Mapping of prosocial behavior in pre-school children with hearing disabilities

The bachelor thesis deals with prosocial behavior in pre-school children with hearing disabilities. The aim of the thesis is to map the elements (selected in advance) of prosocial behavior during free play in pre-school children with hearing disabilities. The theoretical part of the thesis describes development period of the pre-school age, defines the term of prosocial behavior and deals with hearing disability issue. The practical part of the thesis contains the introduction to the methodology of its research, description of the research group and research environment. The results of the study are presented in three case studies. that are based on analysis of documents and sctructured observation of the particular selected elements of the prosocial behavior in the research group of children. There were also added the elements of behavior that are basically considered as inappropriate, in order to describe prosocial behavior of the children in the most comprehensive way.
Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Strakonice

The goal of this thesis is to analyze the possibility of integration for children with visual-, mental-, and hearing- disabilities between the ages of 8 to 15 years into the offer of physical leisure time activities in the Jindřichův Hradec area. The theoretical part deals with the concept of disability, its characteristics and classification and the classification and characteristics of visual-, mental-, and hearing disability. Another component of the theoretical part is the characteristics of the Jindřichův Hradec area and the definition of the concept of a physical leisure time activity. The practical part of this thesis focuses on the very research done in the Jindřichův Hradec area. The research survey was done in a form of a questionnaire survey. 22 Trainers, 15 children with disabilities, 30 intact children, 15 parents of disabled children and 5 Directors took part on the research survey. Research assumptions "that the offer of leisure time physical activities for children with different types of disability is sufficient" were not confirmed. Although 100 % of trainers of leisure-time physical activities hold opinion that children with disabilities should definitely have an opportunity to integrate into leisure-time physical activities, but 55 % of them cannot offer to children with disabilities the option of integration. It is also due the fact that 40 % of trainers have no sports qualification. Intact children as well as children with disabilities are for integration of children with disabilities into leisure time physical activities. The same is true also for parents of children with disabilities who even do not insist on special sports qualification of trainers.
Prevention of addictions among pupils with hearing disability

The thesis deals with the prevention of dependencies for pupils with hearing disabilities. The work describes the specifics of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention and focuses on the State of awareness and of preventive measures on the individual schools for the hearing impaired in Prague. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part, which is processed primarily on the basis of the study of literature, contains a general treatise on the auditory disability, a description of the different kinds of dependencies with their consequences and an overview of the possible types of prevention. The practical part is devoted to research through interviews and a questionnaire, which is focused on finding, comparing and quantitative evaluation of the awareness of pupils of various dependencies and their prevention in schools for the hearing impaired in Prague. Specific Needs of Deaf People Studying at Universities in Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on the issue of education of people with hearing disabilities at universities in the Czech Republic. It emphasizes the specific educational needs of people with hearing disabilities who study at the university, and which meet the needs by support services. Work specifically address to the different types of support services and centres to support students with special educational needs at universities that offer these services. The survey, conducted in the form of online questionnaire, found that the use of support services is frequented and at the same time, the quality of these services is rated as very high. The survey also followed the use of modifications graduation exam correlated using a modification of entrance exams for universities. Created an online questionnaire in the Czech sign language provides effective feedback deaf students to the centres to support students with special educational needs. Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Písek.

Intention of this bachelor thesis is to examine and to analyze possibilities of integration children aged 8 - 15 years with mental, visual and hearing impairment disabilities in district Písek. This work is divided in theoretical part that explains general view of the term disabilities of children, outlines the importance of integrating children with disabilities to the society with intact children. The characteristic and classification of mental, visual and auditory disabilities are explained and at the same time the possibilities of using suitable sports for individual levels of handicap are described. Theoretical part also describes the district Písek and its offer of free time motion activities. At the same time the meaning and importance of free time activities with reference to healthy style of life is emphasized. In practical part a survey is performed. 18 coaches, 25 children with disabilities, 28 intact children and 7 directors from schools and sports facility participated in the survey. Based on the opinions of coaches and specialized workers, most of them agrees with integration of children with disabilities to the motion activities with intact children. However they aren't able to provide special lead of these activities, because 44 % of them does not have sports education. The excellent report was a clear 100 % agreement on the integration of disabled children by all school heads and sports schools. And they confirmed the answers from children with disabilities, and 52 % of children would like to engage in physical activity with intact children.
Substance use among people with hearing disability: exploration and cerrelation probe

Although there are about 500 000 of people with hearing impairment in Czech republic, a risk group of substance abuse due to determinants of this impairment, there are distinctive lack of studies focused on this theme in our state. There are few foreign studies offering some results, overall interest is still slender in this issue. This work was aimed to define the basic terms and briefly describe difficulties of hearing impairment, psychological aspects and patterns of drug use in hearing impaired population due to available resources and exploration and correlation questionnaire study. The study had a questionnaire form and was spread by snow ball method in first stage, through 8 basic subjects on social network called facebook.com and other forms of mass communication. In the second stage we used a purposeful selection at two schools for the hearing impaired in Prague. Participants were indviduals with more than 20 dB hearing loss (includes) in both cases. The participation was no age or locally restricted. The result of theoretical and practical part is a fact, that drug using in hearing impaired population is on the same or maybe even higher level like in intact population. Integrated Education of a Pupil with Special educational needs - Case Study

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current situation in integrated educating of a pupil with special educational needs, or more specifically, of a child with high functioning autism combined with practical deafness. Through analysis of specialised literature, the theoretical part defines the expression integration; other definitions include hearing disability and autism as the causes limiting the pupil's inclusion in educating in a mainstream elementary school. The practical part of the thesis includes a case study - description of the pupil's case. Experience is described from the current integrated education in a special elementary school where the pupil is educated according to the Framework Educational Program for Elementary Schools, with the prospective of upcoming re-integration into the mainstream elementary school, or, as the case may be, depending on the parents' decision, his integration in an elementary school for hearing impaired children. In drawing up the case study, the following methods were applied: observation and analysis of the pupil's educational products.
Golf training program focused on children and youth with hearing disability in the context of leisure activities

Thesis "Golf training program focused on children and youth with hearing disability in the context of leisure activities " in its theoretical part deals with the theme of hearing disability in terms of etiology, diagnosis and classification, focuses also on communication systems. More attention is devoted to the development, education and specifics of physical activities in children with hearing disability. Finally introduces golf training program called SNAG which is still new in the world and its versatility is ideal for teaching in schools. The research deals with the influence of the interventional motion program focused on golf lessons for children and youth with hearing disability aged 7 to 18 years. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate positive impact of golf training program on physical and psychosocial health within a standardized questionnaire PedsQLTM 4.0. Based on the results which are presented in graphs and tables each with a brief commentary confirms the positive impact of golf training program on physical and psychosocial health of all individuals in the experimental group. After completion of the three-month intervention program there was an overall average improvement of 6 % on physical health and 5.1 % on psychosocial health. The results of the control group were with no significant differences. The main contribution of this thesis is to verificate the positive impact of golf training program on physical and psychosocial health in children and youth with hearing disability in age from 7 to 18 years.
