Application generating and verifying configurations of network devices
Korček, Juraj ; Tyrala, Radek (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is a design and implementation of a program for finding security and operational deficiencies of network devices and afterwards, resolving them by generating corrective configuration. Due to a lack of security and misconfiguration, there are a lot of devices exposed to the risk of a security incident. Therefore, the program compares settings with various standards, recommendations, and best practices and generates a report with findings. Afterwards, deficiencies can be eliminated by automatic resolution or manually if automatic resolving is not possible. The program uses regular expressions to find problem settings in previously exported configurations. Implementation is written in Python, and YAML markup language is used too. Another output of this thesis is a checklist, which can be used for the creation of future modules for support of other network device vendors and thus extend the program.
CISCO security laboratory exercise
Švec, Martin ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Pelka, Tomáš (advisor)
The main purpose of this diploma thesis is to become familiar with the principles and technical solutions regarding security components of Cisco company and configure assigned system according to valid rules of security. In introduction are explained the reasons for networks security solutions. This work also analyses different kinds of security weaknesses which include deficiencies of networks protocols and also the attacks from hackers. The principle of firewall is described and also its particular types. This work is focused on explanation and classification of PIX firewall, which has dominant role in the field of network security. The other equipments of Cisco, which are improving the level of security, are also mentioned. The practical part of this diploma thesis is composed of networks connections and configuration of system consisting of router, PIX firewall and switch. It also includes the detailed procedure and description of configuration of network equipments. The focus is put on minimalization of threats and elimination of DoS attacks.
Pressure vessels pressurized water reactors
Horváth, Radovan ; Martinec, Jiří (referee) ; Suk, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the development of research on the topic of the pressure vessels of pressurized water reactors. Next is to outline the various design solutions of pressure vessels of pressurized water reactor. The thesis is divided into five chapters, contains 1 chart and 7 graphics. The theoretical part is dedicated to the history of nuclear energy and the development itself in the world. The description of the classifications of nuclear reactors is also included in the theoretical part. Summary of the theoretical part consists of a detailed description of the pressure vessel and pressurized water reactor itself. Practical part of this thesis contains the design of 3D assembly model and its modification in the program Catia V5. The overall model is composed of a main assembly, namely the body of the reactor and sub-assemblies, which were gradually installed.
Simple Installation and Configuration of Information System for Project Management
Hoskovec, Dušan ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on a development of tool for simple installation and configuration of information system for project management. This piece of work consists of four chapters. First part implies a technology study, used for making project home websites. The second chapter gives an analysis of requirements for an information system. There is a suggestion of implementation of analyzed system in the third chapter. The fourth chapter deals with implementation details of developed system.
Synthesis of the nonlinear resistors with prescribed shape of the AV curve
Prudký, Tomáš ; Slezák, Josef (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is a synthesis of the nonlinear resistors and their simulation in circuit simulator Pspice. A basic building block is analog multiplier. My job is configure circuits, which charakteristics are nonlinear. I will analyse this circuits by simulator Pspice, product will be nonlinear AV curve.
Sample projects for operator panels
Urbánek, Matouš ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis will learn about the development of exemplary projects that are designed with fixed functionality for operator panels SIEMENS (BASIC, COMFORT, RT). For this task, I have a development environment TIA portal that brings together many software tools and programs. With which allowed me to create code for specific hardware, and communication with him, or in simulation mode to test the behavior of the application in a real environment. Code, on the PLC is required for the platform (PLC) S7-1200. It is modern and provides flexibility in making out our needs in automatik. The task is engaged, firstly synchronization solution PLC and HMI operator panel. Secondly resipes in these panels.
Foundation Fieldbus peripheries
Ferjančič, Michal ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals be occupied with the transmission of process data with peripheries to control devices. Data transmission with performs through two types of industrial networks. Use with these two Foundation Fieldbus and EtherNet / IP. In work is shows method conversion through gateway between the two networks. Here there is adduced method to connected and configure devices on the networks and also their implementation. Part of this work is also creating a visualization of these peripherals and the gateway. The work is also presents possible use for laboratory task to practice.
Network Configuration Synthesis and Verification
Černeková, Alžbeta ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
The subject of this master's thesis is to address the topic of network devices configuring. It resolves the problems related to simplifying certain parts of configuration while eliminating frequent errors or issues. It introduces a solution to setting of IP addresses on router's interfaces. Furthermore it presents the generation of configuration for particular dynamic routing scenarios and its application and methods for its verification on network devices. It also demonstrates the preparation of configuration of VPN tunnel between two devices. The conclusion of this thesis contains possibilities for further extensions or improvements.
Mixing console for audio signals
Špaček, Jan ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis on the theme "Mixing console audio signals" deals with the design of mixing console for mixing audio signals from several audio inputs. After a theoretical introduction to general issues and configuration mixing consoles the block diagram and then the full circuit diagram of a custom solution mixing console is proposed, whose configuration is as follows: Two mono inputs, designed as a switchable, where you can bring the microphone or line signal levels. They are equipped with a microphone preamp and attenuation articles, tri-band equalizers, panoramas and level controllers (faders). In addition, two stereo inputs, specifically designed for line level signals. They are equipped with line-preamp, panoramas and level controllers. Output signals of all input units correspond to a regular line level. On the main bus is then equipped stereo band equalizer, line output and headphone output. Bachelor's thesis comprises a technical documentation to implement functional prototype of the console, including the experimentally measured values.
Snapshot and Rollback Support for Configuration Files in Fedora
Ježek, Michal ; Vojnar, Tomáš (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design and implement tools for support of a snapshot and a rollback for configuration files on the GNU/Linux distribution. The set of the tools enables an automatic/periodical saving of the configuration files into the selected placement. The creation of backups reacts to file events by watching the changes with kernel subsystem inotify. Tools are enabling to return to the selected backup. The way of the backup actualization is configurable. This tool permits the data comparison from selected backups, to show the differences in configurations and eventually to manage a merge among actual and selected backup. Tools also allows a comparison of a configurations of one client or configurations among clients, and to display the mutual differences, eventually to manage their merge.
