection of functional components in robotic cell. Functional verification of robotic cell is made in software Tecnomatix Process Simulate. Technical-economics evaluation is also part of this master’s thesis.

Design of a Robotic Cell for Flat Parts Production
Závodský, Martin ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of a robotic cell for the automation of woodworking machine tending. The task of the robot is to manipulate with the specified laminated chipboards of various sizes, before and after machining. The boards are brought to the cell on pallets in three possible placement variants. After a brief research part, conceptual designs of cell layout were created. The optimal and further elaborated design came as a result of selected evaluation criteria. The next part of the thesis consists of designs and selection processes of individual components. These were later used to create a simulation model in Tecnomatix Process Simulate software (Siemens), that helped to verify the functionality of the cell layout, design the control logic and acquire the time of the manipulation cycle used for informative calculation of annual production. In the end, the final design was evaluated from an economic point of view with an emphasis on the return of the initial investment.
