The goal of this bachelor thesis is design of kitchen scale. Design is based on a close analysis of historic and contemporary weighing equipment with regard to aesthetic, ergonomic and technical requirements. Designed kitchen scale should facilitate work in the kitchen and also should act as a product of modern interior.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make work in kitchen simplier and easier. I wanted to create a kitchen scale, which would be precise, quality and which would be based on modern technologies. The main advantage of this designer concept is wide range of different functions of the kitchen scale. Modern design sould catch the eye of every cook and help them with preparation of any food.
Characteristics of Contemporary Architecture in Sociological View

The thesis is about relation of society and its material environment - architecture. It focuses on current architecture and its characteristics with relation to society. The emphasis is placed on influence of constructions, interaction with users and transmission of meanings. The thesis is characterizing contemporary architecture using theories of Marshall McLuhan. Today's architecture is distinguished by projective character which enables higher participation of users than former architectural traditions. New interconnection of society and architecture appears. It is characterized by higher degree of interaction. At the same time, higher relativization, individualization and virtualization of meanings emerge. Currently, architecture is cool medium through the lens of Marshall McLuhan theories. Reflexive style of volunteering at organization focused on integration of foreigners

This diploma thesis deals with the study of the world of reflexive volunteers and their retention in a selected non-profit organization. The theoretical part provides an overview of the motivations for volunteering and the current functioning of volunteering in the Czech Republic and the European Union; it also focuses on transforming the way volunteers are involved from the perspective of modernization and describes in detail the process of volunteer management. The empirical part consists of interviews with ten volunteers in a selected organization in order to understand its motivations, length and intensity of work, relationships with other volunteers and employees. Finally, practical recommendations for the volunteer coordinator are presented regarding selected aspects of volunteer management, with special emphasis on the retention of volunteers. Gallery of modern art

The conceptual design of the Gallery of Modern Art is created with the aim to build the timeless social and cultural center, situated in urban conservation zone, which is in the connection with the cultural axis of the existing round avenue of Brno. The proposed building is located in the Moravian Square, in the place of the existing park. It is a neoplasm in the historic space, which is adding the uniqueness of surrounding by its concept. This proposed building will reflect the most modern architectural, building and construction elements.
Kočičí odpočívadlo jako designový prvek interiéru

The bachelor work with its development is aimed at creating a unique collection of cat resting place as a structural element of the interior with a new view of the given issue with the possibility of its use for the owner himself. Subsequent production of the proto-type of one of the proposed models will bring the product market out of the current range of manufactured products. The theoretical part of the introduction explains the human need of cat breeding and the historical development that preceded it. Using search surveys of both the foreign and the Czech market, the type of trends and materi-als currently used in production. The practical part is an inspiration leading to the final form of the collection and the competition survey. The work culminates with a 1:1 scale prototype production and a built-in marketing plan to facilitate the products distribution.

The subject of this diploma is the design of a versatile light agricultural tractor. The design of the tractor will focus on timeless design. The proposed tractor will also differ from the current competition in the field of light agricultural tractors. The resulting tractor will also be usable outside agriculture, in horticulture or communal services.

The project documentation, processed in the framework of the diploma thesis, solves the new building of the administrative building of the building company in the village Lukov u Moravských Budějovic. The building is made of traditional brick technology therm tl. 50 cm, without insulation, ceilings are reinforced concrete, flat roof, vegetation. Vegetation is also part of the facade of the building, which at the same time serves as a root cleaner. The philosophy of the whole design is to create a high-quality working environment for building company employees, a pleasant environment for customers and to best solve the environmental footprint of the building. The building is designed as a modern office building, with space for leisure activities of staff and their visits, taking into account the responsible approach to the development industrial site and the surrounding nature. The building efficiently manages potable, rain and wastewater, the envelope of the building, and the individual structures are designed to make the entire building as energy-consuming as possible, and do not pump irreparably by nature its natural resources in a larger quantity than necessary.
