The Organizational Change of a Nonprofit Sports Organization (The Case Study of a Riding Club)

Sports organizations formed a significant part of the non-profit sector, not only in the Czech Republic. They are being overlooked of the academic world, however they offer interesting insights on organizational change. Overall, we can observe many forms of sports non-profit organizations in civil society, which differ in degree of proffesionalization, degree of formalization and the values they hold. This case study reveals the problems of local non-profit sports organization, which is undergoing a gradual change. This change is related to the development of the organization, after gradual change of values and objectives, the organization must now adapt corresponding structure. This study contains the recommendations specifically for this organization, however they can be used by other entities as well.
Proposal of change company organization structure

The aim of this diploma thesis is to suggest new organization structure in the industry company, the main is to focus on individual organization components and to specify goals, which would be achieved by this restructure. The proposal of new enterprise organization structure is made on basics of analysis of present situation in company, provided information and internal sources from employees and Management Company. In scope of this diploma thesis I suggested new organization structure, which faces to improve of its efficiency – decreasing of costs and increasing of productivity.
Business Process Management - Reengineering and its Implementation

This thesis deals with business process management phenomena and its concept of business process reengineering in particular. Furthemore, the principles, chosen methods and critical success factors of business process reengineering implementation are discussed. This thesis also concerns itself with holistic conception of business process management which incorporates both hard factors (e.g. process modeling) and soft factors dealing with rather social aspects of any organizational change. All theoretical findings are applied in specific organization where the business processes are rethought.
Evaluation of PRINCE2 methodology implementation in consulting company

This thesis describes project management methodology implementation in a consulting company and examines the impact of this methodology on key success factors of the company. The theoretical part deals with issues related to project management implementation in a company and describes well-known methods and standards in this area while focusing on PRINCE2 methodology, which has been chosen for the implementation. The theoretical part continues by describing the process of creating system dynamics models, which allowed the key success factor models to be created as tools for evaluation of the methodology implementation impacts. The practical part of this thesis describes the background for the methodology implementation project and then the implementation itself in detail. The practical part continues by showing and describing the created key success factor models. In the end, the methodology impacts evaluation is carried out, analyzing changes in separate elements of the model breakdown.
Optimalization of Information system after organizational change

The thesis deals with the analysis of the company after the recent major change and its need to optimize its information system. It designs alternative solutions and selecting the optimal variant. The aim of the work is creating recommendation of the optimal design solution to streamline business processes and increase support managerial decision making. The thesis focuses in the introductory part of the theoretical bases on grip of the problem: information theory, information system and change as the key aspect in the life of the organization, with emphasis on avoiding mistakes. It also assesses the benefits of information systems measurement as the input factor for the optimization evaluation. In the practical part, the situation and process analysis is used to describe a company in which optimization is being recommended. Subsequently, the variants of optimization are introduced and decision-making model for selecting the optimal selection is designed The conclusion summarizes aspects of the evaluation of optimization of information systems.
Staff foreknowledge analysis about actual organizational change in company

Graduation thesis deals with sense and importance of staff foreknowledge by board of management in time of actual organizational change. Theoretical knowledge and defined hypotheses are checked in practical part. There is questionnaire investigation in concrete Czech company.
