Iinfrared thermography and handheld ultrasound doppler during exercise test
Urbanová, Lucia ; Vlk, Daniel (referee) ; Staffa,, Erik (advisor)
Semester project elaborates theoretical part of bachelor thesis, which is going to process results of measurements performed by infrared thermography and Doppler ultrasonography during physical tests on volunteers. The theoretical part contains basics of infrared thermography, where physical quantities, laws and principles are explained. The basic of Doppler ultrasonography are explained as well. In practical part will be statistically analyzed data measured by a thermal imager and Doppler ultrasonography. Study group of people will form students aged from 18 to 25 years. Thermographic and Doppler measurements will be performed before exercise and after exercise. The aim is to find a correlation between processed data.
The utilization of infrared camera for measurement of electrical machines temperature
Halfar, Tomáš ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Kuchyňková, Hana (advisor)
Bachelor‘s thesis The Application of Infrared Camera for measuring the temperature of Electrical Machines acquaints with issues of heat, its creation and transmission. This work includes options of measuring of the temperature. There are given methods of contactless measuring of the temperature especially in this work. Main accent is given to problematic of measuring of the temperature with infrared camera SAT HY6800. The work includes introduction with basic functions of infrared camera and operation manual of the camera. It was created manual for utilization of program SAT report in relation to infrared cameras. In the practical part of bachelor’s thesis is measuring the temperature of three DC motors from company ATAS Elektromotory Náchod with different covers and comparing of their warming.
Thermal measurement
Zachar, Martin ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with theory of thermal measurement with both physical as well as technical side. Thesis describes basic methodics of thermal measurment and further compares few different thermographic cameras at the current market. Main part of the thesis is focusing on a script, that has been created in program Matlab, serving for analysis of a series of thermographic pictures capturing verticaly placed pipes, following by registration of founded temperatures to Excel and drawing of diagrams of the change of average temperature along pipe and histograms of temperatures of given pictures.
Diagnostics of current path of high-current apparatuses
Váša, Lukáš ; Bušov, Bohuslav (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the theoretical analysis of methods of technical diagnostics with focus on high-current devices. An overview of the methods used in technical practice is elaborated. In addition, the thesis deals with the strain of current carrying path, subsequently the work focuses on the thermal stress of parts of the current carrying path and its temperature rise. Methods of diagnostics by measuring transient resistance and methods of measurement of temperatures are described and each of the methods’ advantages and disadvantages are stated. The practical part is focused on the diagnotics of the switch disconnector and the disconnector by measurement of the transient resistances of all contacts of the current carrying paths and the following measurement and evaluation of temperature rise of the components by thermal imaging camera. Adjustments to the disconnector leading to financial savings are suggested on basis of these measurements.
Emissivity and Result of Non-Contacting Temperature Measurement
Kotrba, Martin ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
Detailed introducition of non-contact temperature measurement and correct settings of the measurement device, which has great influence on correct temperature determination, is the aim of this diploma thesis. The experimental laboratory was established to verify dependencies by Compaq CM non-contact thermometer. Conclusions and recomendations are deduced from the measurement results and their analysis.
Non-contact measurement of surface temperatures during machining of metal materials
Trojan, Jiří ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with non-contact methods of surface temperature with machining metal materials. This work contains summary of basic terms and description of thermodynamics laws. Furthermore, the work present criteria for selection suitable measuring equipment. In the second part of this work is described experiment focused on drilling technology and measurement dependence of temperature on different cutting speed for different drilling approaches. At the end are presented the results.
Temperature Measurement in Technical Diagnostics
Szmek, Tomáš ; Janečka, Jan (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to familiarize a reader with possibilities of temperature measurement along with constructions and functions of particular measuring instruments and to present their positive and negative aspects. Both basic contact thermometers used in common life and complex systems (thermovision) employed in the most demanding industrial application are described here. The thesis depicts temperature as a diagnostic value according to which the causes of machinery failures are easily detected and subsequent accidents prevented.
Non-contact temperature measurement
Sládek, Vojtěch ; Minář, Petr (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was the study of non-contact temperature measurement and the use of this measurement in the field of production machines. The first part of thesis includes concepts and definitions that are necessary for familiarization with the issue. In the second, practical part, contact and non-contact measurements were compared in two experiments. In the first one the machine frame was measured, on which the thermal load was simulated, the emission was determined, which was compared with emissivity from the tables. In the second experiment, the temperature gradient of the ball screw was measured during the ball screw operation and was determined emissivity, which was again compared with the table values. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes advantages and disadvantages of non-contact measurements that have been verified in practice.
Verification of the model for predicting the properties of the combustion process
Horsák, Jan ; Kilkovský, Bohuslav (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work thoroughly analyzes a previously created computational model for predicting characteristic properties of the combustion process in an experimental combustion chamber. Any found shortcomings of the original model are removed and the model is further improved prior to its application on 11 real cases of combustion tests performed at various conditions and with various fuels. Data provided by the model are confronted with the data obtained during the combustion tests and the model accuracy is evaluated, based on local heat flux along the length of the combustion chamber. Finally, the overall usefulness of the model is determined by the means of evaluating the acquired accuracy values, and further possibilities of model improvement and use are presented.
Application of thermal camera for analysis of heat
Palička, David ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Lízal, František (advisor)
Within this bachelor degree thesis I have focused on the thermal losses from storage tanks serving as asphalt binders. I have used the theory of non-contact temperature measurements using a thermovision camera. In the first part of this document I deal with the history, theory and some basic principles of non-contact temperature measurements. In the second part I am examining the thermovision camera settings. The third part considers the function of the asphalt mixture production plant itself, as well as the function of storage tanks. In the last part of this thesis I analyze the results of the measurements. The goal of this analysis is to compare results of thermal losses from storage tanks heated with thermal oil, and storage tanks heated with an electrical thermocouple.
