System for Interlinking Texts of State Exam Topics, Learning Support- and Other Supplementary Materials
Hradílek, Jakub ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to survey methods which are used for keyword extraction from articles and text documents. After that design and create system, which will be able to interlink texts of state exam topics, learning support and other supplementary materials. Finally step is evaluate the created system to materials from VUT FIT in Brno and appraise results in applicability for preparing students for final exams.
Slovak Lemmatization
Lipták, Šimon ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor thesis was to become familiar with the tools and methods for morphological analysis and lemmatization of words, to design and to implement a system for lemmatization of slovak words, which are not in dictionary and then to write their forms, to process slovak data for implementation of stemming. At the end to score prediction based on testing and to compare with available alternatives.
Morphological Analyser Implemented as FSAs
Bezák, Jakub ; Schwarz, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to introduce to its reader the field of morphemics and morphemic analysis of slovak language using morphemic analyser and to signify the difference from other world languages. In this text it is also explained the importance of finding base form of words while analysing slovak texts. Other part analyses the optimal storage of large dictionaries using finite state automata minimization. The end contains the comparison between various forms of implementation.
Variabilita druhu \kur{Calamagrostis varia}
NAKLÁDALOVÁ, Jana
Calamagrostis varia is a critically endangered species in Czechia. It has an interesting distribution range comprising the main area in calcareous parts of Alps and Carpathians and several isolated distribution areas on the northern edge of its range. The ecology of these sites is very heterogeneous. We therefore decided to explore this species' variability. In this study DNA ploidy level by FCM, morphometric characters and 2 genetic markers of 50 populations across the distribution range of C. varia were studied.
Segmentation and morphological analysis of mouse embryo choroid plexus
Cieľom tohto projektu bolo extrahovať ChP 4. komory implementáciou segmentačných metód a následnou morfologickou analýzou s cieľom odhaliť zákonitosti medzi tvarom a ochorením.
Linguistic characteristics of the present comics
Hradečný, Aleš ; Palkosková, Olga (advisor) ; Chejnová, Pavla (referee)
The thesis is focused on comics and mainly its lingustic aspect. The first part introduces comics as a cultural phenomenon and its various definitions from which the best possible is chosen. After that it deals with brief history of comics and its development from different geographic points of view. The attention is given to the language of comics and mainly to its specific, unique cooperation between words and images. In the second part analysis of two comic books, Anča a Pepík from 1990 and Na odstřel from 2014, from Lucie Lomová is realized. The results are compared with each other and conclusions are drawn. The common features of comics language are introduced on the bacground of the analyses.
Green Perspective. Variations of Green Political Thinking in the Czech Republic
Křížkovský, Matyáš ; Slačálek, Ondřej (advisor) ; Bíba, Jan (referee)
The presented work is devoted to the development of Czech environmental movement in 1990's which is accompanied by academic debate about de-radicalisation. The aim of the thesis is to explore what sort of particular changes in the field of political ideas could be identified behind notional de-radicalisation. For this purpose is first laid out the historical context within which the movements were created onto their political ideals. It is followed by an introduction of the theoretical approaches to analyse these ideologies, outlining the basic methodological assumptions for a morphological analysis of the journals of Hnuti Duha. This analysis shows that between the periods 1991-1994 and 1998-2000 can be seen significant ideological transformations that are linked both with the inclination to certain elements of conservative thought and partly an inclination to a non-political politics. Key words green political thinking, ideology, morphological analysis, environmental movement
Universal Morphological Analysis using ReinforcementLearning
Cardenas Acosta, Ronald Ahmed ; Zeman, Daniel (advisor) ; Mareček, David (referee)
The persistent efforts to make valuable annotated corpora in more diverse, morphologically rich languages has driven research in NLP into considering more explicit techniques to incorporate morphological information into the pipeline. Recent efforts have proposed combined strategies to bring together the transducer paradigm and neural architectures, although ingesting one character at a time in a context-agnostic setup. In this thesis, we introduce a technique inspired by the byte pair encoding (BPE) compression algorithm in order to obtain transducing actions that resemble word formations more faithfully. Then, we propose a neural transducer architecture that operates over these transducing actions, ingesting one word token at a time and effectively incorporating sentential context by encoding per- token action representations in a hierarchical fashion. We investigate the benefit of this word formation representations for the tasks of lemmatization and context-aware morphological tagging for a typologically diverse set of languages, including a low- resourced native language from Peru, Shipibo-Konibo. For lemmatization, we use exploration-based optimization under a reinforcement learning framework, and find that our approach benefits greatly languages that use less commonly studied morphological processes...
Slovak Pattern-based Morphology
Klocok, Andrej ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Theaimofthisthesisistogetacquaintedwithmethodsofmorphologicalanalysis, representation of data of morphological dictionaries, creation of system based on technical patterns for flective morphology of Slovak language. From this system is derived a morphological analyzer, which lemmatizes input words, determines their pattern and a morphological tag, a tool for comparison and evaluation of stemmers, which evaluates stemmers based on a derivative dictionary, a tool for reconstruction of diacritics, which was created as an auxiliary tool. In the last chapters of thesis, individual tools are assessed, morphological analyzer is compared with available alternative, two implementations of Slovak stemmers are evaluated by the tool for stemmer evaluation and the further development of tools is indicated.
