The aim of this Bachelor thesis is a reflection of changes in the main reporting session TV Prima family. Since August 2009, when Jitka Obzinová was appointed by chief editor and publicity chief. After her arrival the changes began to implement and these were unique for the Czech media market. The changes led to the creation of the hourly information block, which allowed in messages to process of new topics which until then, was not in the news area. Development of the new information blocks which led to the cancellation of the news of sport as well as the abolition of the moderated by the weather. However the changes that have been made in the course of two years, have led to an increase in viewing current news FTV Prima. It did not transform only the content and structure of the main intelligence relationship but also a visual concept. Detailed chronological overview of the ganges arised after the analysis of print and online media for the reference period. Bachelor's thesis does not consist of a theoretical part but it has a practical part. The Crisis Of the Sales Of Printed Media In the Czech Republic From 2006 To 2016 and How to Face It

The bachelor thesis deals with the decrease in total sales of printed newspapers in the Czech Republic in the period from 2006 to 2016 and seeking recommendations for media houses to counter this trend. The thesis also looks for the reason of the increasing total sales of Forbes magazine in the Czech Republic, that is considered as an exception. The theoretical part is about printed media: about its history, economics, quantity demanded and supplied after the newspapers, and finally this part includes the section about history and expansion of Forbes. In the empirical part, there is an analysis of the market and an econometric model that confirms the hypothesis of a decline in the sales of newspapers at the expense of the increase of the internet availability. There is also an analysis of the questionnaire "Profile of the readers of the Czech Forbes magazine," and the empirical part also consists of comparison of the Czech Forbes with the American version, respectively with competing titles on the Czech market.

This graduation thesis is aimed to identify the current situation of the newspapers Mladá fronta DNES and the internet portal iDNES.cz in the Czech media market. The print market, as well as the Internet market is undergoing some changes mainly caused by technological progress and society development. Both products are under control from the Mafra Media Group, which has to respond to the ongoing development of the Internet, as a dynamically growing media type at the expense of newspapers. The success is the close cooperation between both journal channels and frequent use of the possibilities of promotion in other media under the Mafra Media Group.
