Identification of critical points and the evaluation of their contributing areas in the Čižina watershed.
Hanuliak, Radek ; Pavlík, František (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate the critical profiles in the village of Lichnov near Bruntál. There was perfomed an identification of critical profiles, which are decisive for the flood threats of the built-up area. An analysis of the complex of physical-geographic factors influencing direct drain, soil loss and sediment transport was realised in collection areas. Evaluation was carried out using DMT, with the use of tools of ArcMap and DesQ.
Data for the Creation Orienteering Maps
Panchártek, Jan ; Plánka, Ladislav (referee) ; Hanzl, Vlastimil (advisor)
This thesis is about using airborne laser scanning data for making maps for Orienteering. In this thesis were used altimetry data DMR 4G and DMR 5G. These data are provided by ČUZK. The control measuring was made in choosen area to verify the accuracy. In this thesis is described procedure of data collection and their treatment. The results of this thesis are two illustrations of the orienteering maps.
Evaluation of a Water Reservoir Bed Morphology Using Bathymetric Data
Jílek, David ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Sedimentation of reservoirs is one of the current problems in the field of water resource management. The actual conditions of the bed morphology can be scan by modern bathymetric sensors or measuring and then transferred to digital terrain models. This bachelor thesis evaluates the process of the sedimentation of the upper reservoir of Nové Mlýny reservoir since its first filling in 1978 to the newest measuring in 2018 using an assessment of a water volume changes in the reservoir. The thesis also describes a detailed manual of reservoir volumes evaluation in the programs ArcGIS and Atlas DMT, and verification of the method accuracy. These programs were used for creating the digital terrain models and calculating area-volume curves that were utilized for evaluation of a volume change and then for the amount of the reservoir sedimentation. The total volume of the reservoir loss during the forty years is estimated as 500 thousand m3 which equals 28 % of the total reservoir volume, at least the 300 thousand m3 of sedimentation was realised in the last ten years. The outcomes are part results of the project ATCZ28 SEDECO – Sediments, ecosystem services and interrelation with the floods and droughts in the AT-CZ border region.
Documentation of the fortification of Kepkov
Březinová, Pavlína ; Mgr.Ing Monika Koroniová (referee) ; Hanzl, Vlastimil (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with geodesic documentation of the defunct, medieval fortification of Kepkov. Thesis describes the history of location, the importance of surveying, measuring, calculation, graphics work, the creation of control cross section and the accuracy testing. During measuring work were used methods GNSS - RTK, traverse and tacheometry. For processing of acquired data were used softwares Groma v.12, MicroStation V8i and Atlas DMT. The output is the thematical map in scale 1:500 on format A3 in coordinate system S-JTSK and height system Bpv. The part of the bachelor’s thesis is also the digital terrain model.
Large-scale Mapping for Creation of Digital Terrain Model in Valley of Oslava River
Grečnár, Jiří ; Kubíková, Hana (referee) ; Vondrák, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is interested in large-scale mapping for creation of Digital terrain model and tacheometry plan in valley of Oslava river. The work deals about methods for mapping, processing and presentation the data. For this work was used tacheometry method. The results of work is a tacheometry plan at 1:500 scale and data for digital terrain model.
Detection of anthropogenic terrain features in the summit area of the Luční and Studniční hora mountains (Krkonoše) with use of airborne laser scanning data
Krusová, Anna ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
The thesis focuses on detection of micrographic features using airborne laser scanning data. The aim of the thesis is to propose a novel method for detecting terrain features and to identify and describe terrain objects corresponding to anthropogenic interventions in the arctic-alpine tundra region in the summit area of the Luční and Studniční hora mountains in the Krkonoše Mountains. Based on existing studies, a new detection method of specific micrographic features was proposed by combining two types of data, i.e. point cloud and its raster representation. Initially, polygon approximations of terrain objects were derived from a digital terrain model, and their spatial delineation was further refined locally using point clouds. The output provides the most complete and accurate polygon delineation of the terrain features to date, considering the available data, the specific characteristics of the area, and in comparison to previously conducted studies. The proposed algorithm has identified hundreds of additional terrain features compared to the reference data. However, this number includes false positive features, which need to be manually eliminated. Key words: airborne laser scanning, micrographic features detection, archaeological prospection, digital terrain model, local relief model, Krkonoše...
Výpočet odtokových poměrů v GIS v závislosti na kvalitě DMT vzniklých z různých vstupních dat
PLIC, Vítězslav
This thesis deals with the calculation of runoff parameters in the Třísov stream catchment using geographic information systems (GIS). Various digital terrain odels were created and compared from different input data, including the digitization of existing maps and the surveying of the terrain using GNSS and tachymetry methods. Subsequently, runoff ratios were calculated for design rainfall events along with other input data. The thesis examines the impact of input data quality on the accuracy of runoff ratio determination in a small catchment. The analysis includes the examination of runoff paths, the comparison of runoff before and after adding an unknown watercourse to the digital terrain model, and the determination of the amount of water retained in the watercourse. The aim of this thesis was to improve the quality of input data for more precise and reliable determination of runoff parameters in the landscape.
Application of airborne laser scanning in forests
Sedláčková, Oldřiška ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Lysák, Jakub (referee)
Application of airborne laser scanning in forests Abstract The main aim of this work is to determine a laser pulse penetration through forest stands according from airborne laser data acquired at the beginning of a vegetation growth. Another goal is to evaluate different methods of mean tree height determination. In the first part the technology of airborne laser scanning (ALS) and its application in forest inventory is introduced. The use of ALS data for generating digital terrain models in forested areas is evaluated. A project of a new digital elevation model of the Czech Republic is introduced. Furthermore, methods of data processing are described and characterization of areas of interest in Dobruska and Sobotka is done. Comparison of a laser pulse penetration through different forest types and evaluation of a suitable method for mean tree height determination are main outputs of this work. Keywords: airborne laser scanning, digital terrain model, laser pulse penetration, mean tree height.
