Differences in the Driver's Behavior when Driving through a Pedestrian Crossing at Night and in the Daytime
Vlasák, Jaroslav ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Maxera, Pavel (advisor)
The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses on the drivers reacting on a pedestrian crossing during the day and the night. A particular attention is paid to all the factors that can influence drivers' behaviour while driving through a pedestrian crossing. The influence of the behaviour by these factors often causes car accidents with pedestrians. One of the basic techniques is to analyze the behavior of the driver in the optical perception of stimuli that affect the optical response. Eyetracker is used to measure the optical responses. This device monitors changes of the angle of a driver's view, navigation of a driver and the driver's reaction on different stimuli while driving. The practical part of the thesis deals with an analysis of the drivers' behaviour while driving through a pedestrian crossing during the day and during the night. Twelve drivers took part in the day measurement of driving through the pedestrian crossing in Brno. Night measurement was taken place in Břeclav and Lednice with the attendance of seven drivers. During the ride are monitored the optical reactions of drivers on various impulses with the use of a special device Eyetracker.

The work concludes with measurement and analysis of the implemented technology performance in virtual machines. The result of this work is the COMBO cards' support for the SR-IOV technology, which makes it possible to use them in virtual machines with wire-speed performance preserved. This allows future COMBO cards to be used as accelerators in the networks utilizing the Network Function Virtualization.
Level of Drivers Knowledges ofFirst Aid
Cukrová, Šárka ; Hošťálková, Monika (advisor) ; Eislerová, Iva (referee)
Abstracts This bachelor work deals with the level of knowledge in rendering first aid by drivers. The theoretical part focuses on general principles in providing first aid and guidelines in selected situations ( unconsciousness, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, shock, hemorrhage, accidents). Also given are legal provisions concerning first aid, the procedure after a traffic accident and statistics of traffic accidents. In the empirical part a quantitative approach was used and data was collected by a questionaire. Respondents were the drivers from the Kladno region, chosen at random. The survey concentrated not only on theoretical knowledge of the drivers in providing first aid, but also on finding out obstacles that prevent them from doing so. The results show the ignorance of guidelines in situations, where we are not sure, if an unconsious wounded persone is breathing or not. On the contrary, very good knowledge was shown in the area of hemorrhage. The absolute success rate was in the response to the question: " What do we administer to wounded persone with an abdominal trauma ?". The most frequent given obstacles to rendering first aid was the fear of harm and the fear of lack of knowledge. Key words First aid, Drivers, Road traffic akcident, Injury accidents, Life threatening situacion, Cardiopulmonary...
The issue of drugs in traffic.
MELOUN, Jan
My final research deals with drug problem in drivers under the influence of drugs or psychotropic substances. This problematics I summary to the thesis called "The issue of drugs in traffic". The topics of drug or narcotic psychotropic substances (further OPL) in the body of drivers is up to date. The proportion of these drivers in constantly increasing in road traffic. This also increases the risk that this driver poses. The tesis is devided in two basic parts. Theoretical part contains an introduction to the issue from basic concept to the investigation methods. In practical part I present clinical and forensis toxicology laboratory tests from the hospital in České Budějovice, a.s., specifically I am interested in examinations by drivers requested by the Police of the Czech republic. Main topics of the research are drivers captured by the police on the basis of positive screening test (on - road) and by individuals OPL groups in the period 2014 - 2016. 1630 people were required to have an examination for 2197 OPL groups in this time period in laboratory of clinical and forensic toxicology in the hospital in České Budějovice. Positive result for OPL was found in 1450 people. By the way this research founded that in this time period numbers of required examinations by Police ČR rised. Mostly the drives had positive tests for cannabinoids, the share of positive metamfetamine (pervitin) drivers increased. This research can be use for a police training of procedures, implementation, negotiation and planning of roadside checks on drivers under influence of OPL.
Drivers of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Family Businesses
Mengel, Niklas ; Tyll, Ladislav (advisor) ; Hnilica, Jiří (referee)
This thesis analyzed the Drivers and Implementation Approaches of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Family Businesses. Qualitative Analysis based on Semi-Structured Interviews was conducted in the region of Southern Lower Saxony and later on quantified through category-based Content Analysis. The results suggest that Drivers of CSR can be divided into value-based and strategic, and Implementation Approaches into informal and formal. Family Businesses are more likely to be driven by values and implement an informal approach. Further, a model to define CSR, called Four-Peak Pyramid of Corporate Social Responsibility, was developed. It consists of two fundamental stones of CSR, Compliance and Profitability, and four peaks called Marketplace, Workplace, Community and Environment.

Design of Network Applications for a NetCOPE Platform
Hank, Andrej ; Kořenek, Jan (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
Monitoring and security in multigigabit networks with speeds 1 - 100 Gb/s needs hardware acceleration. NetCOPE platform for rapid development of network applications uses hardware acceleration card with FPGA technology by means of hardware/software codesign. Increas in performance of platform's software part is dependent of parallel processing in applications to take advantage of utilising more processor cores. This thesis analyses NetCOPE platform architecture and possibilities of parallelising classic network applications and creates models of concurrent access to data in NetCOPE platform to utilize more processor cores. These models are subsequently implemented as extensions to platform's Linux system drivers. Userspace libraries are created to provide simple interface for applications to use these new features. To achieve high throughput of this solution several optimizations are performed. Results are measured by created testing tools.
