Managerial work and the application of equal opportunities in construction engineering

The thesis deals with work of manager and the application of equal opportunities in the construction company. The aim of the thesis is to explore the situation in construction companies and comparison of theory with practise. The theoretical part introduces the basic terms and theories related to the topic. Based on a questionnaire survey, the practical part assesses the current situation in construction companies. In the end of the thesis is an evaluation theoretical and practical part, in order recommend prospective changes and conclusion of the thesis.

Marketing strategy in ICT company

The thesis deals with the analysis of the company marketing strategy. In order to meet its objectives, it is necessary to evaluate all information on general conditions, the market and competition. Based on prerequisites of the further grow of professional environment, it proposes possible modes of use of different marketing strategies and their means of communication. The economic impact presumption of a proposal with respect to past experience is also calculated in this work.

Czech exporters opportunities in the Indian market

The aim of this thesis entitled Czech exporters opportunities in the Indian market is to provide these exporters enough information to evaluate the attractiveness of this market, an overview of the opportunities as well as how to penetrate this market. The first chapter focuses on general information about the Republic of India and demographic characteristics of the country. The next chapter deals with political and economic development of the country. The third chapter is concerned with foreign trade of the Republic of India. The fourth chapter continues with the mutual trade of the Czech Republic and India, and the last chapter is focused on opportunities for Czech exporters in the Indian market as well as the cultural differences of India in relation to successful business meetings with Indian business partners.

Analysis of business opportunities in the market for rail passenger transport

European Commission sees further development of rail passenger transport as one of the main pillars for maintaining and further strengthening of competitiveness of Europe. With rail passenger transport, as a growth industry that connects all the other sectors, we can count on further economic development in future while preserving diversity and beauty of European fauna and flora as well as growth in living standards. It was found that the trends in the use of railways in the Czech Republic and advanced European countries are different. The paper assumes that the role of rail passenger transport in the Czech Republic will strengthen in accordance with trends in western countries. The paper analyses the Czech rail passenger transport market. The Prague -- České Budějovice route has been identified as the most suitable for entry of a new private operator. There are strong streams of passengers. After completion of the railway corridor the route will offer extension of activities onto the Austrian market. The paper analyses the competitive environment. The main competitors are RegioJet and LEO Express. The operator can compete using low-cost concept, especially EMU trains. High quality of offered services will also play an important role. Leasing was identified as the most convenient financial instrument. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are summarized in the SWOT analysis.

Evaluation of Entrepreneurial Opportunities

The overall aim of this study is to provide insights into the process of entrepreneurial opportunity evaluation, as it is really exercised by successful entrepreneurs. First part addresses the theoretical background of the problem and provides a comprehensive overview of the existing literature. Six propositions for the construct of entrepreneurial opportunity evaluation theory are designed. Second part focuses on empirical testing and analysing of the six propositions. The research is based on personal interviews with 31 highly-experienced entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic. Practical suggestions are provided for academics, and 10 main recommendations are presented for the entrepreneurs.
