Production of holder by solid forming
Špaček, Antonín ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with suggestion of low alloy 14220.0, produced by solid forming. This suggestion is based on the size of series that contain 100 000 pieces a year. The essay contains knowledge refering to drop forging technology and comparison with existing technologies. Two suitable variants of production were assessed, these variants are drop forging with hammers and vertical forging press. Both theories were theoretically analised in order to describe given technology. The analysis also contains calculation and suitable machine choice. Drop filling on vertical forging presses was chosen because of forging type. Furthemore forging proposition was treated including production technique. The chosen variant contains calculation, suggestion of a die, machine that was used and suggestion of flash trimming. For suggested technology was chosen vertical press LZK 3150 B. Its producer is Šmeral a.s. Brno. This project also contains technical drawings of the given component, forge, dies and phase of forging.
Production of holder by solid forming
Šimon, Miroslav ; Novotný, Karel (referee) ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this dissertation is to design an optimal technological processing of a given component by solid forming. This work includes a bibliographic study, which is the source of information for the solutions. Another important topic is the global technological processing of the given component: to begin with gear blank design until the final product. The best option seems to be the die forging on forging press in three steps. From an economical point of view, the die forging realized according to the designed technological processing appears to be the best solution.
Production of forging piece "Spanner"
Vávra, Jan ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (referee) ; Novotný, Karel (advisor)
Projects developed within the bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, presented a proposal technology forged wrench - the hot-rolled steel bars 11 523.0. The thesis also compares the past with conventional methods of production and considering the new technological process of manufacturing. Based on the literature studies about fitting and calculations, was chosen to die forging hammer KHZ 2 A (producer ŠMERAL Brno, plant Hronov), with nominal energy of 20 kJ working pressure of 16 MPa and 30 kW electric power.
Forming Technology of Thin Sheets
Vymazal, Aleš ; Hušek, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
The presentation of bachelor thesis deals with the thin metal sheet technology of forming for rotary and non rotary shapes. The focus is on knowledge transfer from the foreign literature. Selected formulas were compared for a given sample of steel 17240.
Cost reduction of a diecast casting by means of high temperature separator
Koplík, Jiří ; Kolmačka, Marek (referee) ; Roučka, Jaromír (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focuses on new technology in of high pressure die casting industry. Attention is paid in particular to heating, cooling and the influence of the die lubricants on the quality of castings. theoretical knowledge was applied in practise. The optimization of the production cycle was carried out using a high temperature die lubricant and subsequent evaluation on particular casts in foundry KOVOLIT Modřice a.s.
Issues of hammer die forging
Žižka, Jiří ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues of hammer die forging which is technology that is mainly used for the production of shaped and height-versatile and rugged forgings with ribs and protrusions. Forgings are made by several blows of the tools which are called dies. Design of forgings is based on drawing documentation. For successful production of the component it is important to choose right forging temperature, parting line, required additions and tolerances. Hammers are machines which work with hit energy, they use kinetic energy for forming the material. Their characteristic features are good climbing of the material and filling deeper chambers in direction of the hit. Several types of hammers are used, for example fall hammer or double acting hammer and more.
Manufacturing of eye
Skalník, Petr ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The project follows up design of technology manufacturing of eye, which will be made by drop forging from low-alloyed steel 13 242. Yearly production is set on 300 000 pieces. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit problem and calculations will be the forging made on a hammer with several hits in the finishing hollow. Regarding to calculations of forging work is elected pneumatic-hydraulic power hammer KHZ – 2A with energy of 20 kJ. Die is made of tool steel 19 663 heat-worked according to drawing documentation. Technical and economical evaluation was aimed on a calculation of production expenses of semi-produced material (3 323 109,40 CZK) and on price of the forging machines for yearly production (930 000 CZK).
Specifics of Main Components of Simple Blanking Tool
Kašpar, Jaroslav ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis elaborated Specifics of Main Components of Simple Blanking Tool. The thesis is divided into 5 basic parts. The first part deals with the issue of cutting tools in general. The second one introduces a simple blanking tool. The third and most extensive part describes in detail the selected main components of blanking toll. The fourth part contains possible ways to increase the life of main components and the last part is summary of the most frequently used materials for these functional parts.
Design of wheel hub production
Šidlák, Filip ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design the technology production of wheel hub for the automotive industry made of C45 steel. After the evaluation of suitable technologies, a die forging on a mechanical press was selected. On the basis of technology analysis, the component shape was modified, all allowances and dimensional tolerances were set. According to calculated forming force, the crank press LZK 3150B with nominal force 31, 5 MN from the manufacturer Šmeral Brno, a. s., was chosen. Manufacturing is divided into two operations, pre-forging and after that final forging. Design of dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of tool steel of grade 19 552 with the subsequent heat treatment. The dies have upper and lower ejector for easier removal of the forged piece.
Shaft manufacturing using forging technology
Vaško, Michal ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (referee) ; Šlais, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with project of shaft manufacturing using drop forging technology. This technology is manufacturing using cubic forming on vertical forging press. Work includes detail data for working out technical drawings of suggested component. Thanks to modification of parameters and forging a whole we reduce material waste which is compared to turning technology. Production process is adapted to established production process in company Kovarna ZETOR Brno. Further the work includes cost price of one forging from the set of 30 000 products a year. The work also contains background research of drop forging technology, technical drawings, production process list and simulation outcome for drop forging of the suggested komponent by software FormFEM.
