Study of the influence of process parameters on welding properties of ferritic stainless steel in laser oscillation welding
Křepela, Petr ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The aim of this work was to carry out an experiment to assess the influence of the individual welding parameters in the laser welding method with the beam wobbling on the made weld, respectively. welds. The material which was welded was ferritic stainless steel with the designation 1.4016, which, like all ferritic steels, is susceptible to coarse grains and the resulting brittleness which leads to degradation of the mechanical properties of the weld. The welds were compared to a sample welded without wobbling an between themselves. Unfortunately, however, the evaluation of the test samples did not bring significant differences from laser welding without wobbling, however some changes are evident, such as grain orientation, weld defects, or uniformity of mechanical properties over the weld length, where wobbling frequency is most important. Further research should focus on limiting the porosity at higher wobbling frequencies in the shape of a circle or ellipse.
The Motivation and Stimulation of Employees
Pražák, Petr ; Čeněk, Jiří (referee) ; Černohorská, Lenka (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the motivation and stimulation of workers in the specific transport company. It states who is responsible for the proper motivation of employees and simultaneously compares the theoretical knowledge of the facts. Further work includes design of an incentive system, tailor the company. Information for this system I get from a questionnaire survey.

The impact of mobile phone technology on Africa
The impact of territorial infrastructure development on the real estate market
Žižková, Kateřina ; Kocourková, Gabriela (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with how the influence of territorial infrastructure affects the real estate market in the border regions of the Czech republic, Poland and Germany. In the thesis are created databases about localities and realities, that are the outcomes of the data collection. Data collections mainly concerns the type of property, layout and the location of the property. From the data analysis is possible to evaluate the influence of territorial infrastructure in the context of average market values of real estates in the border region Czech Republic-Germany-Poland.
Evaluation of optical components for LED
Dobiáš, Jiří ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with an evaluation of optical components for LED, which is based on laboratory measurements of available LED samples and optical elements. The evaluation is done according to established standards and is focused on efficiency and adjustment of luminous flux (beam angle, luminous curve). Furthermore was made a study engaged in an optical element influence on LED color properties (color temperature, spectral characteristics). In conclusion there is an optical elements usage overview and recommended procedure for selecting appropriate combination of LED and optical element.
Development of housing construction in the border region
Pazour, Tomáš ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of a selected segment of the real estate market in a specific border locality (CZ-DE-PL). Furthermore, the influences and development that affects the real estate market with a focus on housing construction in the context of regional development. Based on the collected data about available properties and locations, databases are created where properties are divided by type, layout and size. From these databases, the average market prices of real estate are then calculated, that are then compared within the border regions. The prices reflect all the positive and negative properties of buildings and localities that may have an impact on the price of real estates in the surveyed localities. The last part compares the regional development of housing units in border regions.
Influecne of Ecological Factors on Construction
Król, Kamil ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to accomplish a research in the field of ecological construction and analyze the effects of environmental factors. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of ecology in construction, fundamentals of valuation, valuation of work and supplies. The case study is described by the effects of environmental factors, which influence the price of the building in the practical part of the thesis.
The impact of tire inflation on driving performance of a passenger vehicle
Pelán, Radim ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
The key goal of the following diploma thesis is to evaluate influence of the air pressure in the car tires on the driving dynamic, stability and comfort. The first part is dedicated to the theory of the driving dynamic, stability, tire parameters and tire inflation. Next practical part is focused on the drivers’ knowledge about the correct tire inflation and follows with the measurements and evaluation of the influence of the tire inflation on the driving characteristics, riding comfort and its comparison. These influences are summarized and followed up by the recommendations for the drivers and also the expert activities.
The Success Rate of Think-tanks as an Actors of the Public Policy
Majerčíková, Kristína ; Frič, Pavol (advisor) ; Jelínková, Marie (referee)
Think tanks are active actors in the political process and form an integral part of political culture. In the socio-political context, they fulfill the role of data and knowledge providers, assisting with information for political actors, while also operating in the private and public sectors. They supplycredible informationand offer important insights.Their form varies based on the environment they operate in. This work examines four selected Czech think tanks: the Institute for European Policy Europeum, the Institute for Politics and Society, the Center for Security PolicyEuropean Values, and the Masaryk Democratic Academy. Through set objectives, the work explores the effectiveness of thinktanks and their connectionwith experts, and through personal interaction, examines the most successful areas, supplementingthis with the level of experts using the concept of theories of change and selected impact indicators. I confirm that the success of the selectedthink tanks is in fulfillingtheir missions' objectives and is associated with highly qualified experts. However, the work does not shy away from challenges in a range of issues.
