Modal analysis of vocal folds models with descrete parameters
Lekeš, Filip ; Švancara, Pavel (referee) ; Hájek, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with modal analysis of computed models of human vocal folds. It’s about finite element and analytical model where values first eigenfrequencies come under male vocal folds. Research part applies to biomechanics of vocal the human voice, which is followed by an overview of computational models. Finite element model is completely created and solved by ANSYS Workbench commercial program, which uses the finite element method to simulate a problem. Solution of analytical model uses freely available Python programming language. Analysis of the results and comparison of approaches belong to main objectives of the presented work. The proposed analytical model can serve future students for detailed understanding of human vocal oscillations.
The influence of the transverse stiffening of the arches of a double-track railway bridge in the dynamic response
Bureš, Vojtěch ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is static and dynamic analysis of arches of a steel railway bridge and investigation of the influence of their stiffening. A shell model was created in Ansys, which was then loaded and statically checked according to the second-order analysis with inserted imperfections. The dynamic analysis focused on the influence of stiffening on the long-term service life of the structure. The results on models with and without arched stiffener were compared.
Analysis of dynamic properties of pneumatic actuator
Hrivňák, Ján ; Žatko, Miroslav (referee) ; Malenovský, Eduard (advisor)
This thesis deas with dynamic analysis of pneumatic actuator which is used as regulation mechanis of turbochargers with Variable Nozzle Turbine (VNT) technology. The first part of work is focused on experimental modeling which goal is obtaining Frequency Response Function on specify frequency range by Frequency Response Function Analysis – FRFA. Dominant vibrations of pneumatic actuator active parts is expected on this specify frequency range. Results of experimental modeling will be used for gaining input parameters for numerical computation as well. The second part deal with Pre-Stressed Modal Analysis and subsequently Harmonic analysis. Obtained results with numerical and experimental analysis will be compared. This part of diploma thesis is solved in programmatic environment ANSYS Workbench.
Design of cable-stayed pedestrian bridge
Uher, Lukáš ; Kulhavý,, Tomáš (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to design a structure of pedestrian bridge over the Svratka river. To make a preliminary study of possible bridging, three different outlines were drafted. The cable-stayed variant was selected for further analysis. Two towers, inclined in both their longitudinal and transverse direction, support a cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete deck through stay cables anchored in the tower and the deck. After determining the desired initial state, a finite element analysis was carried out using the Ansys software. The capacity of all main load-bearing elements was checked so it meets the ULS and SLS design criteria in accordance with EN 1992 codes.
Design of the ROPS protective frame
Zimek, Rostislav ; Machálek, Jakub (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the protective frame protecting occupants in rollover (ROPS). The creation of the calculation model, in order to perform a stress-strain analysis of the frame under the conditions of the homologation test. Execution modal analysis with the inclusion of the mass of the auxiliary device. A motion for a protective frame is designed so that it can be subjected to destructive test according to standards ČSN EN ISO 3471. The strength and modal analysis was carried out using the finite element method (FEM). The diploma thesis was conducted in cooperation with the company, the Tatra Truck a.s.
Suspension bridge across expressway R52
Glovina, Filip ; Štefan, Petr (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
This work deals with statics and dynamics analysis of stayed cable bridge and design of supporting structure according to limit states. The work contains of static calculation, drawing documentation and visualization.
Design of Data Acquisition Equipment IMC Fastening System in the Car
Černý, Martin ; Jeník, Radomír (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
Devices for measuring the dynamic load and vibration of certain parts of the bodywork or parts of other parts of the vehicle are made using accelerometers and measuring instruments IMC. It must be simply installed into the interior of the vehicle so that it is not necessary to remove any parts of the interior and to avoid damage to all parts of the interior. The preparation must also withstand the considerable dynamic load generated by the harder operation tests.
Contactless measurement of operational deflection shape
Tomek, Tomáš ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis provides an overview of 2D/3D laser scanners used in measuring operating deflection shapes. Describes the issue of measuring the operating deflection shapes and modal analysis. My work also contains a description of the measurement chain. From the contactless measurement of a vibrating surface using the application created in LabVIEW to its visualization in Pulse Reflex.
Valves timing of compressor for CO2 refrigerant
