Evolutionary Optimization of Control Algorithms
Weisser, Roman ; Šeda, Miloš (referee) ; Zelinka,, Ivan (referee) ; Ošmera, Pavel (advisor)
The dissertation thesis deals with Evolution optimization of control algorithms. The first part of the thesis describes the principles and partial methods of evolution optimization methods especially those used in two-level transplant evolution method. Later the grammatical evolution method is described, which modified algorithm became impulse for creation of transplant evolution method. The transplant evolution method and its two-level modification are new evolutionary algorithms proposed in this work, which were used for optimization of structure and parameters of general controllers control algorithms. The transplant evolution algorithm and its extended two-level modification are described in detail in next chapters. The proper settings of evolutionary algorithms are important for minimization the time of optimization and for finds results approaching the global optimum. For proper setting the parameters of differential evolution was created meta-evolution algorithm that is described in chapter named meta-evolution. The basic concepts of control, chosen methods of system identification and controller parameters settings are described in next part. This part describes algorithms of digital controllers and some specific methods uses in digital control. The demonstrations of control algorithm optimizations of various types of controllers are showed in experimental part. The optimized algorithms of general controllers are compared with various types of PSD controllers which were set by various algebraic methods or differential evolution for various models of systems. In the conclusion of this work is stated a recommendation for further development of evolutionary optimization of controllers are focusing on parallel and distributed computing.
Adaptive controllers with principles of artificial intelligence
Pitra, Michal ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on an adaptive control, especially in a self-tuning controller area. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with identification methods of the adaptive control. The recursive least squares algorithm and the neural network method are the most popular identification methods. These methods are contrasted and the identification quality evaluation is done. The second part compares various types of the adaptive controllers with a non-adjustable PSD controller. The adaptive controllers are investigated from the various identification method point of view. The user graphic interface was realized for the identification and regulatory part. The time behavior of system responses after incoming disturbance and dynamic process changes during simulation systems control is compared with a physical model connected to B&R PLC. The comparison is done with the application of Matlab/Simulink program.
Control systems of Kaplan Turbine
Pavelka, František ; Kárník, Jan (referee) ; Fic, Miloslav (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor´s thesis is to list briefly the most common types of water turbines and explain the construction and especially regulation of Kaplan water turbine. Second task is to describe individually both regulatory mechanisms and movements in the machine during the regulation by distributor and by blades of runner wheel. The next intention is to describe the influence of regulation on the efficiency curve and further briefly explain and compare the modern control systems of turbine regulation with the old way using the centrifugal regulator.
Application Synco Living
Červinka, Michal ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
Following bachelor´s thesis is about a modern way of heating and ventilation of the intelligent buildings by the system” Synco living” from Siemens Ltd., discussed advantages and disad-vantages and describes specific components of the given system. Parts of this work are to de-signs houses / apartments showing the practical use of the system. In economic terms, the study points to the purchase price and return of investments over the years. It also discuss the options of further expansion of the system and mutual communication among the components. Conclusion includes directions the development of these systems would take.
Usage of plant growth regulators and stimulators in oilseed rape cultivation
KRÁL, Petr
This bachelors thesis is about the regulators and plant growth stimulators in winter rape. First, it describes basic characteristics of winter rape, its life cycle and basic agricultural engineering. Then summarizes information about individual application of regulators and stimulators of growth and their effects on the formation of yield elements, health condition, easy hibernation and quality of seed production. The essay also includes the main structure of plant hormones and explanation of the physiological effects of active substances regulators and stimulators on winter rape plants. It also gives an overview of available commercial products which may be used for different applications.
Postaudit of investment projects for biofuels implementation in Česká rafinérská Company, inc. (CeR)
Stříbrský, Vojtěch ; Kislingerová, Eva (advisor) ; Kotáb, Jiří (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with regulatory investment in the czech refining company (Česká rafinérská Company, inc.). The theoretical part deals with the specifics of regulatory investments, proposed methodology of assessment and is designed to analyze the problem in three scenarios. Practical part is application of the principles of evaluation of given scenarios of investment. It evaluates the overall impact of the investments in the czech refining company (Česká rafinérská company,Inc.).
